Hi Johnny... Don't know if you're still reading comments on this video, but if you are then I want to thank you so much for posting this. I've been using ST for years and I'm only in my second week of learning Studio One 6.5
In the past I used to give each ST instrument it's own instance. I have a fairly strong computer so there wasn't really a problem doing it this way. But I've started using Kontakt in my projects as well and I could see the CPU starting to struggle just a tiny bit as it tries to keep up with all those plugin instances. Thanks to you and your clear way of showing me how to do it, I'm not walking that fine line of "will it crash or not?"
Now, if only you could find the time to show me how to do the same with Kontakt 7... it would be so appreciated!!!

Thanks. I've been a ST user since 2003. LOVE IT! However, while I understand how to setup the Direct Outs in the Mixer section, I'm having problems making ST4 play on any MIDI Ch. other than Ch. 1. I've setup the SO6.2 MIDI ch.s for all to send Directly Out to the corresponding MIDI ch.s, but it still doesn't play when I create a Part in ST4 on MIDI ch. 2. It's been about 3-4 yrs at least since I used ST 3 where I had it figured out, but I can't remember how I did it. PLEEEZE HEP ME JOHNNY!

Well the midi channel is selected in the track itself. Are you not seeing the option? I think we may need to do a zoom session or at least communicate via email so I can help. Email me at [e-mail] and we can go from there cause as you can see it's working perfect for me here.
