You clearly know a lot, and I learned a couple of useful things - nice one, cheers. But as a complete beginner, for me, you move too fast and assume too much prior knowledge.
[Undo Limit] If you use the arrow keys to move objects around, or if you use the stamp tool to refine large areas, don't set the undo limit to 50 or 100, but rather to 500 or even 1000 (if your computer can handle it, of course).
Would love to have a video on how to call another program (transfer photo being edited in Affinity Photo to another program like Smart Photo Editor). I can easily do this in ACDSee Ultimate 2024. So far can't find such a feature in Affinity Photo.

Great video! Have a question I haven’t bought the product yet. What hat 🧢 want to do it take a image and convert into something that I can get cut lines out of to make on my vinyl cutter so if I take a picture need to make it to a cut path for my cutter. Is this possible with this program?

On my windows version of Affinity photo 2, I don't seem to have preferences, edit setting.
me either. in fact many of the suggested settings didn't seem to match up. Different version? Different reality? lol
I have found edit settings under the edit menu. There are a lot of adjustments that can be made here. I am using windows 10 don't know if that makes a difference.
Thank you for the tutorial ! I've purchased Infinity 2 in December 2023 but I can't find preferences under the Edit tab for the life of me ! Please help !!
Affinity Photo menu > Settings
Correction: The behaviour of adjustment layers has now changed. It no longer automatically nests under the active layer, as is the case at 9:30
Now, the adjustment is added directly above the selected layer, or at the top of the stack if no layer was selected.
