    Recently discovered this channel. Truly enjoy your content. But this right here has to be the most beautifully cultivated set of Sisterlocks I've ever seen...and sis wears them well. Awesome!!! I'm now at the one year mark, looking forward to continuing this beautiful journey. I love my Sisterlocks.

      lol, Yep people will refer to them as braids because they are so neat. Can't blame them.

    Loved this video. Very encouraging. It's the price for me still with sisterlocs but sis I definitely want them. I've braidlocs currently and it's only been 3 days. I have low density, fine hair.

    • @EnToiBeauty
      @EnToiBeauty  3 года назад

      Glad enjoyed this video. Sis, have you thought about two strand twist locs? or even braidlocs? You can get them just as small and pay a little less.By the time they loc, they will look like sisterlocs. Just a suggestion.

    • @Ms.Purple.Possibilities
      @Ms.Purple.Possibilities 3 года назад +1

      It was the price and rules for me too sis. After a month of researching, I started my own "tiny locs" not as small as sisterlocs or micro locs but not as big as traditional locs. I found my sweet spot 😊 hopefully you find your sweet spot very soon 🌻 many blessings 🌹

    • @EnToiBeauty
      @EnToiBeauty  3 года назад

      @@Ms.Purple.Possibilities exactly, everyone have to find their sweet spot. Anyone can have a beautiful head of Locs and it not be sisterlocks. Glad you figured it out 💛💙

    Love this video!! Very informative , I’m thinking of taking my locs out one by one and doing sister locs, right now I have traditionally locs one year in the journey. Do you have any advice for me? Thank you 🙏🏽

    • @EnToiBeauty
      @EnToiBeauty  3 года назад

      Glad it was helpful! Be patient when taking down locs. Soak the hair with conditioner so it softens it and use a tooth pic or hair pin to pic thru. Start at the very tip a work your way up. Keep a spray bottle handy to keep the hair wet/damp. Once you're completely done combing out your locs, get a trim cause you'll need it. Good luck!

    In full disclosure, I advised my certified sisterlocks loctician I have a scalp issue before my install. I was waiting to get in to see a dermatologist but got the install before my derm appt. I have seborrheic dermatitis as diagnosed by my melanated dermatologist, who prescribed a medicated shampoo and the medicated oil for treatment. I am using the products as prescribed. However, it's my loctician saying "she might not know what she's talking about" and "just because she's black doesn't mean she knows". I tried my loctician's suggestions but they have left my scalp more inflamed and irritated. I have shared this with my loctician so she's more careful with suggesting certain things for people with known scalp issues. This is very frustrating considering my loctician is neither a doctor or cosmetologist so that leaves me as the client at a loss for what I am supposed to do and honestly eats away at my trust in my loctician.

      No ma'am. I let their hair determine that. If they tell me a desired count, I try to accommodate but their hair has the ultimate say so.
