Any word on progress between the machinists and management on filming videos from the locomotive cab? I see that a couple of NS film authors are still filming (Cabview Holland Dutch Railways did one a day ago), so I guess there is hope? Thanks. Dana.
Hi Dana. As far as I know management is still looking for a legal solution or get an exception for some drivers. They want 2 drivers for each region to record video's. But currently regulations don't allow it. The regulations aren't made by NS. As far as I know everyone has been asked to stop recording and publishing video's. My manager has done a good word for me, so hopefully I can make a change to get permission. Until then I think it's best not to record any new video's, I don't want to spill any chances. Unfortunately I have no idea how long this will take, but as soon as I get permission I'll publish a new video :)

That's correct. My mistake. And sorry for my lack of updates recently. There has been a meeting with some drivers from the NS about this issue. Unfortunately (well.. not really) I was on holiday. But we are currently awaiting permission from our safety department. If permission is granted then an update to our drivers handbook will be made and we can start filming and publishing again. I have some good hope we get permission. But I'm afraid it can still take up weeks if not months before we have permission.

Hi Dana! I've got several video's on the shelf to publish, but unfortunately we've got an issue regarding recording and publishing video's made in the cabin. :( I have to get permission to record and publish new videos. I've recently came back from holiday, so I'll ask my manager soon if he knows more about this. To be continued :)
