Greetings from Canada thanks for sharing this video and i always enjoy nicky Chapman and her easy way to do her job convincing possible buyers into their next property but how come homes in the uk don't have basements & the range we call an oven a snug is the tv room
The 1st house was really lovely but i would go with the mystery house because of the huge downstairs bedroom with ensuite which would make a great master bedroom, the rooms were all a great size and the bathrooms won't need any updating. It was also the cheapest
I don’t understand the negative comments directed at this couple. They seem very nice and were clearly in the early stages of exploring Scottish towns and available properties. Many houses in the UK require significant interior work. Personally, I didn’t like any of the homes featured in this episode. I hope they were able to find a home that allows them to live the life they envisioned for themselves.

What absurd behaviour? The couple were perfectly normal people looking for a home. It's much more difficult to find a home when making a move from one country to another.
These houses in the USA with that amount of land, even if remote, would in most states be above one million dollars, close in to a city like Edinburgh, they'd be two million dollars or higher.
This if from 2017 and the price is in British Pounds so comparable to U.S.$ At the time a million U.S $ would have been what you would pay in U.K or U.S.

They indicated from the outset their intention is to operate a bed and breakfast, which is why they are seeking a six-bedroom house.
