In order to see the Whomping Willow, the story needs to take place after 1971, in which case we would absolutely see familiar faces in the game and maybe even the ministry. At least Barty Crouch and Alastor Moody are known to serve at the ministry as early as that. Maybe encounter Cornelius Fudge as a student or a junior minister? Also yes, more voice. Changing the voice pitch of our character is a criminally poor experience: there are two voice actors whose voices were only sloppily modulated for voice pitch which made every option except unaltered voice sounds like it's being performed by a modem. People with differently pitched voices do exist and some of them are voice actors. Voice mods also exist and can do a good job at changing the sound of one's voice when approached with skill and experience.
I wouldn't mind a mechanic that would allow you to take companions on certain missions, I was expecting Sebastian to join us on the mission to the last repository, he could've been the devil on the shoulder to Fig's angel. Not calling Sebastian evil, but his character kinda leans towards unlawful
so basicallly, make it a modern open world bully game with a HP skin, which honestly is what it should have been in the first place, with the story being integrated around your school year schedule
My favourite part of the game was the beast collection. I would like them to add more ways to interact with the beasts in the next game. Also I want the ability to add more beast species to one environment. The beasts should interact with each other as well Also I want them to add the option to get an owl, mouse or cat and the ability to customise them I like animals😂
Wands and Brooms should be able for us to customize like the color, type, handle. At least they should give us options to redo it ourselves so it impersonates what we like. Agree on the enemy types needed to be more. Also want to point out each house would give different quests and challenges. Like i feel each house need to be 70% or more different than the other houses story. I also don't see NPCs performing their quests and flying around. If there's more live, it will be better:)
I could see a Quiddich World Cup setting, Diagon and Nocturne Alley, Ministry of Magic, Black Lake, and Askaban setting. Something similar to Newt’s Trunk would also be neat, a useful homemade room you can access anywhere. I could also be down for a hidden section of the school that is created for the lore that follow other boarding school or school tropes, like maybe there’s a lost abandoned floor to the school under it, sub dungeon 2. Or maybe there’s an adult EDU building in London. Maybe there’s time twists hidden around Hogwarts, so you can explore the school in different eras. Or maybe there’s an underwater section inside the black lake.
I understand wanting more things based on your hose, but the sorting hat usually just puts people where they want to go rather then where he judges them to go, like with Harry.
Sorry to rain on your parade, but the shrieking shack & whomping willow weren't built until Remus Lupin attended Hogwarts in 1971. So they don't belong in a story that takes place in the 1890s.
2:42 sorry but it would be impossible to visit the shrieking shack or the whomping willow, as the shrieking shack was just a normal house in hogsmeade before it was used by lupin who made it derelict when it was a werewolf and we are still probably 65-70 years away from the shrieking shack becoming haunted. Likewise with the whomping willow, which was planted over the entrance to the tunnel leading to the shrieking shack around the same time. Portkey games didn’t leave them out to annoy us, they left it out because they didn’t exist at the time
@@Amalgaminglethough I agree that having them would be cool, there are hard core lore fans who would probably freak if they were included. A way to work around that is if there was a quest that results in the main protagonist time travelling to the time when they did exist which sounds cool because it gives the option to include the time turner as a game mechanic.
I agree that all of these features are really cool ideas on their own but the problem is fitting them all into one, cohesive game. For example if you want the experience of getting your letter and beginning life at Hogwarts as a first year you have to completely redo the combat cause you can't really have an 11 year old dodge rolling and casting advanced spells to take down massive monsters and adult wizards. I like thinking about all the possibilities for the sequel but I do think its worth remembering that it isn't as simple for the devs as just throwing everything into the game and hoping it all works together.
I know the idea of romance is controversial, but it would be nice to have a choice if you want it or not. My idea was that there could be a scene where your in potions class and you have the option to pick either one of the companions or nobody for ones who just want to play the game. And I also like the idea of the yule ball and tri wizarding tournament.
Hi Everyone, I’m a big fan of the Wizarding World from Sweden and I would love to share my ideas for the upcoming sequal! I think many of you would like to see more of the action that’s going on in Hogwarts Legacy; and yes, the Wizarding World is about duelling, beasts and dark wizards too. But I on the other hand would love to feel like a normal Hufflepuff-student for once. This includes studies, classes, sneaking up at night with my friends, OWL’s etc, immersion, Diagon Alley etc. I don’t feel the need of being the savior of the Wizarding World. I would also wish for: - More spells: Not only usefull ones. They could include jinxes etc. - Deeper immersion: Being able to sit by the fire. Reading books we already know stuff about (The History of Hogwarts etc). - More beasts. - A map consisting of Hogwarts, the grounds, the lake (underwater?), the forbidden forest and Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley and the Ministry. - Consequences of your actions. - More magical plants and more herbology. - More subjects. -Quidditch. - Wizards Chess. - Animagus. - The option to hold/grab/holster items like the wand etc. - The same currency as in the lore of the Wizarding World! The list can be made long but yeah, that’s some of my so many ideas. I wish you all the best! 🧙🏼♂️
My biggest tiff is when your going around the map looting, they need better gear based on difficultly to get it. Like im sorry, but if you spend a couple hours looking for the demiguise' for level 3 locks, then need to solve a somewhat difficult puzzle, atleast give me something worth my time. Not a underleveled common item 2/3's of the time...
i really want to see alot of secret passageways! we did not get any of them.... Hogwarts is a MAGIC CASTLE! you would think it would be LOADED WITH SECRET PASSAGeWAYS AND MYSTERIOUS ROOM WITH TREASURE YOU CAN COLLECT! I mean where are those?
