Omg it takes me so long for my nails, at least 4 to 5 hours. I did my nieces nails and it took me 6-7 hours! It’s not just you!! And your nails came out amazing!!

I quit nail school because the monomer was literally making me high and I couldn’t function. You’ve given me my love of nails back. Something I learned in school is your thump and pinky nails are the same length and your pointer, middle and ring ringer are the same length. I always remembered that lol badass set!
I think your work is flawless and feel like you’re absolutely ready to move into acrylic if you would like to learn that. You would rock!! Even if setting time is more limited youre pretty good w timing.. and a trick is to remember to not lay too thick.. even then, an E-file evens everything out!

When I started doing nails 5.5 years ago, it took me like 6 hours to do my own nails, and I do acrylic, but want to try polygel since I found your channel because I’m sick of having to go outside to do my nails because of the smell. I’ve gotten my time down to like an hour and a half-2 hours taking my time but it still takes me at least 3 hours to anyone else’s nails. It definitely takes practice to get faster!
I’m the same way when I’m doing my own nails or practice it takes me like an hr - hr and a half but when I work on clients I take 2-4 hrs

These are so pretty!!! I have the same reasons for preferring polygel. Monomer triggers my migraines as well as my anxiety about not having enough time to work with it before it dries.

Amazon is definitely a place to go, but I just started learning how to do my nails and polygel is sooo much better and easy then acrylic to apply.

Fabulous nails take time. I'm also just a girl doing poly gel in her bedroom. My longest time for a set was 12 hours. But even nail pros can take several hours for long sets with lots of art.

I take forever as well and I do dip nails. Acrylic is really hard, you have to work pretty quick if you are doing a design or something like that. I want to try out polygel cause it doesn't cure till it hits the light. That's what Im excited for, cause I like to do crazy things and things that haven't been thought of designs to do to my nails.

I started with acrylic when I was first doing my nails my advice would be to use the modelones slow setting monomer it gives you time to set up the acrylic without drying fast the one thing I will say is that it sets super slow in cold weather so just be mindful of that

Everything you said about acrylics I feel the same omg lol. Poly gel is all I do too. It takes me about the same 3 hours and yeah I hate that it takes a longer time to do. Ugh 😩

There are masks with filters built-in which might help with the acrylic smell. For the room you could get an air filter and run it in the background while using acrylic to reduce the odor. But practice makes better so you just gotta try it and be patient with yourself. You can do it! 😉

Could you do an in depth shaping video? For before application and after? I bought the same tips you use and saviland’s polygel. Im struggling to get a good sharp square shape. I use the same file as you (150/100)

yeah I’m switching to acrylic too 😭 polygel takes so long, acrylic looks so fast and less time consuming which is better for the nail art!

Does it take you 5-8 hours to do one hand or both? Do you do both hands?
Omgggg you saying it takes you like 6 hours to do your nails made me feel sooo much better bc I take 6-7 hours to do my nails too one time it took me 10 hours straight with out taking breaks. That was the longest time and i use acrylic I kinda wanna start using Polly maybe I’ll do better with that 😂

She uses rubbing alcohol as the slip solution. Both the 70% and 90% work great!

I’m the same way I take 3-4 hrs unless it a fill I’ll take like 2-2 and a half hrs I don’t practice as much as I should
