    Love the sentiment and really loved our recent trip here. I thought about moving it up due to this, but did not decide to do it. Another great video my friend. I really enjoy your stuff and being subscribed to the channel. I am doing my rounds letting our friends and colleagues here know that we are one step closer to making our dream of driving around the World with a carbon-neutral footprint, and we have changed our channel name to be more marketable for our niche of travel, preservation, and culture. It is a little geeky, but we like it. I hope you enjoy your day and continue to enjoy our content as we try to improve. - Turtle

    Did immigration actually ask you for your travel insurance? The disclaimer at the bottom of the visa said a valid medical insurance, which could mean your country's medical insurance. I am only staying for 20 hours layover. I am wondering if travel insurance is absolutely necessary.

    Which area is better to stay for a first time visitor ?sultanehmat or taksim square?

      Sultanahmet allows you to walk around most tourist attractions and Taksim is fun & lively but they are very close to each other. I liked staying at both places.

      June-Aug is peak season and also the best time in terms of season. But it’s crowded during these months. You could checkout spring and autumn times, they a bit less crowded

      Earthquakes are happened in eastern Turkey near Syrian border. Turkey is a big country Istanbul is very far away

    • @Whatsnextakanksha
      @Whatsnextakanksha  Год назад +1

      It’s fine now. Just keep checking before your trip and the earthquake hit at a particular spot only, not the whole country.

      @@Whatsnextakanksha I was planning for a10 days trip. Very confused to chose which month I should travel with kids. The kids are having summer holidays from 27th July to 5th September and between this time I heard it's very hot and before this kids are getting 9 days holidays from 27th May to 4th June.
      What would you recommend ??

    • @Whatsnextakanksha
      @Whatsnextakanksha  5 месяцев назад

      @@user-ns7vj4tz5h the May-June holidays would be a great time but if you cannot make it then late august and early September is better. July August is pretty hot but nothing unbearable. We used to start our day early and come back to our hotel to rest up in the afternoon then leave again around sunset. So you should be fine.
