I'm not big on cancer books myself but I might give Me, Earl and the Dying Girl a go. Especially as it sounds humorous and I like funny books haha Rebel Belle is another one I really want to read!! It just sounds like so much fun!
In the middle of ACOTAR now! Didn't know it was going to be a trilogy, so that's exciting! I think I bought me and earl and the dying girl with birthday money? Not really sure. I kind of went crazy in B&N and it's all sort of a blur. REGARDLESS, I really want to get to it soon because I need a new hilarious book in my life Great wrap up! SO MANY BOOKS! Maybe not to you, but to me GAH! I need to get on your level
I LOVED A Court of Thorns and Roses SoSoSO So much! I just finished it yesterday and already I am contemplate reread it. I cannot wait for book #2 in this series!
finally read Throne of Glass this month and LOVED it! I hadn't read a good fantasy series since the Graceling Realm a few years ago. So glad I found another great one.
I read ACOTAR, An Ember in the Ashes, and The Girl on the Train this month too. Ember was my favorite book of the month, it really surprised me! I agree that the reveal of Girl on the Train was a let down. I still really liked it though!
I read Me and Earl and the Dying Girl too, I liked it but it definitely wasn't really what I was expecting, and I definitely agree that the humor was kind of hit or miss too.
First it was great getting to see you at bookcon/ random city signing lol ! I still have not finished me, earl, and the dying girl. I am going to try again though before the movie I'm just not sure how I feel about it yet! Loved Rebel Belle
I'm planning to pick up ACOTAR this month and I'm really excited! I've heard a lot of great things about it. I read An Ember in the Ashes in May too and I really loved it!
I've just finished reading 'Trial By Fire' by Josephine Angelini. I left that book with so many un-answered questions and am so ready to get my hands on the sequel. I honestly loved the book so much. I'm a slow reader but I got that book finished in 2 days.
My favorite read of May, and of the year so far, is definitely Uprooted by Naomi Novik. It's a fantasy novel centered around a young woman named Agnieszka, and it is SO GREAT!!
I read Me, Earl and the Dying Girl recently and loved it. I found it 100x more realistic than other books I won't name. I also could connect with it seeing as how I grew up in a neighborhood very similar to Earl's. And I loved the humor as well. (:
You've read some great books this month! Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it just as I always do. My favourite was Throne of Glass. After I have finished it, I was obsessed with it for a whole week or so. Couldn't resist and made a whole discussion video on the book. Like I still think about it, though it's been several weeks.
I love your shirt! And also thanks for this! I was waiting for your wrap up on Rebel Belle and the Sabaa Tahir book, excited to read those now! I love hearing your opinions in your wrap ups and reviews :) I find myself loving the books you recommend esp in the fantasy genre!
I read Me, and Earl, and the Dying Girl this month and I really enjoyed it, too. It wasn't the best book, but it was quick, funny, and interesting. I'm really glad you enjoyed Rebel Belle! I thought it was a fun light read when I picked it up last year;) I also read ACOTAR this month and absolutely loved it. It was definitely my favorite book of the month, but Anna and the French Kiss came in a close second. XD
My favourite book I read this month was The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness. Think I will try and get Rebel Belle and A Court of Thorns soon as they sound really good reads.
I totally agree about the end of The Girl on the Train. It was totally underwhelming and obvious which is a shame because the book had so much potential.
Finally read throne of glass this month! LOVED IT READING COM RN! Also read, a darker shade of magic, prodigy, champion, the heir, and I'll give you the sun! :) love your videos!
My favorite book this month was definitely The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd! But I'm currently reading A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab and its amazing as well :)
My favourite is either between Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar children or Fairest by marrissa meyer. Though the length of the latter really didnt satisfy me since i read it in a day! Need winter asap :))
I need to read Me and Earl and the Dying Girl before the movie comes out! I've heard so many great things. I feel like everyone but me read ACOTAR this month, haha.
I read The Girl On The Train in April and my experience was a lot like yours. I read Gone Girl in one sitting and LOVED it, same with her other Gillian Flynn books. Every single book of hers I alwayd get a hunch about who killed who, and two of the three books I was right (Sharp Objects and Dark Places). However, with Girl on the Train, I had FOUR theories and none of them were right. Ultimately I was a little disappointed as well.
I probably gonna give a try on Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, Rebel Belle and An Ember in the Ashes. It's sound interesting. I read The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Gailbraith. I like the story very much. ;)
yeah, me and earl and the dying girl wasn't for me. I may still give the movie a shot, curious whether or not I'll like it even though I didn't like the book. as always, great video!
I totally agree with the girl on the train. the first 2/3 was amazing but before the book revealed who's the "culprit" I kinda guess who was it and then I read that I was right. so it makes me a lil bit disappointed because I want to be surprised and i think the ending is a little bit too rush. But still great tho
Gone Girl to me is a lifetime movie, so I liked The Girl on the Train so much more. And the ending was great b/c it went so deep and it was so sad. Idk, I just think Amy from GG is ridiculous :/
I'm really confused about the description of ACOTR - faeries AND Beauty and the Beast? Like...how? I haven't read any other Sarah J Maas, but that is boggling me so much I will probably have to read it.
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl was okay and kinda funny, but I can't seem to get over how it made a really bi/panphobic comment in it. And it wasn't even poking fun at it, it was just straight up mean. Still kinda good though, if you overlook that one bit.
Totally off topic: I just started to listen Bastille b.c of a past video of yours. OMG--where have I been? Obviously, not been following music... lol. I've been replaying Dreamer a lot. What are other better songs of theirs?
I will never understand how you constantly read a million of books each month.
Im guessing audiobooks sneak in there
There may or may not be Cheeto dust on my fingers in this video.
PeruseProject Have you read by any chance A Thousand Splendid Suns?
Alva Alphy
I've owned that book for a while but still haven't picked it up. Is it good?
LunaWaffle yes its amazing! Life changing and one of my favorites of all time..
LunaWaffle like Sausan Al-Sulaimani said "its amazing and life changing" you will not regret it.
Sausan Al-Sulaimani
+ Alva Alphy wow I'll have to read it after the books I'm currently reading then!
Do a "books I hated" video!
Can I say It that your reviews are very refreshing and it is nice to get so much detail rather then just saying this is a good book. Thanks
every book tuber ever, fav book of may ACOTAR!!! :)
I'm not big on cancer books myself but I might give Me, Earl and the Dying Girl a go. Especially as it sounds humorous and I like funny books haha

