I just got "A Little Life" from the library and like you, I'm quite intimidated by its size. But I think it's going to be a very interesting read, especially because it's supposed to be so good, yet so depressing.

Never Let Me Go is one of my favourite books ever! I didn't enjoy the movie as much though, I felt like everything was happening too quickly and far too many things were missing.

I just picked up a book at my local bookstore called The Quick by debut novelist Lauren Owen. It's kinda mystery novel meets Victorian era meets Anne Rice and it seems like it'll be pretty awesome. I've received a ton more books this month from friends and family, just pouring in from graduation presents, as well, and all of them seem terrific! But this one has stood out to me. Maybe I'll read it next.

I read Everyday a few years ago, but I remember that it blew me away. It was so beautiful, heart wrenching, and also just very interesting to think about. Sadly, the sequel is not quite a sequel, but a companion piece because I would love to know what happens later on, but I'm sure it will still be wonderful.

I read Everyday in one day! It's really really good :) One thing I will note is that A, the main character, isn't a he. It's a fairly important point to the book that A doesn't really have a gender, which I just feel is important to point out because this is good representation for people that don't feel they have a gender. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! I know I really did :)

Never Let Me Go is great, but when I was reading it I was so confused that I had to stop in the middle and go watch the movie (a thing I would normally never do lol). That did help a lot, made it make a lot more sense, and after that I was able to understand and properly enjoy the book. I'll warn you, it's kind of sad, especially at the end.

Hey! I was wondering if you've read the Inheritance Cycle (series) by Christopher Paolini? It's fantasy books about Drangons and a farm boy who becomes the first Dragon Rider in a hundred years (if I'm remembering that correctly, but I can't find it so we'll go with that) by chance. His uncle is killed and he goes on an adventure to get his revenge, but it turns out to be so much more. I'm on the second book, but I definitely recommend you check out the first, you might like it. It's called Eragon. :)

Have you come across any of these books Regan: The Night Angel Trilogy, The Demon Cycle (The Painted Man), Raven's Shadow (Blood song), The Lightbringer (Black Prism). The names in brackets are the names of the first books in the series. These are all fantasy books, which I'm surprised many booktubers don't mention when they talk about fantasy series. Just wondering if you've heard about these books as well
