@debbra-lyn He had lung cancer which had metastasized to his brain when they found it. He died in February of this year. He was only fifty, and left a wife and three young children. He and his wife had been married only eight years when he died.
"The breeze wafted off that loch, and I smelt a deal" Nobody quite like him, we appreciated his charm, tact and wit. Love and respect Johnny RIP May happiness come back to his wife and children one day as he hoped for them, there will always be warmth they can keep in their hearts knowing how loved he was and still is by so many people around the world. From a grateful viewer in New Zealand
Gorgeous castle. It was used as Gleneagles in Downtown Abbey. House number 1 is interesting. House 2 is perfect in its setting. A little work would really make it about perfect. One change I would make is to move the garage to the kitchen end of the house to be easier for moving groceries into the kitchen. The kutchtn is fabulous. The ability to separate the kitchen from the dining room is a huge bonus. The steps down to the living room are really lovely. Add the views, and what a home it coukd become.
Biomass Energy is the furthest thing from Environmentally Friendly. Love your show. I just learned Johnny died. Oh no he was the best part of the show and a real great guy. I’m so sorry !
Seeing the lovely Johnny bring tears to my eyes. What a lovely young man he was and is missed by so many.
I couldn’t agree more. I will have to watch this at a later date as I’m still sad.
I agree completely. This is the first time I have been able to watch an episode since Johnny died.
What happened to him?!

As a Macdonald well--lets just say we dont forget Glencoe --.
I loved the 1st house but the 2nd was cheaper and seems more value for money.
