Yes!!! new video !!! Like without looking !!! Really like!!! (I myself do not know how, but someday I will learn how to have a desire but there is no possibility .. until))) Success and prosperity !!! Okay, I’ll go to the end of the search)))
Love the channel keep it up and can u do a like a how to get started as a blacksmith because I’m a Scottish teen and really like blacksmithing and have no idea how to get started
Save your money for a anvil and you can use cross/ball peen hammer and for tongs vise grips work well for the forge if you have a mig welder buy metal parts and a forge blower and weld all of the forge together
@@colinperkins8794 ive got a very thick tie plate from a railway track that i bought for £5 and ive got 16 large hammers all different styles but i just cant get the metal hot enough even though i have a Stihl BG86 Leaf Blower
Could you show this vise more exactly on the next video? Because I have similar and how I will restore them, I want to see how it looks in the original parts because mine is repaired several times. Ps. nice job ;)
I would love to buy this from you. I'm a cook and would be honored to use this knife... Keep up the great work. I'm always looking forward to your videos.
Hey how long would you say O2 keeps it's hair popping sharpness before losing the ability to shave, with daily use on that type of edge you did? I've never used O2 myself.
I haven't had much of chance to test it yet. Considering it's not that far away from a simple carbon steel it should probably have similar edge retention.
11.14: why not drill the holes before hardening? Did you like the O2? My experience with a coalfire is it warms-up slow and suddenly it's white hot. I prefer to heaten it up with a gasforge.
That's a nice looking knife. I would buy that if I saw it in a kitchen store. Now for the barrage of questions: (sorry) What kind of wood is that? It's a nice colour. I don't understand what you mean about letting the steel soak for quenching. Can you please explain? And How is do the pins help hold the handle together because nails and screws have fatter ends to pinc it together but they are the same diameter? Or is it just the glue?
The wood is Jatoba. Letting the steel stay at the same temperature for 5-10 minutes in the forge. pins make more surface area for the glue and securing it horizontally. Thank you!
Nice looking knife but there seems to be many scratches on the blade that seem to be from a lazy hand sanding job. I only use O2 steel for my knives except when I want a hamon. My experience is that you shouldn't forge O2 at all under 700 degrees celsius because it start to crack. I've have seen O2 air harden so that is one thing you should keep in you mind when forging. Keep up the good work man!
Can you try your hand at making a barrel at some point. It would be super interesting and there aren't any or very few videos showing an extent of how to make one
I’m in desperate need of a small to medium like right in the mince size kind of knife I work at Bella collina if ur interested in making a knife for me I’ll pay what ever it is for a super nice knife with a wooden handle but I want the top not to be flat of the handle part
Anyone notice the ruler he has written/tattooed on his arm now that's some dedication to your craft
Here from 374 Subs. The quality has been the same ever since the start, and youve kept the consistency. Nice Job.
Thanks man, appreciate it :)
@@MakeNCreate Thanks to u and keep it up
I really Like the look of the handle. Nice work 👍👌

Super clean forging. Beautiful knife, I think it came out very well!
I try my best to get as close to the final profile as possible when forging :) thank you very much mate!

One quest
What kind of Steel is this??
I'm brazilian, and i have never seen it before!
Where did you get your touchmark? Did you make it or buy it because I am looking to buy one but don't know where to get one custom made
Made It myself. Watch the video :)
@@MakeNCreate cool thanks for confirming! :)
Good job
What iind of coel are u using
Good work
Just like Weta :$ love your crafts
Damn this guys a good smith
Great work!!!
What oil do you use?
did you use some type of etching solution to darken the logo you engraved?
It's dark from the forge scale so no he did not
Freakin awesome men, keep it up!
Great work and how long time it takes
About 1 week
with filming around 6 days. Could do it without in 3. Thank you!

Thank you!
Would it be better to do the metal finishing while the blade is annealed and harden it afterward?
What sort of finishing?
Superb
11.14: why not drill the holes before hardening? Did you like the O2? My experience with a coalfire is it warms-up slow and suddenly it's white hot. I prefer to heaten it up with a gasforge.
I didn't harden the tang so It wasn't necessary. I love the steel so far. Zero problems so far.
Honest question, is that actually a ruler tattooed on your arm?
Yep, practical thing for a craftsman.
Yes it is!
Absolute genius
hey dude what stone is that? thanks
Ohishi 1000/3000
@@MakeNCreate thanks😄
The band of your bandgrinder just laying on top of the flowers guess your parents will not be happy with that :D
The oven heat is what for?
Tempering the steel after hardening. Removes some of the hardness to the knife doesn't break during use, makes it less brittle.
How long do you think this took?
This Is Nice
Where do you get your coal from?
Awesome ! Next time you could try a hamon =D
Wow 👍
You should put the bucket of water under the grinding belt so all the little bits and flakes of metal can be thrown out easily.
The riddle of steel.
Do you sell your knives? I would love to have a one of kind piece like this.
I do! I currently don't have chef knives on my website but I'll start production soon again. Here it is: makencreate.net
Nice knife and nice video
Subbed to u for ever
Appreciate it!
Love ur vids N is this for your new house? I would think bc if you can make it why buy it
Why buy it? Oh gee idk. Cause it’ll save 6 or 7 hours of work? (Give or take).
Yes it is :)
you should make a Cutlass
That's a nice looking knife. I would buy that if I saw it in a kitchen store.

Slowly but surely. The whole space is cleared out the floor is currently in the process of getting made!
