The Saw film series is more than just a horror film. It gives a deeper insight into the human psyche. The story is gripping and many things are discussed. I highly recommend that you watch them all in order. You won't regret it.
The whole gimmick of Saw is putting someone in an impossible position and forcing them to make a choice between doing something horrible that they will have to live with for the rest of their lives, or give up and die right there. There's a logic behind the madness, and the killer has a point. People take their lives for granted, throwing away great lives over something completely trivial and stupid. That's why the first girl, Amanda, said that he helped her. She was traumatized but also freed. Pretty symbolic when you think about it. The only people who continue living are the ones that can learn how to carry trauma with them and still move forward.
Tobin Bell has an amazing horror voice and when I was a child we had a Halloween wreath with a bat that laughed like the doll on the tricycle when you walked passed it.
Some answers: No, Gordon didn't cheat on his wife. He was going to with that girl(who was an intern at the hospital, as you can see), but he realized he couldn't go through with it and that he loved Allison and Diana. He even said to her before Zepp fought back that she had always been enough for him.
maybe they never had sex but he 100% was cheating on his wife. his Alibi was that he was seeing someone. that took place 5 months ago. when he finally calls it off it's the same day that he's captured
@@bilalrashad6636 He was too workaholic and absentee from his wife and daughter, which is most likely why he was a target. Still, I always felt bad for Adam, whose only exit from the game seemed to be death. Gordon has to kill him, Adam lost the key down the tub(the later films say something about it, but still feels a little meh) and if Gordon fails, Zepp has to kill him. Lol, no way out for Adam(and his saw broke, so...I dunno). Yeah, his job is a dirty one, but being left to starve and die of thirst for taking photos of cheaters seems a teeny bit excessive. Maybe they were still finding Jigsaws voice in this one...
Hey there. First off, your makeup is especially on point here! This was a fun reaction, but I do want to point out one of the reasons a cop can't just shoot a perp in the leg is that you can't really do that and assume they'll survive. Movies portray that as a kind of freebie shot that's safe to immobilize someone, but it's actually a potentially fatal wound. There's a major vessel that runs down the leg, and even just nicking it can cause you to bleed out within a few minutes. Oh, and your face when Jigsaw rose from the floor was priceless. Watching people's brains melt at the ending is the best part of a "Saw" reaction in my opinion. ;)
SAW ( 2004 ) : Main Protagonist : Doctor. Lawrence Gordon ( Status : Alive ), Main Antagonist : Jigsaw A.K.A. John Kramer ( Status : Alive ) NOVEMBER 16, 2024
Stef, I work in law enforcement. No unfortunately they couldn’t just shoot him at the moment. They needed him alive to get information to free the hostage he currently had, and they would have needed to charge him and convict him in court to free up the other suspects and persons of interest that they had. Not mention that until he pulled the spring loaded knife he had, he was unarmed, which prompted Detective Sing to open fire since he attacked an officer, brandished a weapon, and proved to be a threat at that time. Unfortunately, even if the detectives made it out alive and took him into custody, Jigsaw would walk free since the senior detective, Detective Tapp, DID NOT follow police protocol and obtain a search warrant to enter that building. No evidence they gathered would have been admissible in court and the circumstances would have been thrown out since the detectives had no right to be there at the time. It sucks, but that’s how we have to work. Law enforcement has to follow by the book rules to ensure a case goes through court without any issues and their suspect can be convicted, charged, and sentenced.
Thank you for covering this. I like her, and her videos are generally fun to watch, but her attitude here was a tad arrogant for someone who has no actual knowledge of what she was talking about. I'm not a cop, but I am a writer who has done some research on the subject, and I imagine shooting a suspect who is in a submissive position would be problematic later. And though I'm not a cop, I have worked in medicine. The idea that getting shot in the leg is an automatic freebie is such movie-logic. There's a major vessel that runs down the leg, and even just nicking that sucker can cause you to bleed out within minutes. I'm not trying to be hateful here, because like I said I do like her, she was just speaking with authority on subjects she does not have a solid knowledge base in. It's a trap we all fall into sometimes. Humans gonna human, and all of that. Hello Stef!😊 I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed at the same time when I entered the military. Two of them were partially impacted and grew in under the gums on an angle, which caused my other teeth to be pushed close together. If your dentist says you don't have the room for all four of your wisdom teeth, I recommend getting them all removed together. They packed the areas with cotton packing after the surgery. The healing was pretty quick. I actually went out drinking the same night with a big straw.🍷🍸🥤 I think the word you were thinking of was "Warrant". The twist at the end is crazy!🤯 The sequels are good, but they do get gorier, trying to outdo themselves.😉 So, be prepared. There is some prequel info shown eventually. With the exception of Saw 4 and Spiral, the other films are excellent. I marathoned them earlier this year & I can truly say that Saw is now my second favorite horror franchise behind Halloween. Yeah. When life is not guaranteed (John has terminal cancer) it makes it easier to appreciate the life he has, and he encourages this in his subjects, to some pretty drastic extremes.
No, I think Dr. Gordon really did love his family - that, while yes, he was GOING to have a affair... Even though he never did - he might have been one of few rare people driven to adultery because of the stress of his job or because he was afraid he would lose his family to his work.
Watch all of them, at least until the 7th one, the overarching story throughout them is great with many more great twists and turns, limbs & story wise.
