A Lindsay here, I so enjoyed visiting the Castle and your video was a wonderful remeberance. If you tell the person at the gate house you are a Lindsay, there is a secret extra place to visit down the road where the village used to be before it was moved due to clearances I think.

I have lovely memories of this place. My nana once turned a barbie into a fairy and hide it in the wall in the courtyard for me to find when I was little ♥️

Thank you once again, S's H. Call me an Auld Romantic, but I cannot look upon these ruins without trying to envisage the people who once looked from the windows into the verdant surroundings (albeit sometimes in worry and fear for their future).

While I totally agree that history should be preserved, I also think it should maybe be left to nature once it has been recorded. 👍
Some should I agree but others should be preserved.
