I have a fixed stock Bulgarian AK clone with the milled receiver. It looks correct and shoots better than any AK I have ever shot. Thank you for a great informative presentation
5:24 It is my understanding that a 90 degree gas block will reduce wear on the gas port. Supposedly, with a 45 degree port over time the port becomes enlarged by wear and then the rifle becomes over gassed.
I just traded for one of these. It's in good shape. No box but the finish is near perfect. Serial # ends under 20. Anyone know how old it is and what its approximate value is?
Misha, I distinctly remember the SAS being offered with a different rear sight. Does this come from the factory this way or, is this some custom modification? Also, I realize you have access to which ever so which milled arsenal would you choose if you could only have one?
Misha great video! For years Arsenal Fans have been angered at me for pointing out the differences in Barrel thickness between type 3 MILLED ak-47,s and the AKM style which, I believe the Soviets actually turned down to a thinner profile for the ak-74.
I hope you read this message but I just bought one of the arsenal sas m7 classic and was wondering if I can change the wood grip to something that has oicatiny rail for light attachment and also for a sight rail to mount a red dot?
A year later lol the bottom hand guards on milled are different than the stamped so you’ll have to find one particularly for milled and I think they may have pickattiny or what not but the gas tube should be the same and you can get an ultimack one that you can mount a red dot
ATF measures OAL with stocks fully open/unfolded/extended and not with them closed or at their smallest. If they did, then many, many guns would be under the 26" OAL length. Nope, measured open has been the rule of the land since at least 1980. I say this because the original preban Uzi from IMI is about 24" to 25" when its stock is folded up, and its definitely legal. Arsenal has been selling the SAS M-7 Classic with working folding stock since very late 2004; there are zero legal issues.
a bit off topic, i just picked up a gun that im trying to get some info on but not having much luck, its from what i was told an arsenal usa or global trades usa aks. model # ADM-63-2UF. 7.62x39. are you or anyone here familiar with it? curious to see if its a quality rifle and if i over paid
@@helsindemisquisfolson1461 this is a rifle you keep as is and enjoy it IMO. PLENTY of tacticool new ak's you can do all that extra stuff to suit your needs.
Stick with the made in Bulgaria SAM7s . You get your money's worth with them. I had a US made SAM7 and it was the most inaccurate AK I have ever touched. I don't believe Arsenal USA knows what they are doing. Sorry Misha, love your channel and your videos. Thanks to you I got one of the Bren 2s.
What is the difference? I thought Arsenal USA just did the compliance conversions and all the receivers and barrels are from Arsenal Bulgaria. Are you referring to the SLR series?
There were U.S. made SA M7s ,which were 80% receivers from Bulgaria and then finished by Arsenal USA. They say made in USA on the receiver.80% receivers aren't classified as firearms and Arsenal USA can finish the machining(milled AK) and say they are made in the USA. There are also Bulgarian SAM7s, which are great. The Bulgarian guns usually say Arsenal in the left lightening cut and say they are made in Bulgaria. Here in the last couple years Arsenal is calling the Bulgarian SAM7s==== SLR101. The US made SA M7 are usually very expensive, like over $2000 or much more.
Oops! I take that back. The Bulgarian guns were SLR 101s and now they are called SAM7s. Anyway if you want a very nice AK Get the milled Bulgarian SAM7.
@@DG-pk3fh I know this was 3 years ago, but in the video he says they are all Bulgarian parts except the trigger group and the barrel nut. These are all Bulgarian made parts, but merely assembled in the USA for all intensive purposes....
Finally an in depth video on the SA M-7 CLASSIC not alot of videos on this particular rifle
If I lived next door to Mishaco
Every morning at 8am his doorbell rings
Hey it's me what ya doing today? you going shooting right? LOL
Ray Blackburn that would be a lot of us 😅
Perfect timing. Thanks a lot. And thanks for the mention in the description. I'm really liking the Classic.
I thought the same thing we were just chatting about this "ak 55".

Just shot one today, a very elegant rifle. I immediately noticed the similarities to the type 3.
I just purchased an Arsenal Sam7uf today 👊🏻

As long as the barrel is 16” you can run it without a stock.
Thanks for the videos Misha

You have to shoot a lot for that to happen. Like 20,30,40 thousand rounds. 🤷🏼♂️ Most people won’t even shoot that much rounds through it
Awesome video, you guy rock! Beautiful rifles
Nice 👍 video classic the milled SAM 7 AK’s
I got a sam 7sf sweet shooter.
Do you happen to know what paint finish is on the SAS M-7?
super cool guns I love my arsenal
What about the sa-m7 ? I dont see much about the history on it

What do you think the value of a fixed stock classic is in the current market
Best milled underfolders on the planet, equal quality.

The SAM7-UF does not have a down swept stock like the SAS M-7 classic does,...correct?
Correct, SAM7UF has the modern/current AKMS type stock.
