    Fun fact. Bob Harper, one of the coaches on The Biggest Loser with Jillian Michaels, had a massive heart attack in the gym and was dead before he hit the mats. Luckily there was a defib near by and he's here today. Bob of course was vegan. Bob of course is no longer vegan.

    Hey, I'm Jonathan Griffiths, a 29-year-old with a BSc in Human Nutrition from Bournemouth, Dorset. My journey as an amateur bodybuilder has been unique due to a fused spine from a rugby injury at 14 and my Autism. Despite these hurdles, I've found incredible success on the carnivore diet over the past four years, after other pain relief methods failed. I have since competed twice as a carnivore bodybuilder, with my recent showing on June 2nd 2024 where I placed first against an extremely competitive line-up. I am going to the British finals to try and earn my pro card. Meanwhile, I have had my spine fused in 2022, and various procedures to try and reduce the pain I am in. I am currently primarily a body composition coach in the carnivore community and have helped hundreds of people to reach their goals. The carnivore diet is my only option to try and thrive, and I love it!
    My diet mainly includes beef, salmon, chicken, eggs, cheese, milk, and butter. I avoid fruits, veggies, grains, nuts, seeds, oils, and sugars. I drink water, coffee, and bone broth. No calorie counting here, just focusing on around 300 grams of protein and fat each day for the past 4.5 years.
    In the beginning, I lost 5 pounds and felt a surge in energy, focus, and calmness. I woke up refreshed, with no cravings or GI issues. My workouts stayed strong, with better muscle pumps, vascularity, and faster recovery.
    The diet eased the pain and stiffness in my spine, giving me more freedom and comfort. It reduced my need for medications and improved my autism-related symptoms, like anxiety and mood swings. My social skills and communication also got better.
    Blood tests before and after the diet showed my liver and kidney damage from a virus had healed. My cholesterol was stable, blood pressure improved, and blood sugar levels stayed low. My liver and kidney functions were normal, with no nutrient deficiencies or hormonal issues.
    This diet has been eye-opening, challenging many common dietary beliefs. I've learned that meat is highly nutritious and satisfying, and plants aren't essential or particularly beneficial for me. This is especially relevant given the genetic and metabolic traits seen in people with autism.
    I've stuck to the carnivore diet, with occasional treats like 'Hot Pot' and Korean BBQ, which I can cook myself at restaurants. On my RUclips channel 'Carnivore Muscle,' I share my carnivore lifestyle, training tips, nutritional advice, and recipes, building a community of fellow carnivores and inspiring others to try this way of life.
    I fully recommend the carnivore diet to anyone looking to improve their health, fitness, and well-being, especially fellow bodybuilders and those with spinal conditions or autism. In my view, it's the best way to enhance both body and mind. 💪🥩🚀

Please go to his page. He interviews all of these Drs that show the evidence and he goes to and interviews so many people who have ate like this for years.
      You will be shocked when he interviews this lady rancher who is 82 yrs old and hate ate this way most of her life.
      She looks like a 40 yr old! Not even kidding, she is so muscular and strong, and moves around better than most people in their 20s.
      This way of eating is truly a miracle when really it shouldn't be! It shouldnt be a miracle bcuz it is the way the human body was always MEANT TO BE NOURISHED!!!! It is how our ancestors lived and didnt suffer all these new illnesses we are being plagued by.

My weight went up and down, so I changed to the KETO diet which I did well at first and began to have the same results. Totaling about 12yrs and and lost 35 lbs. I had a lot of inflamation in my body, carpo-tunnel, knee paine, headaches daily, memory loss, bloat, candida, gingivitis, swollen ankles, diabetes, dehydration problems, low body temp, decreased eye sight and depression. But now I weigh 135lbs. Which took about 18 months and I am so happy, I still have some memory loss but I am doing better and my eyes sight has not improved yet, but I am still hopeful. Thankful that I decided to try the carnivore diet and succeeded in making progress.

    Yup... people if you're 40+ or more overweight.. you do need to start out gently..to avoid injury. If you're over 40.. you need to more cautious. Appetite Surpressing is the worst possible route to take.. YOU SHOULD NEVER APPETITE SURPRESS AND THAT INCLUDES NEVER EVER USING APPETITE SURPRESSING CRAP LIKE OZEMPIC. The ONLY WAY to do this is to change your eating behaviour and eat a proper human diet, which does not include the consumption of sugar/high carbs, seed oils, processed foods - end of story.

    Thank you both~ this has inspired me to give true carnivore, beef+water only, a try. I haven't done this. I've fooled around and so i'm not clear on really what would shift. I am super sensitive to many food groups which is why i started to begin with, am 67 and mostly in good health and thankful for that, but the food allergies/reactions, environmental allergies, and difficulty losing this 20 lbs all led me to low carb, keto then this. But to be fair, I have not been purely carnivore... I have decaf w coconut cream, I have sauerkraut with the meat... I have a drink once in awhile... some vegetables and salad when out. Part of me resists the always going to a stricter version of things... honestly I'm tired of it.... but also I know I haven't been strict and so i'm kind of in the wobble without knowing how the stricter pure version of carnivore would impact me. And Btw there lots of studies that the higher your LDL the longer you live. I have hypothyroid and as soon as I start to feel good I will think alright I will go out for chips and salsa with friends or have a latte. My biggest struggle is no one understands. I quit drinking but my friends didn't know. We went out and I am in a great place of being able to dance, be goofy and be myself with out alcohol but they looked at me like I was an alien! Its like they didn't believe me when I said I am happy without it! I just moved to a new small town and making new friends is very difficult. My go to ways of making friends were inviting girls over for wine night, mimosas out in the afternoons, coffee dates, BBQ's. Now when I tell new people I don't drink or only eat meat things just go flat and its like people don't know how to have fun with me if I am not eating and drinking!! How do I overcome this!? Can anyone else relate? I had no idea how intertwined food and Booz was in the social life until I tried to exit that matrix lol even "healthy" people still socialize over lattes and "healthy cookies" lol can anyone give advice please? Or just anyone that can relate? I am a mom of two that also feeds them the same things so I am REALLY a nut haha!

