I recently found you on you tube think it came up as something I would like because you were bitching about cole the corn star lol I love it. I just watched the no-till video and I am making that switch myself I talk about it in my planter repair video. Love the new shop and the content think we have some things in common I have to take some time to watch some of ur older videos just wanted to say I like ur stuff keep it up! I am wanting my stuff to be farm based but the farm talk and repair videos don't get views just my tool stuff so far
Thank you very much for the kind words! Good luck in your transitioning. There can be some educational moments or as your neighbors will point out failures
I love the new shop. I just built a 32×48×14 with a 14×48 lean-to all enclosed. Need to get the electrical work done and start insulation. I'll be looking forward to watching the work on the steering valve. My 4020 needs to have hers rebuilt. From what I've seen, a reman is $1200 and an aftermarket hydrostatic is $1500. Question is can I rebuild mine without having to source special tools.
I'd be interested in seeing the top shaft work on that 2520. I have a 2520 that grinds sometimes when letting off the clutch when I put it into 7th gear. I read on a forum that it could be the synchros on the top shaft.
Crows feet can definitely be your best friend!!! Shop is coming along nicely 👍 Careful leaving your snacks out like that, you will get some little snack thieves... And they make a mess.. stink too...
ha no. told dad he needs to get "farmall ave, allis chalmers ave and john deere ave" street signs and weld to a post on a rim, so when any color is in the bay it can have its sign!
Thanks, have 3 engines right now with 2 tractors waiting outside. With the interior construction still not done we can't pack the Shop full yet. If I ever get caught up with work then I have some hydraulic pumps SCV valves and water pumps to rebuild to have on hand
Glad to see someone else build a shop that does more then play basketball in it and polish wheels! keep up the good work!
lol thanks. i wanted to build a shop so i could keep tillage equipment warm.....
Shop’s looking good 👍🏻
Great shop Jon. Nice job besides farming. 😉
Thanks! Always need a little off farm income. Much rather work for me vs someone else.
Looking good Jon. Can’t wait for more repair videos 👍
Thanks. Trying to find the balance of making content but not wasting time for content.
@@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 I understand, your trying to make a buck first and for most.
I really enjoy you videos when you work on the older tractors. You should use your drone to get an overhead view
Got another camera ordered. Could set drone on upon a shelf and use it but that camera picks up no sound

I would like to see if dad will make a video with me. We can talk about diagnostic and then I will rebuild steering valve.
It takes forever to get the frame up. But it almost takes longer to get the finish stuff done.

Could be top shaft, does 3,5 and 8th work fine? Could just be the quadrant on the shift housing in the dash is worn?
I will be doing one on the 4430 here this summer. And the bottom shaft as well
That's going to be a nice setup when you're done. I'm ready to come work on tractors.
thanks!
Shop looks great!
Thanks

Nice tractors in the shop! Red vs green, are there ever any fights between the two when you get to the shop in the mornings?
