You got me hooked. Now I've got to watch it all. I recall Ian (forgotten weapons) was talking about the experiences of the Winter War being a huge spur for the Russians liking the submachinegun, too.
I have been interested in military style firearms my whole life. Your videos are very interesting and informative. We appreciate your efforts to inform and entertain. Thank you
I'm new to falling for the AK. But your videos are thr gold standard. How you do these long detailed videos off the top of your head is really something to be admired. Thank you for my education and planning my first AK soon.
Misha, thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. Love your vids. If I lived closer I’d definitely shop in your store. Keep up the great work!
Love the videos. I'm a bit of a history nerd, it would be very cool if possible to get into a little more details about the competitors with the Kalashnikov.
I wonder what Sudayev thinks of his PPSh submachine guns, Tokarev with his SVT-40 and TT-33 pistol, Simonov with his SKS and Kalashnikov with his AK-47??
Misha been watching your videos for a year and still lovin em now! Loved your AK videos, so much great in-depth info that you just don't get to hear on other videos! Keep up the good work from the UK, hopefully our laws change soon so we can have as much fun as you guys in the States lol God bless America!!!
Sorry, I don't own a Margolin. I collect mostly military type guns. I don't have any target .22s. In fact, the only .22 LR I own is the Israeli pilot's AR7. Also have a .22 Short revolver from NAA that was a birthday gift.
Thanks, and since I have no 1st hand experience with the NK AK, I didn't really want to talk about it. Forgotten Weapons has a neat video on it though.
Question for you. I am a braille transcriber who is also an AK collector. I have a VI student who always wanted to fire a real AK. Any advice? I would like to show him the weapon one day. Also, in your opinion, is the AK 74 superior over the AK 47?
Awesome video and just admit Yugoslavian AK is the sexiest just because my country Slovenia was used to be a part of Yugoslavia hahaha and we were never in the Soviet Union just like you said and you were right we weren't the biggest Russian allies what else can I say both thumbs up for me greetings from my beautiful country of Slovenia have a nice day I wish you all the luck
Thank you for watching. Tito was really the only Communist dictator that wasn't setup by Stalin after WWII. He obtained his power mostly on his own, thus Yugoslavia was always a bit apart and a bit more independent compared with other Soviet client states. In a lot of ways, it just did its own thing.
excellent video, thanks for the good info!!! btw you have a nice and well behaved cat, if the cat was a jerk it would have found some way to push the rifles off the table.
Thanks for watching. I think my cats know that if they ever knock over a rifle and damage it, they'd find themselves living the outdoor life within 5 minutes.
I believe Jimmy Streetman from Global Trades from Texas imported screw in receivers in the late 1990s not many a couple hundred before he brought in the new style Bulgarian receivers he also brought in milled 5.56 receivers he turned into milled 5.56 AKs with 74 fsb and compensator. Jimmy and a guy known as Finnbear who was a legend at impoting Russian goods Estonian AK laminate sets and 74 sets and all types of mags you couldn't get back then he was a great guy a shame he passed away he was a good friend I still miss his talks great guy.
I believe Gordon tech was the company that had assembled those guns back then they were the early milled kit guns assembled for Global trades I loved their 3x page photo copy blue paper catalog printed on both side of the paper all types of goodies on that catalog.
Great Video. I heared it while going to sleep. I love the very simple AK deisgn. I pretty mucu love every Russian Weapon. Because they are mostpy built like a Tank and are pretty Reliable.
Man I like that Russian AK! The furniture looks awesome, my favorite color. It looks so bad ass! Iron sights and a sling, period. One of the most beautiful AKs I've seen. You are a walking encyclopedia when it comes to AK's head and shoulders above most of the videos I've seen posted on You Tube. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
One of the best AK content channels. I like that you get to the facts - no silly music, animations, etc. just the good stuff.
Misha, your gun channel is like ASMR (Autonomous sensory meridian response) for gun enthusiasts.
Woodruff You're welcome. Glad that I could help you, brother. Also thanks for the good work, Misha.
I've noticed this as well, not sure what it is.
I watch Misha’s videos to fall asleep almost daily.
You got me hooked. Now I've got to watch it all.
I recall Ian (forgotten weapons) was talking about the experiences of the Winter War being a huge spur for the Russians liking the submachinegun, too.
Is Firing line workmanship quality ??? In your option
not sure what you are referring to (forum, website, fishing archery...)
I have been interested in military style firearms my whole life. Your videos are very interesting and informative. We appreciate your efforts to inform and entertain.