Multiple endings and choices, more upgrades for skills and stats, more wand choices, house cup point system, give us quidditch, more in depth classes instead of one boring cutscene.
I think the best way to start Hogwarts Legacy 2 (Or Year 6) could be similar to Prisoner of Azkaban. Sebastian is sentenced to Azkaban, goes on the run, and Dementors are sent to find him. Along the journey, you encounter them, and the encounters delve into your character's past. The perfect tutorial level could be The Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley.
I for one hope that they make use of the common rooms by having quests and other activities in those areas. Perhaps even exclusive quests to each house, thus encourage players to constantly reply the game in order to experience everything the game has to offer. Also I don't know why ut I really want a sleep mechanic. I would love for exploring hogwarts after hours could result in detention if caut and so you can sleep in the common room in order to avoid that. Just something I'd like for emersion. There's a lot more I'd love to see but I won't list because it will make this comment way to long.
I really want a readaptation of the books in a game. It's not required to play as Harry and we could have a smaller, more personal story playing alongside his. This is ensures we meet all the iconic characters and visit all the locations. It's the issue with setting the game in the past or future, since what I, as a fan of the books, want is to see it come to life as I know it. Not as something similar to it with stuff missing. I can't stand the new characters or the palace/museum like aesthetic of the castle interior. Also, most people are way too nice to you. No banter and bland Disney-like dialogue. The darker stuff didn't go to the same lengths the books have and it felt like nothing had bite to it. I'm tired of everything being so safe.
I agree with you all the stuff you said it is fair and would be great to see them but to add so many new stuff and make sure everything works as it should would take a bigger team, way more funds and also a lot more time, we as fans want a lot but we also don't want to wait 10+ years like i am waiting for the next Mass Effect game. As for me i would like to see some iconic locations and stuff added and the wizarding world has an unlimited amount of potential to the point that its impossible to add everything. But what i would like the most to see is a more complex story both main story and side stories of the side characters and maybe visit the other school for wandless magic.
would be nice to visit diagon alley, knockturn alley, black lake, hogwarts express train, & a section of the game being different pending on which house you are in like a hidden area for use in something in the game. including a morality system like in star wars the old republic is capable of bringing diversity. i would not be surprised if the ministry of magic & its building got involved in the sequel. having character companions joining in on missions like in star wars the old republic does would be great. enjoyed single character view in the game. the wand was customizable in the first 1 game. could have a chance to visit gringots the normal way. more places to visit like more hamlets, black lake depths, maybe st. mongo, or even the chance to visit another wizard school. mixing up the schedule attendence for classes based on house would be intertaining like having 1 class attend earlier in 1 house but later in another would for a fact change things up rather then rehashing. specialties & skills like in sims/star wars the old republic would help bring diversity. including use for house points like improving skills or abilities based on how much the house has would have a chance to diverse things. we already have the ability to buy a handful of brooms don't need to customize them. more uses for room of requirement. definitly need more types of beasts/potions, ingrediants/plants/spells/collectables/secrets, trophies, access to quidditch, more types of mini games/trials/puzzles, more inventory space particularily at beginning, & some sort of storage for inventory items outside of inventory. think of how fun it would be if you did an action or got to a point & the game switched the charater with the single view point for a quest.
But the womping willow and shreeking shack dont exist yet in this time.. they were planted/made by dumbledore for Lupin to hide him being a werewolf. So of course they're not in this game…
I would like to see different choices rewarded differently. For instance, if you are in Ravenclaw, you should be able to do spells other houses' wizards can't do. The other houses' wizards will have other skills specific to them.
Feature #1 Retain its Single-Player aspect. Feature #2 Imply that JKR is still involved. My personal opinion is that without the hullabaloo, it 'probably ' wouldn't have made as much money. Feature #3 Moral System Feature #4 House points relevancy
i say the entrance into hogwarts is fine but i do agree we need more information about the main character like having them be a transfer student from the players country of origin and that would include our original school like for an example i am in the USA so i would have transferred from ilivermorny and another thing we would have a choice of accents seriously they did the same thing with natsi why not the main character and it wouldn't hurt to sit down for a meal another thing i would love to see is the dying of the outfits and i know its hogwarts and they have there love for wands but be really cool if they used a staff like mad eye moody in the case of moody they should include an eye patch or an option to to make one of your eyes magical and being able to see thru stuff they do have reviling charm but that only does so much and what if someone is transgender but they chose a male body but chooses a witch gender but still has to wear pants i think as soon as that player chooses witch their outfits all turn feminine and the same for the gender wizard the outfits all turn masculine