    As a almost life long plant based person, with training and certs in plant based nutrition coaching, unlearning the indoctrination is a long process. But the proof is in how we feel. I should've gone more carnivore and gotten off sugar and starch many years ago, but better late than never. It's still a psychological process though. So many layers and levels there. There's no question our "ancestors" (not "millions" of years, btw. Humans were cultivating lifestock and plant crops from the beginning) ate a lot more animals and fats. I'm getting it. One day at a time.

People tell me I don't eat enough (2 meals a day, lunch and dinner) but I can't imagine eating more than that because I'm full by the end of each of my meals. Going into my 6th month on carnivore and still waiting to lose anything, but I have so much yo-yo dieting, bad "medical advice" (eat less move more), and perimenopause pcos hormone issues and insulin resistance so I'm trying to be patient with a hope that it will happen for me one of these days. 🥴😬

    When people say dairy, I wish they would be more specific. Dairy isn't just one food. And there are different ways to use it. I was able to heal all my health issues by simply adding raw milk to the standard american diet. I brought a quart with me to work every day. It sat in my backpack. And I would have a cup every two hours. So that's five days a week. After work, I had chocolate malts and chocolate chip cookies. That is obviously a very specialized scenario. All I'm saying is that humans can live on raw milk just as easily as steak. It's just that it's consumed in a different way. I love being able to have a couple of strips of bacon in the morning and not get hungry for the rest of the day.

    • @onthatilegenesis8952
      @onthatilegenesis8952 Месяц назад

      I guess like you are saying specialised scenarios. I'm one human who doesn't do well with all dairy, I cannot bring a cup of raw milk close to my mouth, just the smell induces violent vomiting. I don't believe adult humans should be living on the food of the babies of other species. Anyway I'm not a scientist.

    • @rawmilkmike
      @rawmilkmike Месяц назад

      @onthatilegenesis8952
      The key words are, "I don't believe." And you are right, as science is not about belief. If you have cows to eat, why not drink their milk as well? Milk is a complete food, even more so than beef. But that doesn't mean you should live on it, especially if it's processed in any way. If you have cows for milk, why wouldn't you also eat them? Especially when you need to be away from home for extended periods?
      If you have access to and are eating plenty of meat and raw milk is hard to find, there's no reason to worry about drinking milk as long as your children also get plenty of meat.
      I found raw milk 18 years ago when our family lived on cereal chips and soda. And it's been a very slow and arduous transition to carnivore. My results on the raw milk diet were immediate. It has been a blessing for our family.
      It's unfair to make general statements about food groups you don't like, especially considering the marketing and disinformation that lead to our food preferences. If I could, I'd live on chocolate malts, soda, and donuts. I'd eat no meat and only use milk to dunk my Oreos.
      An aversion to dairy is not the same as "not doing well on dairy." How would you know how well you'd feel on dairy if just the smell induces violent vomiting? That's a psychological problem, not a physical intolerance.
      "The food of the babies of other species" is a vegan line. Grass is food for cows. Corn is chicken feed. Humans can't live on that stuff. Actually, chickens don't do well on corn, either. When allowed to roam freely, they will naturally peck and scratch at the ground, searching for insects and small creatures to eat. Again, humans are obligate carnivores. We must have meat, fish, eggs, or dairy. We don't need to eat plants and are much "happier" and healthier when we don't.

Because I was selfish and wouldn't get rid of my green tea, I avoided oxalate dumping. Sally Norton even supports drinking a cup of green tea(or a small amount of something with oxalates) to avoid dumping. Then slowly go off the tea(or other items).

      Stack discounts. You can subscribe and use his code. Keep in mind, each bar is equivalent to a 6-8oz ribeye - in a shelf stable form. It’s a veteran owned very small business. If it’s not for you, no big deal. Ketogenic women and the 2 krazy ketos have great pemmican videos.

      @@AdrianKGledhillHi, I am experiencing tingling/numbness in my arms/hands/feet, along with sinus issues and when you mention that you were dealing with the same thing during your interview, my ears perked up. How do you find out that it was a histamine intolerance? I would love to chat more with you about this, if you have the time. I have been trying to figure out what’s going on - I have been carnivore for about 6 weeks now. Thanks so much.

    Feeling sleepy after eating eggs? That's me! When I have 3 eggs & a turkey burger for breakfast at around 11 am I feel sleepy/ tired until about 2 to 3 in the afternoon when my energy kicks in. My night time meal doesn't do that but instead gives me energy and then I stay up too late. Go figure...eating foods high in melatonin and/ or trytophan are perhaps NOT the best choice for my breakfast meal. I am going to switch that around and see how that goes. Thanks.

      Brother you said you ate turkey burger. Don't eat bread and sugars, that makes you feel sleepy, try to cook

      @@lab_haz I seldom eat bread and avoid all sugar. I tried the beef patties the next morning instead and was not ready to fall asleep after eating.