Thank you, and glad you liked the video.

Every day is a great day to talk about AKs.
Agreed
Misha, thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. Love your vids. If I lived closer I’d definitely shop in your store. Keep up the great work!
What a wealth of information you are! Thank you so much!
Long, boring and dry and it never seemed to end... I absolutely loved it. You’re literally an encyclopedia of AK history.
The way should be 😎
Hi Misha. Probably the best AK's review I have seen so far . Thanks!
Thank you much, glad you liked it.
I love how camera man is trying to film cat much as possible 🤣🥰
This man's knowledge is encyclopedic. Really impressive
Excellent information, thank you both for your time !
Love the videos. I'm a bit of a history nerd, it would be very cool if possible to get into a little more details about the competitors with the Kalashnikov.
Excellent as always. I can hardly wait for the next installment. Thank you.
Thank you for watching. Right now the series is up to 5 parts. Not sure if it will go longer or not yet.
Thanks guys. Another great review. These are always very informative. PS. I like that dang ol cat.
Misha, u r a walking encyclopedia of ak s !! Thank you for your videos brother!! And God bless you you and your family!!!
Misha you and J are the best ! Thank you for all your knowledge you share with us
I wonder what Sudayev thinks of his PPSh submachine guns, Tokarev with his SVT-40 and TT-33 pistol, Simonov with his SKS and Kalashnikov with his AK-47??
Probably not much, all dead. So hopefully resting peacefully.

Good to hear about Mike at The Firing Line!
Another great history lesson ! Thanks very much !
Misha is a national treasure.
Exactly
Professor emeritus Misha! I can picture in my mind's eye Misha teaching Russian exchange students at they sit in awe of his knowledge.
Man you have some amazing AK collections really nice videos.
Great history, ASMR and Chairman Cat approved. Who could ask for more?
Great video, Thanks!
Misha pls do a review on a Margolin pistol. I think it might be symbolic for you
Sorry, I don't own a Margolin. I collect mostly military type guns. I don't have any target .22s. In fact, the only .22 LR I own is the Israeli pilot's AR7. Also have a .22 Short revolver from NAA that was a birthday gift.
but the story about Margolin is fascinating IMO If you can get a hold on one of 'em
Thanks for all your knowledge!
Thank you for watching.
So did the Type III still have the screw-in barrel of previous models?
Really cool overview. I think the only country you forgot was the NK Type 58.
Thanks, and since I have no 1st hand experience with the NK AK, I didn't really want to talk about it. Forgotten Weapons has a neat video on it though.
This guy should have way more views.
Very interesting. Thank you.

"starin' down the barr-el of a fooour-tyyyy seven"
What was the reason why milled receivers had a sloped angle to the stock?
Adam It was probably just part of the original design, the change in the AKM stock was to reduce recoil.
Thanks Misha 😀😊👍🏼

Wow that's my B Day Too! 👍👍
Can you review the hmg stg 44?
Almost 2021 and they STILL don't yet exist. Smh
Late 2022 and still nothing from HMG
What do you rate firing line receivers? On durability and longevity?
You need a better camera
Nice collection you have 😎💥💥💥💥💥
I wish I would've bought an SVT40 when they were plentiful and cheap...
Yeah, unfortunately most surplus is like that.
Real fun guns to shoot man... DK if you're in Canadia or not, but I got mine here for 280$Can. It's a loud and fun piece of history to play with =)
Eric Channer $280??? God I hate you !! JK -
Yes Please!!!!!!!
What? more tea?

الله يرزقني هذا الكلاشنكوف لتحرير فلسطين
People like video's because people like to listen to people's voices. You can do other things while watching a video like eating or relaxing in bed.
Personally, I listen to videos while packing guns to go out the next day.
😘😗😍😇
