My friend Hailey from Triumph of Seattle tells me what I missed on my initial review. There's a few things I missed and some things that I didn't even realize were pretty big improvements!

As always good review dude. Shoei definitely a quality lid 👌🏻 and imo gear is always a MUST especially a good quality lid you get what you pay for and this 1400 definitely gets my seal of approval 🤙🏻

Wow that thing is quiet! I bought an Icon (beautiful helmet) but unusable because of bad wind noise. I think I'm gonna go ahead and order this or the GTaier2

Nice video man! The face shield mechanism reminds me of a AGV Pista. I think I might purchase this for riding on my MT! 👍 Hopefully the wind noise is better for vlogging. My X-14 is windy. Not as bad as my Pista but still sucks.

I’m 57 1/2 cm would a medium be too tight? I usually wear a large. Thinking bout getting this helmet….????
do you try it at 150mph? how vertical view when chest is on tank or side view in lane splitting?

The visor mechanism is way better. I’d buy it just for that. Glad I got it, but I still prefer my pista

Naaaah, i have both. Rode with the rf1200 for 5yrs straight. The visor on the 1400 is way better...1 finger click and lock vs the rf1200 that takes more effort. Reminds me of the pista visor. Worlds better after trying to ride the 1200 again.
@@adobomoto I have zero issues with my rf1200 visor is fine no complaints if the 1400 wasnt available its 2nd to none just hype to sell
@@ohlins_5110 definitely not hype. It’s an improved rf1200 and the improvements in the visor are really good. Fit is kinda the same, and maybe the aerodynamics is a little better. But the mechanism in the visor and the wider fov is improved over the 1200. If you haven’t ridden the 1400 it’s easy to say it’s hyped. Because I was like you and thought the same thing. Then I used it for a week and tried to go back to the 1200. Shelved the 1200 for good.

@@adobomoto it doesn't fit the same. I am a medium in the 1200 and had to goto the 1400 large. I could barely fir the 1400 medium on my head.