Well technically John doesn't murder anyone he would be more likely to recieve a kidnapping charge if anything. Also you won't get any answers unless you continue the series
Kidnapping (x6), conspiracy to commit torture (x6), attemped murder (x2), resisting arrest, conspiracy to commit murder (x2), felony murder (x5), desecration of human remains (x2), obstruction of justice (by planting the pen) and criminal coercion were the crimes I could count from this movie alone, so that's more than just a "kidnapping charge" tbh
I highly recommend you watch the sequel if you enjoyed this one. Part 2 is my favorite 😁. Also, I advise not shooting anyone in the leg if you don't want to unalive them 😅. You have giant arteries all through your leg/arms and probably will bleed out in a few minutes. I blame Hollywood for that myth lol.
Get your wisdom teeth out as early as possible. If you wait until it hurts a lot it will more than likely hurt a lot more after you get them out. I waited until I had to be rushed to an oral surgeon and in the words of the surgeon a few days after they were removed, 'Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong'.
My favorite series ever. Saw (lol) first 5 in theaters. In case nit know 1 thru 7 are one continuous arc. 8 and 9 attempts at reboot and X is between 1 and 2
lol I am 100% certain law enforcement cannot shoot you in the leg while detaining you. I don't know what it is about Saw but I love everyone's reactions to that first contact with him. almost everyone says just shoot him. a supposedly defenseless man, on his knees, with his hands up. I'm not in law enforcement but I do believe when he finally does shoot him he is justified. at that point he is fleeing and there is belief that letting him go would cause harm to others. not to mention he recently attacked another officer. too bad nothing would hold up in court.
Keep watching the saw serie. Main story ends in 7th saw movie. Every movie end will give you goose bumbs. After 7th movie they are exist for make money from "Saw" name. Saw frachise is a twister of twist movies.
tbf the cops or the mom not shooting makes sense. Most people don't automatically shoot at everything and everyone 😅only american police does that🙂 Also shooting someone in the leg or arm can actually kill them, it's a movie myth that it's just a scratch or a flesh wound 😅
i honestly would love a Outer banks reaction. its an entertaining show. Or like Marvels The punisher. or just continue the MCU movies. Endgame isnt the last one
Stef, I would just enjoy the movie. Don’t try to read too much into it, especially the first one. There is a reason that SAW is a 10 film franchise with more on the way. Questions don’t get answered until future films, It’s a long connected overarching story. You would have to watch them all to figure everybody out and figure Jigsaw himself out.
Sorry about your wisdom teeth. When I was 19 I needed all 4 wisdom teeth and a tooth next to one of my wisdom tooth had to be pulled as well. So I had 5 teeth pulled in one afternoon. I guess it’s fitting because you’re watching this movie 😅😅😅 hope everything goes well 🫡🫡🫡🫡
I honestly don't blame the detective for not removing John's hood. He had him at gun point and the more pressing matter was ensuring the safety of the civilian. =3
I love your videos but I do suggest to sit back and enjoy the films instead of trying to figure out everything throughout the film. Cos then you miss out on the beauty of the films. Enjoy them!

You had nothing better to do than watch the movie and tally up everything he did do? Well whatever floats your boat
8 and 9 attempts at reboot and X is between 1 and 2
31:19 awwwwwwww those were some bad words lol
It’s so cute and genuine when she switches to spanish when she get’s upset or scared 😂
He had intentions to cheat on her but when he got the call it spooked him so he left and didn’t go through with it.
lol I am 100% certain law enforcement cannot shoot you in the leg while detaining you.
Ahhh man this was great we need the rest 😂🤣
"Shoot him in the leg, SHOOT him in the LEEG!!!" - That was me watching this first time 😂
The sequels do get a little redundant/repetitive, but I enjoyed them nonetheless... The traps are just so damn cool. :)
If you can watch the rest of them, and definitely watch the Unrated versions, those are the best.
If you watch the rest you will understand his logic.
Wouldn't be a horror film if they didn't make bad decisions. And they should have gotten a Warrent is the word you were trying to think of
Sleeping with the lights on keeps evil away and keeps sleep paralysis at bay.
Keep watching in release order. Please.
i honestly would love a Outer banks reaction. its an entertaining show. Or like Marvels The punisher. or just continue the MCU movies. Endgame isnt the last one
It's the way you eyebrows and forehead scrunch up when you are concentrating, it's the same as when most people are confused.
"enjoyed" was not the term I used personally hahaha. Bu I like your reaction
Does anyone know if she has already said whether she will continue with the MARVEL films? And if she will watch the DC films afterwards?
Saw 1 is awesome. I definitely liked Saw 2, but Saw 3 and onward is when I kinda dropped off
Just dialed dafuuuuhhhhhhhhh in 👀
Watch them in order to understand everything they will take you back to explain during different movies
I guess it’s fitting because you’re watching this movie 😅😅😅 hope everything goes well 🫡🫡🫡🫡
Yes please watch Saw 2!! It's just as good..
i personally think, saw should been just one movie… but i get why they made so many lol.
Please continue the rest of the franchise
yes please watch saw x after all of the other ones there’s a lot of details in the movie that concludes from movies 1-7
I honestly don't blame the detective for not removing John's hood. He had him at gun point and the more pressing matter was ensuring the safety of the civilian. =3
phase 3 isn't finished yet! far from home is next! don't forget bout ur mcu fans
Heyy stef, love your reactions❤. Plz continue with the marvel, there are some great movies and series 😩 and don't listen to the haters
Try to avoid removing your wisdom tooth. They are connected to heart and lungs
The mom stabbed the bad guy with scissors during the fight guess you missed it
"Enjoyed" 😬 well I'm a little scared of Stef now 🥴😅
I love your videos but I do suggest to sit back and enjoy the films instead of trying to figure out everything throughout the film. Cos then you miss out on the beauty of the films. Enjoy them!
