I actually really struggle to play neutral with Bryan, so I really appreciate the lesson
thank you :)
What is neutral?
legit your vids took me from ryujin to tekken god in a couple of months, idk if anyone else is making content about high level tekken like this where it covers the actual mindset and decisionmaking required
Congrats on the rank, bro! I’m glad my videos can be helpful :)
Super underrated tutorial, poking def not talked enough when learning tekken 💯
This is a very good video. Mental frame advantage isn't something discussed heavily at an intermediate level (By Intermediate players).
love that this is geared towards bryan, but this is a really good video on poking in general. thank ty
It works! I finally made it to purple thanks to this, I like to play aggressive but someone that knows Bryan can easily figure me out but with this I could find more open spots
Congrats, bro!
Idk how to thank you mate. Seriously. Too high rn but high brain understands that this needs to be appreciated much more.
Good tips man, I've never heard that term before - Mental Frame Advantage, but it's so true.
I wish me and my opponents were good enough to play Tekken like this. I'm learning (played Tekken 1,2,3 and 5 a lot but only just got into T7) and I try to play like intermediate players do, tech traps and mental frames, poking and space control (proper Tekken) etc but opponents at my rank just spam with Alisa/other cheap characters and I get blown up haha. I'll get there eventually. Great guide though
If they're spamming, counter hit they're ass. Learn the frame traps and make them pay
You can whiff punish too with df41, jet upper, qcb24, ff4
Im not even a bryan player and i learned a lot from this thanks
glad it was helpful 😊
Thanks for this guide man! Useful for an intermediate young Bryan
Oh shoot didn’t expect that you will make a tutorial about this one.
Thanks man for this vid. Really appreciated.
As a scrub Bry player I needed this, thank you Ty! ❤
Great stuff man! This also translates to Tekken 8 very well, for any newcomers interested
THANK YOU FOR THIS (ps you forgot to mention snake Edge for a low poke)
snake edges arent a low poke. its a risky launcher
@@jinbo5867 i know I was joking lol
@@Misterdragon_moby oh okay sorry
@@jinbo5867 na bro its cool its hard to tell when someone is joking online
lol
WOW! I learned so much by watching this video! Thanks for the tips and tricks for playing Bryan Fury in Tekken 7! :D
glad it helped you! :)
Amazing guide, Ty! Looking forward to your t8 bryan crash course.
thank god ty is alive!
I don't really play T7 online but will keep this in mind for T8, good video :)
you made that video exaclty after i found yuor twitch and exactly when i realised that pokes are my biggest problem
we are in the matrix o_o
Ty back with the Bryan content. Thank u!
Hope it helps you :)
Oh god a video ive been searching for
Good video, I really needed this. Keep this stuff coming
Youre sounding really good here man great work. I remember learning that df2 into f3 years ago from you.
Ty and PhiDX collab when?
Wonderful explanation ❤️❤️
Ayyeee its lit quality content, thanks for sharing dood
My brian is weak on neutral so this helps so much
thanks for uploading this ! shout outs from north africa unknown
unknownnnnn my boy! looking forward to seeing you do damage in tekken i 8 😎
@@tytk 🥰🥰will definitely do
Hopefully I can carry this knowledge over to Tekken 8. Thx bro
Very good video
Would love a tekken 8 Version on this topic !
Amazing vid on poking close range. What moves do you poke with mid range? I know hatchet moves slightly forward and 3+4 has good reach but linear. And back dashing after they poke to create whiffs but I think you already have a video on that. Thanks for all the tutorials
They wouldn’t really be defined as pokes typically, since they’re slow, but the mid range moves to go for are usually 3+4, ff4 b1 etc. I also like keepout df1 and db2
Great video! 7 years late though😂
there are always new players
Man, i'm always impressed when i see you move around so fast and fluently. Like, i can KBD and dash block and side step, but i struggle to weave everything together while still being fast and having clean inputs :D Do you happen to have any tips on how to get there?
movement fluidity is definitely hard, but it’s important to remember that every movement option can be cancelled with another movement option, so i just like to warm up by moving around the screen with different movement cancels. practicing that might help you!
It's really usefull thank you ty ❤
Love Bryan fury one of my mains 💪
I needed this, thank you
Absolutely the info I needed.
Great fkin video man.
This video being made in 2023 made me cry tears of joy and laughter
Also checking with QCB+2 and confirming into 4 and soccer kick if it hits
Worth mentioning - d2, df2, df1 are hit confirmable which makes them much more efficient in using with timing. Qcb2 is also worth mentioning imo
good stuff. any input on low to high level Bryan flow charts?
like defending against them or offensive stuff for yourself?
@@tytk the former. like what are common bryan flowcharts, set ups, and tech traps to look out for from lower to higher levels of play? what really gives him a hard time in a match up
Disclaimer: im a red rank semi casual bryan, but i do get realy into it when a good match happens online, like lee, dragunov, mishimas, steve, armor king,...
heres my best advice for low level to intermediate bryans out there, the moment you cant use snake edge is when you start playing the game for real, the moment your dick jabs start geting hopkicked or low parried is when you can start having fun with the real mind games, and finaly once someone can duck and launch bryans df2,1 i know im in a real good match where single buttons into nothing will be most of what i do,not even fishing for counter hits so much as looking to stay safe and get either a float combo(hiting airborne oponents),or sidesteps into punish,or i just take a small lifelead and then run away doing kbd like a madman into some sidewalking, just to see how each oponent reacts,or just doing back 1 into backdash, back 1 into sidestep usualy makes people relax, its like im giving up my frames but im not,as now they dont want to challenge with fast moves, they want to catch me backdashing or steping,
this may all be wrong i kinda formed this style playing a yoshimitsu offline for years,so after back 1 im tehnicly at 0 as my jab will trade flash for a launch,so when i give my advantage away yoshi stops flashing and will go for slower moves, like his df1,or homing moves, lows even,so i give away my frames but i get so much more than that from my oponents reactions.
bryans jab feels so bad coming from drag
This is gold, thx man
Just want to ask. If you are starting to learn these pressure pokes, it might be a must to learn KBD and taunt forward right?
youre going to have to learn kbd at some point anyway, so you might as well get it out of the way early. tauntdashing isnt necessary
@@tytk but it's hard to kbd 😭. Cant find a better tutorial
Conditioning only works on good players btw all you green rank fellas just run a train with his delayed jab string and f3 into jab its zero on block so you gonna get them every time with your 121
I wonder how this video will translate into Tekken 8 as some strings now transition into backsway.
I wish you do another video for Steve
wow, bro explains obviously things, what next? how to up TGP with Noctis?)
Have you done this for Tekken 8?
AM i stupid, but how useful is a db+3 into FC/db1+2 ?Is this just a gimmick or am i onto something.
He's poking game is definitely not a top tier , but you can always use: d2,db2,db3,df1,df2,1+2,qcb2,b1
Most nerd Bryan smh good stuff
Does this all still apply to T8
Yes!
If it misses, it’s considered a bait
1,2,3 shouldn't be recommendend bc it can be low parried, 1,2,1 works better for fishing CH
by that same logic, i shouldn’t recommend 121 either because it can be punch parried. i do 123 all the time on high level players
😕 *Promo sm*
Man Bryan players have to think so much. Play Josie and turn your brain off hahaha
Hes a terribly designed character
