This is one of the few songs that really touches me emotionally but haven't been able to play (I couldn't quite do those nice and subtle voicings/harmonies! :D ). Hi! I’ve been wanting to learn Keane “Love Is The End”. Are you able to do a tutorial? I can’t find one anywhere! Thank you for everything you’ve posted, your channel is amazing!
i was looking for a video just like this. I transcribed my own version, and I noticed that you had a few notes that I missed.
For example, the switch to a higher D when you repeat the intro.
However, I do feel like you missed a few things, like the rhythm in the post chorus. The first time, they maintain the same tempo as throughout most of the song, where only the outro bit has a different pattern. And Also, the final chord is not a A, but a A9. But otherwise, this was great. Nice voice too. I will recommend this video to the friend that wanted me to teach him how to play this song, the reason I transcribed the song to begin with, with a few minor changes.

I do have a bit off trouble with the notations of the chords and how they correspond with the played structure. For example: In the intro you suggest to play an Esus4 chord, which should contain the notes E - A - B. However in the tutorial you play A - E - A with an A in the base. What am I doing wrong here? Am I overlooking something or misinterpreting the structure of the supposed chord? I really want to learn how to play with a chords structure written down so I can be able to play on a later moment when I want too. Some explanation would be greatly appreciated.

@@BitesizePiano At 3:17 you suggest to play Esus4 which according to the video is made of the notes A - E - A with an E in the base. To me this chord would be A5 as you played and showcased at the beginning of the video.
As a beginner in reading and learning how to read and construct a chord scheme this seems a bit confusing to me. But then again I am a beginner so it will not suprise me if I am overlooking something or misunderstanding something.

Im really confused because I'm not sure if it's what you said in the beginning that i should write down or if i should write down if you write it all down
Example -
A5 8 times

A5 | A5/G#-D5/G#
I also don't understand what the dashes are about because for me usually i just do the dashes to make a chord so like y'know that e major you demonstrated. I would have done
Right - G#-E-G#
Left - E
The dash is when there is a quicker chord change within a bar.
Write notes down that make sense to you 👍🏻

Any tips on how to use the pedals with this? No pedal doesn’t sound right, but too much pedal and it’s too loud! What do you do?
Rule of thumb is every chord change needs to be refreshed with the pedal (remember to refresh the pedal AS you're holding down the new chord and not just before!)
