Fun episode for this resident of California, USA! I especially loved the visit to Belvoir Castle as I was able to see it during a trip to England in 1988 as part of an Arabian horse conference. We went there because the Manners family is known for breeding excellent Arabian horses.. We met the current Duchess and even had a meal in the kitchen which is enormous! We got to tour the castle, and to see the kitchen garden, which is huge. But this episode let me see the gorgeous library which we didn't get to see in 1988. Beautiful place, and was the location for the Little Lord Fauntleroy film starring Ricky Schroeder.
I love this show and really enjoy the side stories. Would love to live in England, it's glorious ❤❤

ok i had to go back a few times in house #2 to make sure i saw what i think i saw and i did..a rack of fresh vegetables about 6 inches from the commode/toilet. no barrier nothing to protect the vegetables from the flying debris from the toilet. they might not use it much but if i saw that in your house i would not eat there or ever return or eat any food from you that is too disgusting! 22:07 abt

As it is people don't put the toilet seat down, not realizing germs are flung up to 2m with every flush.
Perhaps the owners don't use thatbtoiket at all but the very image of it and what it represents, and being near food... sickening.
Thisnis what's hate about these American apartments shown on yountube. These NY city rip-off. Beautiful buildings that have decent apartments sliced down to unliveable spaces .. there's always the tpilet6dorectly off the "kitchen".
This just isn't "done" in a "civilised" society.
@noelleewen2946 those people CLEARLY use that sink as more than a handwashing basin.. look st the style of it... and they call it a utility room.. it shd be for washing up as you come indoors and doing laundry. Even the HINTED at concept of food in such an area is boggling... sure, 'decorate' but even with fake gourds, it's either stupidity or stupid humour..and something tells me they were actually trying to decorate... or it's food. So it is tasteless all around

The countryside in England is so 😮beautiful. Love the story about the butcher shop and the castle. So much history. Helps one put things into perspective.
I really have to spend more time in York and Leicester next time instead of London

The first property was very nice, it had lots of charm, but no real garden.
The second was my favourite, it had a great garden, wonderful views, a very nice kitchen and space for the chickens, but a WC right in the utility room?! That's a no go! I'd remove that right away!
The mystery house, wow! So beautiful, lots of potential on the outside, but it costs, takes time and is very stressful too, such a shame, but still a wonderful property! For someone with the right budget this could be a stunning home!😍
