That is badass my friend. Great job. I can only imagine how much you improve it next year. What was your total man hours in doing this and at what cost if you dont mind me asking. Thanks bro
It took me around 40 hours. The DMX routines and syncing the mouth movements took 10 hours. I have 6 routines with room for two more. The total in parts was probably around $30 but I had a ton of stuff laying around. Solenoids, cylinders, air hoses, flow control valves, servos etc. If you don't have anything and have to piece it out I would guess around $200 in just parts. Programming and DMX lighting is another story in terms of price. It is a rabbit hole depending on the level you want to drop to. Next year the arms will move.
This is absolutely brilliant! Amazing work. What kind of fog machine and strobe are you using? Also, who is the asshat that down voted this video? Who does that? What kind of loser looks at incredible work like this and says they don’t like it? Anyway, rant over, you are fantastic.
Could you estimate how much you spent in extra materials for this, with and without the lights/fog machine, etc.? I'm guessing some stuff you already had lying around, but I probably wouldn't!
@@Ganychan Depends. I did it with a Booboxflex controller because I have an advanced show. Maybe around $300 with controller. There is a servo skeleton this year and you could cut the jaw on that. You could get away from using a servo controller and could do it for around $100
Wait so how the heck did you do the fog . This whole video confused me since idk what a cervo even is 😭😭im going to try my best to do this but also the fog is so amazing !! Pls let me know if you have a link or tutorial 😊👍🏼
It is a Fury Jett fog machine that is controlled with a DMX program. You program your colors, fog output, timing, fade, strobe etc. and it saves the routine. Once you activate your program it will play back that exact same routine. I did a 3.0 video last year and it is even more advanced with 3 more talking skulls, glow sticks for the skeleton.
up for one day DOWN at night?..BRuh..I start Halloween in late September, and just switch over to Xmas monsters mid November..and then onto Valentines day inflatables, and MArch hairs ..I keep this shit going for 4 months or so..All that work for that little time up???...fuggetabout it!!!
It is just a servo attached to the neck with some linkage. I used a 20kg servo if that helps. I modified it more that Halloween and have that video up as well. Any questions just ask.
Awesome!, I love what you did with rotating the elbow and having the finger point, much better than it was out of the box
More mods coming for the 12 footer.
This is absolutely amazing! Wish I could see this in person!
Thanks, his arms should move this year if all goes as planned.
Saw a similar one here in Mesa AZ. Thought it was purchased that way.
No, you have to modify it. There is a 10ft skeleton from Costco that talks and moves.

@@Industen Awesome. Thanks bro
Where u from?
How would u like to do mine?
God damn that's awesome. A little late for this year but this is pretty sweet.
Thanks. I will have a 3.0 version this year...stay tuned.
I got the 2022 model it comes with the option battery or plug in...
Yes, the 2021 version didn’t.

I programmed a DMX lighting routine for the strobes/fade etc. The fog machine is a Fury Jett upfiring which is also DMX controlled

Is there a way to change the eyes! Love the option but wish we could make it way more evil
I guess you could just leave them off. It does offer a bit more of an evil look.
Would you be willing to be hired to modify another one?
Sorry. I am very busy with my 2023 projects. I do wish you good luck however.
Hi I have one skeleton can u convert mine and how much it will cost including the audio to make a show? How can I contact u?

Did you heat up the fingers to move into a different position?
Yes, it takes a lot of heat.

This year will be different for sure!
I came here just to see some insight on the neck movement…

It's impossible for a skeleton to blink if they don't have eyelids/skin. ;-)
Haha this is so true.
