    Great video brother! This will be my life soon. Building a van into a camper to move into so yeah, this video is one of a kind. Really loved the more in depth skill/creative type gems you put in. More like this! Maybe one for getting off a highway using an exit and then getting back on and continuing etc. Just an example! Thanks again and God bless brother. Cheers

      Hi True Solutions - thank you for your comment and compliment. And the camper van sounds like a fantastic adventure. I'll put that video suggestion on the list - that is a great topic because often the way you get off the highway is not the way you get back on. If there is anything further we can do, drop us a note. Always happy to help. All the best, Cheers Rick God Bless

      Hi it is found that havings google maps is the main reason since there is no need to remember the directions, do it without maps and get in a new route every time to your destination you will learn a lot

      Hi Val S. - you are most welcome my friend. And thank you for the genuine compliment. Yes, Jill (the little guy on google maps) is a brilliant feature of google maps that allows you to use street view. How did we ever navigate and route plan before google maps. All the best my friend. Cheers Rick I'm still working on an expert for the post-crash trauma counselling. How are you doing with that?

    Hello! I am 16 and received my learners permit 3 months ago. I am worried that someday I may not understand my way around reading addresses and locations. So far I only know my way around only by using the same routes I experienced before.

    Hey Rick I know this is off topic but sometimes with parallel parking I sometimes hit the bumper of the car to the front or the rear.
    Lightly, I even open the door a little to see how close but I still will sometimes miscalculate, Not something I want to make a habit of.

    20:49 the GPS says turn left but you stay in the right lane since both lanes turn left. If this was my first time on this road I would still have tried to merge into the left lane in preparation to turn left. Is this a problem if I do so?

    • @ViralDiscussions
      @ViralDiscussions 2 года назад +2

      i know you didn’t ask me but i’d definitely merge onto the left lane to be safe if its an area i dont know. he said in the video he lives there so he probably already knew there was a double left turn and stayed in the right lane for that reason

    What do you think about dash phone props and listening to google voice instructions while driving? Is that safe also or should one always remember the route before the trip?

    • @smartdrivetest
      @smartdrivetest  6 лет назад +3

      Hi Steve Stevenson - Thank you for your comment. And yes, totally list to the audio directions while driving. Simply--DO NOT--under any circumstances while driving do you touch your phone. If you have to look at the phone for directions, ensure that you stop the vehicle. As well, there have been comments about having to have holders, but I'm going to look into that and will get back to you. If there is anything further we can do, drop us a note. Always happy to help. All the best, Cheers Rick

    Why do you keep showing the back of the vehicle?!!! I find this annoying! Like we know what check over your shoulders mean. You don't need to show us the back of the vehicle/behind you each time!

    • @smartdrivetest
      @smartdrivetest  2 года назад +3

      Actually, the reason I show it is due to the fact that you need to be aware of the traffic to the rear. Most rear-end crashes result in soft tissue damage which will plague you for months, if not years. Drop us a note if we can help further. All the best, Cheers Rick
