Great stuff. When you got Mullin, Hardaway and Richmond on your team, you know the offense is going to be crazy.

Why in the Hell did they trade Richmond away? I'll never know. Unless someone can tell me. I'll answer my own question. I did an internet search.
On the first day of the regular season, Run TMC was broken up when the Warriors traded Mitch Richmond to the Sacramento Kings for 6-foot-9-inch (2.06 m) rookie Billy Owens, whose additional height compared to Richmond was the size that head coach Don Nelson believed would complete the team.[2][3][4] Nelson said he "was under pressure to get [the team] bigger" to improve the Warriors from a good team to a great one.[5] "I’d never make that trade again", Nelson lamented.

The Warriors went 55-27 right after the Richmond trade, far better than any Run TMC season. But obviously it didn't last. Owens had superstar possibilities. A little like Magic Johnson potentially, with great college rebounding numbers, addressing a Warriors size issue. Also Sarunas M. could play Richmond's position very well. Perhaps Owens didn't have drive in the long run, or true 6'9" length.
Also, I think Nelly "altered his mind" a lot.

I was a huge fan at the time and now. It was all about getting bigger. They felt they felt this was a mix of getting a similar level player plus size. He was hyped as a 6'9" point guard like Magic. He was decent for a bit. Bad trade like many those days...and pick and usually for big players.
