@Motor Madn3ss I've finished Ancestors - The Humankind Odyssey sometime ago, but I do have a few archived clips from memorable moments saved for prosperity. I'll see what I can dig up that is relevant to the Apex! Hunting achievement and upload it for you.
Don't feel bad. I took my entire clan to a new settlement with them carrying leafs for beds instead of spears cuz I didnt know we would get attacked. We made it to the settlement fine and slept but when I woke up we all got attacked by a stripped lion and I frantically tried to make spears (why does it take so damn long) while all of my primates were getting eaten
Man.... You have no idea. I have all my people grab branches with mimic command, then make them throw it all in a pile, then I take an obsidian split rock (sharpens in two hits), then sharpen them myself and put them in a pile. Then I just command them to pick up a sharpened stick from the pile.
I think that every time I eat then they whole clan copy’s and runs through all the provisions lmao can’t eat a damn plum around them without everyone running to grab them one
At least until you can make a spear in just two taps. Then it's easier to just make them yourself. For the first half of the game though, yeah, definitely.
About 15 seconds maybe but the 3 extra wacks on the stick is about the same time it takes to switch items put down strip and pick your rock back up. So it's virtually the same timing.
🤓 actually with the chopper it’s only 3 hits when stripped saves so much time )especially in the very first evolution) it takes about 10 wacks let alone with it not being stripped
@BIGDIAMONDCHAIN The jungle is a massive area to explore, but if you have gone past the Crocodiles Island, you are 1/2 way there. Keep heading eastwards until you reach the Canyon, past the Caves (Garden Oasis) and you will find the "Door to Savanna" area, which will give you access to another huge biome, the Savanna itself. Keep in mind, this is an endgame area and very harsh if you are not prepared right. The location depicted here is the "Pond & Puddle Oasis", and just before the end of the clip at 04:15, you can see the central area of the Savanna, the "Rock Around Oasis", which the following 2 videos were recorded at. Hope this helps. Good luck.
@@snowmind found it just that I accidentally set up my clan territory in the savannah while they’re still at the jungle so after it was done loading i had no members, and since i was starving i was dying and dying over and and I couldn’t find a single person to put into my clan, how do i fix this
@BraianeLaraDOSEDUPLA Hi there, I've used Google Translate to understand what you were asking. What you need is to (from the description): - Unlocking the "Bipedal" ability (shortcut: walk in water as much as possible) Walking in water, especially earlier on, at every opportunity you get, will help your bipedal ability develop, which in turn allows you to explore further and faster as you progress later on.
I was experimenting it today. But for some reason, some of the apes would ignore the mimic command while others would do it perfectly. I guess it has something to do with the distance, but even when I call them to follow me, they stay too far away lol.
@juanantunes7358 You need to show them who's the apex ape and get them in line ;-) But joking aside, it is very common for some members of your clan to often ignore you. It's part of the built-in AI that gives your apes some freedom and the autonomy to act on their own, even though sometimes it feels counterproductive when you want something done quickly. For the eagle-eyed, notice that it happens a number of times here too (0:08, 0:22, 0:32 etc) and I just keep issuing the same order two or three times to get everyone in the clan to comply. Perhaps a side effect of orders queueing and slowly propagating, though way too slow, within a bigger clan?
@Netana.I On the Xbox controller is "B" x2 (Mimic), as you can see from the video at 01:59. I'm not familiar with the PS4 buttons setup, but if you check out the fandom wiki for the "Order Mimic" command, hopefully it will give you a clue. ancestors.fandom.com/wiki/Order_Mimic
@brandondesalles5419 Please read the description of the video. I tried to put as detailed instructions as I could recall, in the hopes of helping out people that are new or starting out fresh. Hope it helps you out too. Good luck.

mass strip stick saves so much time

You can save some time by mimicking stripping the branches first, then using a tool to make a spear

@@snowmind Yeah, this may be the case. Thanks for awnsering. I started this game last week and its very immersive and good to play.
This would work great if the ai wasn’t dumber than rocks 😭
Not quite related to the video, but does someone knows cca when we stopped jumping that good and high up ?
Like in real life evolution?
No wonder it didnt work for me, you have to stop at every stage of production... smh

Double tap circle immediately after you perform an action. Breaking branches off and sharpening are 2 actions unless the branch is stripped first.
How did u manage to get bipedalism so early like im still struggling 💀💀