You made me more excited to read AEITA. Woo!

Have to read Me Earl and the Dying Girl before the movie comes out! :D

My favorite book I read in May has to be hands down The Raven Boys
As per your review, I read The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August and absolutely adored it!
I'm planning to pick up ACOTAR this month and I'm really excited! I've heard a lot of great things about it. I read An Ember in the Ashes in May too and I really loved it!

NEEEED to pick up Rebel Belle… Sounds amazingly hilarious, but kick-ass. Also, I love your nails! :')
Favorite book this month is definitely Ready Player One. Possibly my #1 this Year.
Say what you want about the filming location, but this lighting is LOVELY. You look beautiful! :) What a good month! Woo!
My favourite book I read this month is Behind the Rainbow by Solomonica de Winter. It was so awesome!
I love your shirt! And also thanks for this! I was waiting for your wrap up on Rebel Belle and the Sabaa Tahir book, excited to read those now! I love hearing your opinions in your wrap ups and reviews :) I find myself loving the books you recommend esp in the fantasy genre!
Thorns and roses for the WIN!!! So good.
I can't wait to read ACOTAR and well as an ember in the ashes! My favorite book in May was A Lion Called Christian! 💕✌🏼️
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl is on my June TBR! I'm so glad you enjoyed ACOTAR, I'm currently reading it:) Loved this video as always:D
I just saw the trailer for ''Me Earl and the dying girl!'' Holy crap i need to read this book!
I read Me, and Earl, and the Dying Girl this month and I really enjoyed it, too. It wasn't the best book, but it was quick, funny, and interesting. I'm really glad you enjoyed Rebel Belle! Well, the end of Gone Girl filled me with rage and the fact that Gone Girl is a stand alone kills me inside.
Yet it would take her forever to finish reading the novels crapovles I wrote linked in my videos.
I really want to read all the books you read! Well except for ACOTAR because I've already read it but it was soooooo amazing
I've got ACOTAR and I'm getting AEITA when it comes out this week (I live in the UK). Can't wait to read them. :)
You are awesome! (: It's so dangerous for me to watch your videos because I always go pick up the books you recommend. (: thanks girl!
My favourite is either between Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar children or Fairest by marrissa meyer. Though the length of the latter really didnt satisfy me since i read it in a day! Need winter asap :))
definitely want to read some of these!
Your eyes look amazing in this video!
I need to read Me and Earl and the Dying Girl before the movie comes out! I've heard so many great things. I feel like everyone but me read ACOTAR this month, haha.
Proper lighting for a horror book video, especially if you put the single light in front at about knee height.
I want to read "Me and Earl and the dying girl " for sooooo long, I hope I can get it this month because I wanna read it before watching the movie
Totally off topic but you`re so gorgeous! :o
I read The Girl On The Train in April and my experience was a lot like yours. I read Gone Girl in one sitting and LOVED it, same with her other Gillian Flynn books. It was amazing to meet you at BookCon!
I've been waiting for this for 2 days :)
I loved AN Ember in the Ashes. I didn't like The Girl on the Train. I still have to read Rebel Belle and A Court of Thorns and Roses.
yeah, me and earl and the dying girl wasn't for me. I may still give the movie a shot, curious whether or not I'll like it even though I didn't like the book. as always, great video!
I am currently reading Me & Earl & The Dying Girl- and I get what you're saying about how it's not for everyone because I feel kind of meh about it.
I totally agree with the girl on the train. the first 2/3 was amazing but before the book revealed who's the "culprit" I kinda guess who was it and then I read that I was right. so it makes me a lil bit disappointed because I want to be surprised and i think the ending is a little bit too rush. You should check out The Wrath and the Dawn. It was pretty freaking good.
Your Eyes!
Has anyone read "Unbroken"? if you haven't I highly recommend it to all! It is non fiction but in my opinion it doesn't read like one!!
First I love your name! Second, how long does it take you to read all your books? I am amazed. I love books!
I didn't hate me earl and the dying girl but i didn't love it either it did make me laugh and i did shed a tear so its okay for me
Gone Girl to me is a lifetime movie, so I liked The Girl on the Train so much more.
Christina Cramer yeah. U should totally read it and then endure the upcoming love triangle... #ugh #feylin
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl was okay and kinda funny, but I can't seem to get over how it made a really bi/panphobic comment in it. And it wasn't even poking fun at it, it was just straight up mean. Still kinda good though, if you overlook that one bit.
