I remember this one time when us bikers were all chatting at a pitstop and from afar we heard a crazy exhaust scream. Everyone thought it'd be a big litre class bike with an aftermarket exhaust. It turned out to be a Trident with a Zard exhaust. lol. Everyone was amused! :D
For anyone going WOW…for the price. Keep in mind that Triumph is one of the last to still charge for freight/setup. Tacks on another +$1000-1300. All of a sudden it’s a $10,000 bike not including tax and licensing.
True, but every other local dealer (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, etc) charge freight and set-up also. I was able to find my Trident at a dealer that didn't charge freight and set-up. $8720 plus tax and tags.
In Puerto Rico i look online and it cost 12.5 k thats crazy but cars and that stuff is super expensive here because taxes and stuff but still. Thats lik 3 or 4 k more than in US or the price i see online.
I just bought a 2023 holdover and you couldn’t be more right. They marked it down to $7500 and I thought what a deal!! I was $8500 out the door after setup and freight, $9300 registered and taxed.
That looks so much better without the red!!!! Really sharp looking. Always loved that silver tank. That was my first color choice, then the black w/ large logo but I ended up with the matte baja orange which I've grown to love. I have a few of the same mods like EvoTech radiator guard and short levers. I also used Evo also for bobbins, axle sliders front and rear and engine guards. I agree about the levers....love mine and really disliked stock. I got Triumph bar end mirrors which I love. Stock mirrors not a great look and vibrated even when not getting accelerating hard. Those Brogue radiator cowls look great. The stock shape does the bike's lines and aesthetics no favors especially in red. I'm not loving my quickshifter. Dealer installed. Really only works smoothly 4>5>6. Lower upshifts really clunky. Downshifts similarly abrupt/unsettling. Brought it back to dealer twice. They say it's fine. I've been half considering the SC Project STR-1 which I like the look of best but the price is keeping me from pulling the trigger.
Nice list you got there :) The Baja Orange is pretty cool, it would take me a bit to get used to haha. I have 0 problems with my quickshifter in every gear, up or down. Maybe you need to be more firm with it haha.
@@rwdconnor Took me a while to get used to the orange but it does make for great photos for IG etc... plus it gives me more visibility on road. I've checked on forums etc....and there seems to be some that have issues and others that say the QS is flawless even lower rpm's. Yeah, I am firm with it and have I think 2000 miles with it installed. Thanks.
very nice mods there guy! I have a 2022 Trident in the matte black and have it very close to your build. No flyscreen, Evotech levers and radiator guard, Motogadget glassless bar end mirrors, grip puppies, full Zard black exhaust, paddock stand spools front and back, custom Corbin seat in smoke bomber jacket. Thinking about a DNK tune. Anyway thanks for a great video.
completely agree with the price comment for the Zard system. I was going to buy that same one for my Trident but then a small company out of Brazil came to market with their exhaust and it was only like $600 or $700 so I went with them instead. Only down side was it took like 2 months to get
wow didnt see that you replied. No it was the CS racing exhaust system. Kinda cheap looking but it gets the bike louder and sounding better for a lower price. plus I prefer the look over the "name" brand cans with all the carbon fiber. @@rwdconnor
Great job and for the money that is an awesome bike but with all the extra money you spent there are a lot of other bikes available you could have bought that may even have come stock with some of your changes. What made you want to spend that much on a Trident rather than many of the other bikes available for the same price once you purchased all the add ons?
Eurosnob LOL love those rear turn signals, at first I was like there is no way anyone would see those, then saw they use the entire tail section to reflect and it makes the effect epic. Not a fan of the sideways plate and I know people hate that I actually like the rear mudguards where the plate goes on this bike from stock, and man that Zard exhaust is by far the best sounding one for this bike. I personally like the red effects on this bike, but understand that this is the only one that has that color tank/intake. Nice build! Have you dyno'd the bike to see the output?
Did you need to install resistors to the led signals? I installed other led signals and they blink when I hit the brakes. Otherwise they work when I turn, but they stay on when I brake 🤔
Obviously nice mods, but I just want the garage. I live up north of you, could you have it delivered soon 😂? I just sold my mt10 because of my crappy carport. Seriously though, the tail mod is the wackiest. I would actually consider that one, even though at first glance it seemed odd. Brilliant. I remember seeing something similar in Europe somewhere and thought it fit over there. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
Nice bike! I own a Tiger Sport 660 and I did my own tune instead of DNK. I was wondering if we can meet up someday. I live in Hillsboro. Thanks for making such an informative video.
I agree with the zard being the best looking for the slip ons. The problem is i wouldnt be able to get it for a couple months, but i really enjoy the ZARD on the trident.. since you have a 2020, i would go full system with a tune for sure!
For me, the SC project S1 with the S bend is the most beautiful slip-on you can put on it. They also make headers aswell if you want it to be a full system
@@kaveiros75 never touches the rear wheel. Never gets too hot. Zard is one of the best motorcycle exhaust companies out there. They wouldn’t do something like that :)

What top speed you've hit that your bike
