I HATED the way Kishimoto did Konan. To me this was the saddest death. Not only did he give her a brutal death but she was completely forgotten. Say what you want about talk no jutsu but i think it’s really cool how Naruto has relatable villians, most of the antagonists in this series have redeemable qualities and/or a relatable backstory that makes you understand why they ended up that way. with the second episode you can now have a guess on what madara said is true or not, if it's true he gave the rinnegan to nagato because he was from the uzumaki clan, so he had senju power. With the rinnegan and senju he has the power of the rikudo ( for example the statue that took the bijuu ) and be usefull to madara's plan, that's why he called him 3rd rikudo when he found him in the second episode ;)

an awesome fight, made far more awesome due to the surprising but intricate explanation of Dark and Light Style (better translated as Yin and Yang Styles), which sheds light on the entire ninjutsu system in the series, all from a couple of sentences by Madara. Back in Naruto's Wind Rasengan training, he asked Yamato and Kakashi what are Shikamaru's shadow jutsu, healing ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Choji's clan body expansion jutsus. (Yamato and Kakashi refused explaining on grounds it will be "too complicated for him right now" :D). From as early as the second episode of the first Naruto we know that chakra is composed of Physical and Spiritual energies. From Madara's explanation, we learn that Yin (Dark) Style deals with spiritual energy and imagination, and Yang (Light) Style is concerned with physical energy and vitality/life force. He claims the Sage of Six Paths could uniquely use Yin to "create shape out of nothingness", and could use Yang to "breathe life into these forms", and he combined the two to create the Tailed Beasts from the Ten Tails' chakra, imaginary creatures of otherworldly power. Izanagi is apparently a weaker, weaponized application of this same power, turning the user himself into illusion and "recreating" only himself. This explains so much. Right of the bat we can extrapolate Healing Ninjutsu is Yang (Light) Style. Choji's body expansion and Tsunade and Sakura's chakra-enhanced strength are likely to be so as well, all having to do with physical enhancement. It makes much more sense that Tsunade trained herself and Sakura in this style of fighting, they were already both aligned to it from having mastered Healing Ninjutsu. Orochimaru's varied enhancements and amazing recovery seem to place him as a high level Yang user as well. Just as easily we can guess Genjutsu is Yin (Dark) Style, clearly dealing with imagination and spiritual energy. Shikamaru's jutsu is a bit less obvious, but i hazard a guess its also Yin. Ino's clan mind control jutsu, practically a form of Genjutsu, is a less ambiguous example. The Ino-Shka-Cho combo is essentially a partnerships of clans dealing with Yin and Yang ninjutsu styles. But there's so much more. Previous episodes had Madara (ever the info-dumper) tell us the Sage of Six Paths had two sons who each inherited portions of his power. His elder son inherited his "eyes and *spiritual energy*", and his descendants were the Uchiha clan. Whereas the younger son inherited his "strong body and *physical energy*", and his descendants became the Senju clan. Lo and behold, the Sharingan, descended from the eldest son's "eyes and spiritual energy", is adept at countering Genjutsu, which is the spiritually-based Yin Style. Its of no surprise, then, that the Senju we're familiar with have strong vitality and tsunade even mastered healing and strength based ninjutsu. But the Sage wasn't limited to simply using Yin and Yang styles like ordinary shinobi, otherwise any ninja could use Izanagi. No, he could "create form out of nothingness" with Yin and "breathe life" into these forms with Yang. If we go and look for jutsu that create actual life, and not say copy them into temporary clones, the best and possible only example seems to be the First Hokage's Wood Release, the same first hokage descended from the Sage's Yang-gifted younger son. and if we look for creation of "form out of nothingness", not using clones of the user or spewing existing elements, the only jutsu that seems to truly fit the bill is Su'sano, the power given to users of the Mangekyou Sharingan. The same Mangekyou descended from the Sage's elder, Yin-gifted son. In other words, the Sage's two sons each inherited half of his unique Yin and Yang powers, and some of it passed down to their descendants as well. The Sharingan is actually a bloodline that enhances Yin-Style, much like other bloodlines enhance the simpler five elements. And Wood Style is actually a bloodline ability made possible by special Yang powers, and not just a combination of Earth and Water. This helps explains why Wood Release users also have increased physical strength and healing, much like how Sharingan implants strengthen the user's resistance to genjutsu. Tobi even directly stated Danzo implanted The First Hokage, Hashirama Senju's wood style to "increase his physical energy" in order to be able to withstand multiple Sharingan implants. And finally, this helps explain a lot about the Rinnegan. If Wood Style is the result of the Sage's unique Yang enhancing powers, and the Mangekyou Sharingan is his Yin half, the Rinnegan, The Six Path Sage's own eyes, ought to represent a combination of both. The combination of both physical Yang and spiritual Yin energy is the basis of chakra itself, which is why Nagato had so much chakra, to the point of being able to deploy such massive jutsus. The Rinnegan boosts raw chakra tremendously. Lastly, there is one more piece of the puzzle. Wielders of both the Sage's ability to create life and the sage's ability to create form from nothingness are able to tap into the powers of creation itself, called Yin+Yang Style ("Onmyoton"). Much like bloodlines allowing the combination of two elements, only the Sage's bloodline, both the uchiha and senju combined, can combine Yin and Yang into one power. I don't want to spoil much to anyone who didn't watch past this episode of the anime, so putting a big [SPOILER ALERT] Before next reply.
BIG SPOILER ALERT, DONT READ IF YOU DIDNT WATCH PAST THIS EPISODEEEE SERIOUS SPOILER WARNING AGAIN. NO FOR REALS. And that is why Tobi's Yin+Yang release as the Ten Tails Jinchuriki allow for erasure of jutsu and matter, it's basically the powers of creation and unmaking. White and Black Zetsu are also probably a result of Yin+Yang Style, being unique life with form, but created with much less chakra then what created the nine tailed beasts, and are thus much weaker. Related but less clear cut trivia and thoughts: It is also noteworthy Su'sano is described multiple times as hurting the user to merely keep it activated, as if its taxing the user's lifeforce. This could be because it has form, but no life, and must tax the user's own to keep sustaining itself. Orochimaru's defeat by Sasuke within the dimension of his own jutsu can also likely be attributed to Yin and Yang. Sasuke, being an adept Sharingan user, is master of Yin, whereas Orochimaru's body enhancements and healing clearly point to him being adept at Yang, but his defeat by a simple genjutsu by Itachi imply Yin is not his strong suit. The dimension he fights for control with the victims of his body transfer jutsu is very similar to a genjutsu, with the loser of the battle gaining control of the winner. Fighting someone with a sharingan in that manner, and when he was weak and ill, played too much into the Sharingan's Yin-Style strength. Orochimaru basically lost a fight of Genjutsu. Maybe i'll think of more later, made this way too long as is. :D
Konan could've ended the whole Naruto Shippuden series there but because it's called Naruto Shippuden and not Konan Shippuden , she had to die there and Madara successfuly trapped everyone in Infinite Tsukuyomi

