Wonderful ads from yesterday. The ads from earlier periods are so much better, funnier, and more creative than any of the hum-drum auto ads of today. Thanks for the video. Great!!!!!
Awesome! I love the gimmicks! That cowboy riding on the axles (and getting shaken to death) next the smooth ride of the cars occupants is GREAT marketing. Would love to see stuff like this today instead of how 'connected' a car is to the internet. (like Audi....yuck!)
This seems to be an excerpt from the film The Car of Your Dreams, circa 1974 Pyramid Films. Brilliant footage, they clearly don’t make car commercials this cool anymore… HM, a Clio Award winner
As hilarious as that Bug commercial looked, that is actually how they test many components of consumer goods. Behringer (Music equipment maker) actually hires people to twists knobs thousands of times to make sure they last.
The sweets of creation (cocaine etc) become socially unacceptable and so creativity has gone out the window. Ad industry was rife with drug abuse back in 60s and 70s. How colourful were things back then??? LOL

Automobiles has made us who we are no matter what part of the global world you live. It's engineering that moved the world. Thank you 👍
Lol Wag Blessing swings those arms so hard it’s a wonder he doesn’t fall off and get himself run over by that Mercury automobile.
I love old cars and old car commercials! Where did you get all of these from and where can I see the rest of some of these, they're brilliant!
Awesome video, so entertaining 🙏🏼✨✨👍
Just what I needed on a cold and rainy day like today. Thanks, my friend.

3:05 classic Opel Kadett "Mini-Brute versus Maxi-Brute" commercial! Successful ad campaign lasted for several years.
My Dad loved Opels. We had a red Kadette and a light blue coupe that later was badged a Manta.

Just wondering how me many car sales was created by those great commercials? I think sales soared.
Hi KRA, would you happen to know what song is playing at 3:58?
Saw most of those ads long ago. And most of those cars are long gone. But there are survivors.

I have a 1973 gran torino myself, i liked when that guy was on top of it while going over 2x4's
Great compilation, but, what the name of last song of the video?
What about the Volvo Truck commercial where Jean Claude VanDamme balanced between two Volvo Semis?
Is like creativity and great ads just got stuck in the past dont you all think??
Today's car ads are nothing compared to these ads.

I don't know if you guys remember the parody of the diamond commercial with the circumcision from Saturday Night Live.

Honda Civic
Wheres the full video for the Dodge? "59??
Ride of the Valkyries was too perfect. 4:10 is just marketing though, they passed a Citroen DS which is supposed to ride better than that box boat.
Them cars must all have Dunlop tires, cuz thet's the first time the screen dun lop over the time belt at the bottom.

Thank you. Unfortunately, it's an unnamed tune for these kinds of videos.
The car going over the falls may have been an Austin Marina-possibly one of the worst cars ever built!
what was great?
Car Abuse!
Putin (!) in Volvo?
No ... Really? o_0
Classics.
Just about every European thing is a genuine one, and all except one of the US things are total and complete wank.
Just like the cars, really.
