Excellent video, thank you! Do you happen to know the model# for the thermal carafe that's compatible with this maker (DGB-550 Series)? I searched the Cuisinart website and the instruction manual and I can't tell. There are a few 10 cup thermal carafes from what I can tell...

i can not take the coffee bean reservoir assembly out. after using it, it takes a hell of time to remove. it sticks to the main so good.
Question! I have this exact coffee maker. I made coffee in this once and now all it will do is grind coffee. Once ground never brews. It’s almost like the heating element isn’t working. Tried EVERYTHING!
It might be bad but make sure the top lid is close all the way, the grinder has an interlock on the lid that has to make a switch or the coffee maker will not work. It could be the top lid is coming up after the grinder comes on. this would prevent the coffee maker from coming on. also make sure the Brew Basket door is all the way closed and you hear a click.
My grandparents has that coffee maker. They use both filter at a time I keep asking them why they do, and they get mad at me!
LOL it it works its ok, but it might over flow and get coffee grounds in the coffee

BUT FINNALY they understand now! Maybe they used to have a coffee maker they didn’t come with the permanent they did not have a permanent filter before. I think they thought they had to use both lol😂

How to use regular coffee
Got this coffee maker for Christmas, carefully measured the beans, and let it rip. Following the directions carefully re: the amount of beans and coffee. Problem is...lots of grinds end up staying in the compartment and chute and the coffee doesn't come out very strong. Any thoughts?
It sounds like it might be the grind. Maybe a little more fine
@@JustADad We don't have the ability to adjust the grind, if anything its being ground very fine, the steam is making it stick to the grinding compartment
@@susanveramoran8952 Sorry I thought it was a different machine. Make sure the bean compartment is dry before you put the beans in. Mine almost all the ground coffee makes it way to the filter basket.
For the life of me I can’t figure why they would allow condensation to get into the grinder. It makes such a mess and adds an unnecessary step in cleaning the basket.
a door should close to help with this.
