Please tell me someone is assembling the Battleboys Canon. This is a rich and diverse universe and needs to be bound in the annals of history.
The main reason imperial guard are my favourite 40k army is cause of tanks cause who doesn't love tanks!

I'm always sceptical when Tom plays and Ben isn't in the room to reign in his tendency for ad-hoc rule bending. By the looks of it, Alex was also a little unimpressed. It's a good thing Lewis at least stepped in and told him to start pre-defining what he was doing with what.
IndustrialBonecraft alex doesn't seem in a bad mood to me... maybe I'm bad at reading people... also ben is the one who told Tom how to do one of his more questionable things in order to make the tank brigade more viable
skylordwolfface its one of those things that happens with lists in miniature games where you try to do something fun and either you regret it or your enemy ends up hating you for it
This guard list is by no means broken or overpowered. It sounds like a typical rookie response for when someone plays a mech list to me "What, 6 tanks, thats OP i dont get 6 tanks waah waah".
Supreme Command detachment with 3 Tank Commanders, and an Outrider detachment with 3 Hellhounds is solid but not tournament breaking, not even sure if he has Commander Pask which he bloody should if he's running the tank company. His tanks cannot even contest objectives from troops because they aren't in a Spearhead detachment. All Alex needs to do to win is charge them repeatedly with janky units so the tanks can't shoot back, while he pummels them with the dark lances and planes.
Actually, the cost effectiveness of the hellhound is average at best. Lemon Russes are far better, beaten out only by pask and taurox primes in cost effectiveness.
Tyranid carnifexes and hive tyrants are more than double per value of hellhounds, so no, they aren't really overpowered.
Speaking of powerful units, the kabalite warrior squad (dark eldar) has the highest damage per point I have seen, and due to their low cost they are pretty normal in defence, for infantry.
Finally the Emperor can teach these xenos feinds a lesson!!!

Dark Eldar got inured to suffering god damn, you can make a roll if they survive a mortal wound.. *edit* of course if they stand only next to it. If they are inside during the blow up, they dont get a wound they are simply removed.
An objective game, with no troops on one side. I think Alex is going to win.
Tom's hellhounds are probably going to wipe out Alex's troops pretty easily, so as long as they're all dead by turn 5 the tanks can grab some objectives.
Its the miss match of Alex who doesnt know the rules, and Tom that sorta does know the rules. Tom's Tanks and Hellhounds, are strong, but not OP. but they would stomp any poorly tought out list that doesnt have anti vehicle. Or any melee chud to just tie up those tanks. Leman Russ are super good on point to power ratio... when they are allowed to use their guns

I got a question for you guys. I have been thinking of Starting to play Age of sigmar and getting a starter army kit. Do i need to undercoated first with undercoted spray first? Can i skip undercoating (with prime) it?
You can, but it's not recommended. If you don't undercoat your colours tend to be less consistent and don't 'stick' as well. Also, your paints tend to be a bit chalkier, especially layer highlights.
I wouldn't skip it, tends to look quite bad painting straight on plastic. But there is some options on the colour of undercoat sprays so if you're lucky you might not need to paint everything after spraying it.
Im going to reply both of the comments with the same answers to be nice for you for taking your time answering my question. The reason why im hesitate with the prime is that both for economic purpose but also the environment. I cant belive that the gas and particles emitting from the undercoating can is good for the enviroment. I dont have any airfilters in my house that prevent the harmful particles emitting to the air and atmosphere. (a secluded controlled environment that protect dangerously chemicals that modern day industris have today). And yes i know it might sound silly that one small can doesnt make a huge diffrent from all the polition of cars, chemical production etc but still, i dont want to help to ruin the enviroment. Every persons lifestyle matters.
You should get an airbrush and prime with that. It shouldn't have any adverse environmental effects as it's just pressurised air forcing the paint out. It'll be more expensive to set up but I guess that's the price you have to pay.

I just got my 1.5k points of Drukhari up to 3k points and my 2.5k imperial guard (mostly infantry) also up to 3k points.. there are only so many models you can paint before you go nuts. I feel with him..

How does wounds work on a unit? Does it say How much a unit/ each model can take before it becomes a mortal wound and kills the models in the unit? :O
Each unit has a 'Wounds' stat that is how many wounds it can take before it dies. When a model attacks, it has to make an hit roll, then if it hits it has to make a wound roll, then the defending model gets to make a save roll based on its armour. A mortal wound doesn't necessarily kill something, it just automatically applies a wound without needing to roll to wound or for saves (And often without needing to roll to hit)
