Storage, transportation, set up and pack away times, possibly easier to learn, costs - a new beginner paraglider is probably cheaper than the equivalent hang glider. These are probably the reasons because purely as a gliding experience the hang glider still reigns supreme in my view.
That's it..This vid is edited from the first 10 minutes or so apart from the landing, hard to get in the best lift whilst trying to circumnavigate all the PG's. Once I got a little bit above it was much easier!

Crowd of paragliders and not too much lift. Got the same on my very first flight at Westbury some three months ago.

It was the 13th; busy but top fun! I thought everyone flew very well together especially when the lift dropped off every so often!
You have so lovely soaring sites all over Britain! Not so in Germany.
Traffic jam in the sky! That would be too busy for my taste.
