    Did you see the difference?

      No :)
But I can relate to what you describe from own experience.
Actually I think it is nearly impossible to pinpoint the difference with moving pictures. Perhaps easier if you showed a couple static zoomed frames to compare.

@@vprwave Yeah I think that makes sense!

There's a local band that plays at my friends restaurant and they go all out with fog and lights and everything. They're really good band. But long story short, I went there last Halloween and shot them using the Canon EOS R.. in low-light that camera really really struggled and I got a lot of images that were so granny I just turn them to black-and-white to make them look grittier. I got my R5 about 4 days ago and one of the first things I wanted to do was go back and check this band out because they were playing and do some of the same shots because it's the same stage and same setup a year later using this camera. I was shooting ISO 6000, ISO 10,000, and ISO 12800! And to be honest all the images came out! I ran a little noise reduction in Lightroom and got some great great shots! This camera has turned out to be a phenomenal tool

Could you please advise me for the best settings to film northern lights with R5 ?

I would do is 6400 or 12000 lowest aputure on the lens like 1.4 and shutter speed 1/50 if shooting 24fps

Love the video. I’m new to canon, can you share the log profile and exposure setting?

For photographic features I would not ever want to shoot 12 megapixels. I'll take the 45 megapixels and have a little less low-light cuz I'm not shooting at a hundred thousand ISO

Grate videos. I’ve never used a camera with good low light capability’s before but think they look cool and gives you more detail in the dark instead of flooding it with light. That might not make sentence but still.😂😂

So does this mean the R6 is better at low light then R5?