Just because Nagato awakened the Rinnegan doesn’t necessarily mean it’s his eyes. It’s not like Sharingan. Ao’s Byakugan was also not inherently his own yet he was able to activate and deactivate it.

Ive heard alot of people shit on Konan when they rank the Akatsuki members in power, But with the proper terrain and planning she can beat almost any other member besides Pain, Itachi, Orochimaru or Tobi, and im a Kisame Fan boy but he would of got fucked up by that paper bomb sea because , that would be a hard counter to him, everyone else would die instantly from that even Hidan or Kakazu, Hidans body would of been completely obliterated from explosions and buried at the bottom of a Sea, Konan was kinda OP
Itachi most likely wouldn't survive. Even if he summoned Susanoo in time, I don't think he'd be able to keep it up for the entire duration. I also don't see Orochimaru surviving complete obliteration unless you count curse marks as him technically being alive.

@Caster Gil Deidara's nano nuke and C-0 is actually OP. Had it been anyone but Sasuke (Tobi and Kakashi could probably avoid it) fighting Deidara, they'd die to these jutsus. Sasuke had to practically pull one of the most plot armour shit in history of Naruto out of his ass to live. Deidara should've single handedly won the war tbh. Not sure why he didn't CONSTANTLY use Nano Nukes or C-0. Probably an oversight by Kishimoto.

Nagato was misdirected by Madara, so we can't really consider him a villain, just an anti-hero. He killed his sensei, but he restored life to the leaf to atone for his last sin... He's understandable and relatable when we learn of his backstory and of Madara's manipulation.
If you've played Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater, remember what the Boss' words to Snake was. The philosophy applies to majority of big villians because the biggest borne villian is the one that has the biggest heart.

