BE very, very VAREFUL IF YOU BUY THE HOME ON THE RIVER. You are risking mold in the lower levels of a home that close to water. That railway is AMAZING!!
Generally I agree, for houses built in North America. In Britain, foundations are only 2 or 2 feet deep, and so there is no basement. There will be ventilating blocks in the foundation as well as a damp course in the walls at floor level. That stream is quite a ways down and the bank on the opposite side is lower, so the other side will flood long before the house.
House 2 was lovely. 3 looked like a flooding risk to me (not from the river but from rain down those super steep front steps). Views were amazing though.
House 1 is a nice house. Upstairs, putting a wall with a door to separate that open area from the landing, creating a second bedroom. That would add a lot of value and would very inexpensive. Adding the barn and courtyard on top of, and the house would be worth a significant sum greater than the money invested.
The dream of moving to the country in the abstract sounds lovely. Then, as they look around, they realize how far they are from Tescos, Starbucks, and their favorite shops. Second thoughts are bound to crop up. Paula may just be looking for something outside of estate living.
Never understand why people are featured on the show who are not ready to purchase. Why are we looking for a home with them when there’s no possibility of their getting back to the property after a sit and think as well as the wait to sell their own home? Wonder what the percentage of actual purchasers looks like.
We once lived close to a cemetery and it's so peaceful. We all end up there (at least our bodies), so why are people so put off by it?! It is where the body rests until it is reunited with the soul at resurrection. "So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by believing and not by seeing. Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 (NLT)
First house is a no. No garden and no viable master bedroom. The office isn’t fit for a bedroom. I learned from poltergeist I don’t want to live by a cemetery so house two is out. I’m mad too because house two is gorgeous. Mystery house is out. It’s a steep down to get into the house. The staircase in the house looks dangerous. The house isn’t as spacious as house two. And that river could cause mold under the house. Call a ghostbuster and pick house two. ETA: 195,000 tells me something is wrong with that house. Probably mold. Not to mention the speed of that water could be dangerous for kids or anyone that falls in.
I prefered house number 2 as well even though it was the most expensive. Had proper outdoor space, 3 great sized bedrooms, substantial spacious living room and kitchen as well.
No offence but if you are going to live in the country you should keep your cat inside 24/7... you will have birds and wildlife and they should be protected. Dont you have cat laws in UK?

However, still susceptible to floods😮

Well, you see, this show also sells the properties by showing them here on TV and on RUclips, so I believe ETTC is doing very well ; )
@@katharinatrub1338 Thanks for that!
North Wales, not Cornwall
Love Nikki. Lovely friends. Beautiful properties. Wonder if she moved fast enough to get it.
😊😊the wooden panelling gives a norwegian scandanavien style..lovely❤❤
So wonderful to see a bit of Llangollan - one of the prettiest towns in Wales1

Amen!
Out of the 3 houses, that one was my favorite. Lots of space, great interior, small garden and in the village. I'd buy that one on the spot.
what i find astonishing many bathrooms have no tiles but wood paneling..never seen that before amazing😊😊
Replace the banister on the top floor with a wall to create a fully enclosed primary bedroom, perfect!
I'm referring to the first house, then purchase the garage and courtyard and you can even extend the upper level of the garage to add a true master!❤
😊😊wow and another wow for the mystery house never seen a place like that amazing❤❤

Loved house 2, glad she chose it. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

That mystery house would be inundated with rain and snow come winter because of the downward entrance.
😊😊3 amazing houses❤❤lovely
😊😊the english glory is amazing❤❤
love you Nicky😆
Also i'd buy the mystery house today
I would buy the mystery house in. An. instant… is it for sale?

Actually, few cats are a match for things with superior eyesight and wings. Plus, many cats just aren't interested.
Is this show legit?
nope
no
It's television
Haha 😂😂😂 it makes for relaxing viewing
It used to be a really good show in the 90's, the houses seem somewhat different of late🙄
