Nice but no annex in either of the first 2 houses Jules.😅and I wouldnt have thought the mystery annexe would suit older generation looking for a flat later in life even though the kids might have liked it..depending on how old they were..but then Dan wouldnt have a place to 'tinker'...and she wanted 3 bedrooms and it only has 2..sorry Jules dont think she will buy any of those...and it might be a while before she finds what she wants...she is a tad fussy afterall. Mind you she doesnt like modern but if she found an older style she liked I think the rooms would have been too small for her liking..

Nice house 1, but 'stretching' to a further 25K pounds is a lot of money.. ETTC why do you keep doing this?? and why do couples insist that they couldn't buy a house because of their furniture.. sell the darned stuff and buy something else...House 2 lovely house 3 ticked all of their boxes.. this bat cave thing seems to be all consuming.. buy new cabinets - they have surplus from their budget don't see why it wouldn't fit into a BR. People get bogged down with minutiae... pity we didn't get to find out which they chose.. like this presenter even though I don't know her name.. thank you.. nice couple.. beautiful countryside

Not sure why you always put the ending with the dreaded music and waves crashing on rocks. Non of that is needed so edit it off

I loved all 3 properties. So glad they fell in love with the mystery house. I preferred the 1st home but not my life lol

why do so many Brits have a problem with ground floor bedrooms? It seems to be a common theme on ETTC...people don't want downstairs bedrooms or single story homes because they need to sleep upstairs?

Mystery house is a dream. Even though it's modern, it oozes character. Unlike the second house, the interior of which is a tragedy.

Could not watch till the end due to the attitude of the couple.

This episode was amazing, not only for the lovely couple and amazing mystery house which I would have loved to buy, but because it inspired me to take up tennis at 58, along with my husband. We are now addicted to tennis which has changed our lives!Thanks escape!

I. understand that this is from 2017, but in general, I find the interior decorating, and furniture of these homes just so dated and gaudy.

I don’t understand the negative comments directed at this couple. They seem very nice and were clearly in the early stages of exploring Scottish towns and available properties. Many houses in the UK require significant interior work. Personally, I didn’t like any of the homes featured in this episode. I hope they were able to find a home that allows them to live the life they envisioned for themselves.

Loved the mystery house..maybe owned by an artistic family..dont know why people in the UK frown at downstairs bedrooms..dont come to Australia folks most/many of our houses are only 1 storey..

I was also in tears by the end of this what a shame we will never know whether this adorable couple were able to buy this delightful home...I loved your enthusiasm when you revealed the 'secret' garden at the end of the viewing.. outstanding video and stunning house. I disagree with this lovely couple, yes the mystery house was nice except the kitchen area over the stove was very low for the man chef and the fields were nice but that's where it ended for me. House no:2 was awesome!! and it had great stables and dressage and those indoor dressage areas were fantastic AND it was under budget by2,50 K pounds...could always use that money for renos.. Disappointing we yet again don't hear what they bought if anything in the end.. etc areas for the daughter, all house 3 had were fields.. and the stables were smaller. All the same I hope they found what they were looking for cheers from Western Australia

I cant get used to some foreign terms like the USA "Fanny Pack" as that is a whole different meaning in Australia. Also the UK's "Gastro pub" as gastro is short for gastroenterology which is chronic diarrhoea.. certainly don't want that when you go out for tea!!