He claims the Sage of Six Paths could uniquely use Yin to "create shape out of nothingness", and could use Yang to "breathe life into these forms", and he combined the two to create the Tailed Beasts from the Ten Tails' chakra, imaginary creatures of otherworldly power. Izanagi is apparently a weaker, weaponized application of this same power, turning the user himself into illusion and "recreating" only himself.
This explains so much. Right of the bat we can extrapolate Healing Ninjutsu is Yang (Light) Style. Choji's body expansion and Tsunade and Sakura's chakra-enhanced strength are likely to be so as well, all having to do with physical enhancement. It makes much more sense that Tsunade trained herself and Sakura in this style of fighting, they were already both aligned to it from having mastered Healing Ninjutsu. Orochimaru's varied enhancements and amazing recovery seem to place him as a high level Yang user as well.
Just as easily we can guess Genjutsu is Yin (Dark) Style, clearly dealing with imagination and spiritual energy. Shikamaru's jutsu is a bit less obvious, but i hazard a guess its also Yin. Ino's clan mind control jutsu, practically a form of Genjutsu, is a less ambiguous example. The Ino-Shka-Cho combo is essentially a partnerships of clans dealing with Yin and Yang ninjutsu styles.
But there's so much more. Previous episodes had Madara (ever the info-dumper) tell us the Sage of Six Paths had two sons who each inherited portions of his power. His elder son inherited his "eyes and *spiritual energy*", and his descendants were the Uchiha clan. Whereas the younger son inherited his "strong body and *physical energy*", and his descendants became the Senju clan.
Lo and behold, the Sharingan, descended from the eldest son's "eyes and spiritual energy", is adept at countering Genjutsu, which is the spiritually-based Yin Style. Its of no surprise, then, that the Senju we're familiar with have strong vitality and tsunade even mastered healing and strength based ninjutsu.
But the Sage wasn't limited to simply using Yin and Yang styles like ordinary shinobi, otherwise any ninja could use Izanagi. No, he could "create form out of nothingness" with Yin and "breathe life" into these forms with Yang.
If we go and look for jutsu that create actual life, and not say copy them into temporary clones, the best and possible only example seems to be the First Hokage's Wood Release, the same first hokage descended from the Sage's Yang-gifted younger son.
and if we look for creation of "form out of nothingness", not using clones of the user or spewing existing elements, the only jutsu that seems to truly fit the bill is Su'sano, the power given to users of the Mangekyou Sharingan. The same Mangekyou descended from the Sage's elder, Yin-gifted son.
In other words, the Sage's two sons each inherited half of his unique Yin and Yang powers, and some of it passed down to their descendants as well. The Sharingan is actually a bloodline that enhances Yin-Style, much like other bloodlines enhance the simpler five elements. And Wood Style is actually a bloodline ability made possible by special Yang powers, and not just a combination of Earth and Water.
This helps explains why Wood Release users also have increased physical strength and healing, much like how Sharingan implants strengthen the user's resistance to genjutsu. Tobi even directly stated Danzo implanted The First Hokage, Hashirama Senju's wood style to "increase his physical energy" in order to be able to withstand multiple Sharingan implants.
And finally, this helps explain a lot about the Rinnegan. If Wood Style is the result of the Sage's unique Yang enhancing powers, and the Mangekyou Sharingan is his Yin half, the Rinnegan, The Six Path Sage's own eyes, ought to represent a combination of both. The combination of both physical Yang and spiritual Yin energy is the basis of chakra itself, which is why Nagato had so much chakra, to the point of being able to deploy such massive jutsus. The Rinnegan boosts raw chakra tremendously.
Lastly, there is one more piece of the puzzle. Wielders of both the Sage's ability to create life and the sage's ability to create form from nothingness are able to tap into the powers of creation itself, called Yin+Yang Style ("Onmyoton"). Much like bloodlines allowing the combination of two elements, only the Sage's bloodline, both the uchiha and senju combined, can combine Yin and Yang into one power. And that is why Tobi's Yin+Yang release as the Ten Tails Jinchuriki allow for erasure of jutsu and matter, it's basically the powers of creation and unmaking. White and Black Zetsu are also probably a result of Yin+Yang Style, being unique life with form, but created with much less chakra then what created the nine tailed beasts, and are thus much weaker.
Related but less clear cut trivia and thoughts:
It is also noteworthy Su'sano is described multiple times as hurting the user to merely keep it activated, as if its taxing the user's lifeforce. This could be because it has form, but no life, and must tax the user's own to keep sustaining itself.
Orochimaru's defeat by Sasuke within the dimension of his own jutsu can also likely be attributed to Yin and Yang. Sasuke, being an adept Sharingan user, is master of Yin, whereas Orochimaru's body enhancements and healing clearly point to him being adept at Yang, but his defeat by a simple genjutsu by Itachi imply Yin is not his strong suit. The dimension he fights for control with the victims of his body transfer jutsu is very similar to a genjutsu, with the loser of the battle gaining control of the winner. Fighting someone with a sharingan in that manner, and when he was weak and ill, played too much into the Sharingan's Yin-Style strength. Orochimaru basically lost a fight of Genjutsu.

Ive heard alot of people shit on Konan when they rank the Akatsuki members in power, But with the proper terrain and planning she can beat almost any other member besides Pain, Itachi, Orochimaru or Tobi, and im a Kisame Fan boy but he would of got fucked up by that paper bomb sea because , that would be a hard counter to him, everyone else would die instantly from that even Hidan or Kakazu, Hidans body would of been completely obliterated from explosions and buried at the bottom of a Sea, Konan was kinda OP

Itachi most likely wouldn't survive. Even if he summoned Susanoo in time, I don't think he'd be able to keep it up for the entire duration. I also don't see Orochimaru surviving complete obliteration unless you count curse marks as him technically being alive.

@Caster Gil Deidara's nano nuke and C-0 is actually OP. Had it been anyone but Sasuke (Tobi and Kakashi could probably avoid it) fighting Deidara, they'd die to these jutsus. Sasuke had to practically pull one of the most plot armour shit in history of Naruto out of his ass to live.

Nagato was misdirected by Madara, so we can't really consider him a villain, just an anti-hero. He killed his sensei, but he restored life to the leaf to atone for his last sin... He's understandable and relatable when we learn of his backstory and of Madara's manipulation.
