    I wish me and my opponents were good enough to play Tekken like this. I'm learning (played Tekken 1,2,3 and 5 a lot but only just got into T7) and I try to play like intermediate players do, tech traps and mental frames, poking and space control (proper Tekken) etc but opponents at my rank just spam with Alisa/other cheap characters and I get blown up haha. I'll get there eventually. Great guide though

    Amazing vid on poking close range. What moves do you poke with mid range? I know hatchet moves slightly forward and 3+4 has good reach but linear. And back dashing after they poke to create whiffs but I think you already have a video on that. Thanks for all the tutorials

    • @tytk
      @tytk  9 месяцев назад +1

      They wouldn’t really be defined as pokes typically, since they’re slow, but the mid range moves to go for are usually 3+4, ff4 b1 etc. I also like keepout df1 and db2

    Man, i'm always impressed when i see you move around so fast and fluently. Like, i can KBD and dash block and side step, but i struggle to weave everything together while still being fast and having clean inputs :D Do you happen to have any tips on how to get there?

    • @tytk
      @tytk  9 месяцев назад +2

      movement fluidity is definitely hard, but it’s important to remember that every movement option can be cancelled with another movement option, so i just like to warm up by moving around the screen with different movement cancels. practicing that might help you!

    Disclaimer: im a red rank semi casual bryan,but i do get realy into it when a good match happens online,like lee,dragunov,mishimas,steve,armor king,...
    heres my best advice for low level to intermediate bryans out there,the moment you cant use snake edge is when you start playing the game for real,the moment your dick jabs start geting hopkicked or low parried is when you can start having fun with the real mind games,and finaly once someone can duck and launch bryans df2,1 i know im in a real good match where single buttons into nothing will be most of what i do,not even fishing for counter hits so much as looking to stay safe and get either a float combo(hiting airborne oponents),or sidesteps into punish,or i just take a small lifelead and then run away doing kbd like a madman into some sidewalking,just to see how each oponent reacts,or just doing back 1 into backdash,back 1 into sidestep usualy makes people relax,its like im giving up my frames but im not,as now they dont want to challenge with fast moves,they want to catch me backdashing or steping,
    this may all be wrong i kinda formed this style playing a yoshimitsu offline for years,so after back 1 im tehnicly at 0 as my jab will trade flash for a launch,so when i give my advantage away yoshi stops flashing and will go for slower moves,like his df1,or homing moves,lows even,so i give away my frames but i get so much more than that from my oponents reactions.
