- OO gauge DCC sound wagon ride around layout, thought I’d give you an idea of the layout starting from my single fiddle yard, passing the new depot before a run round the mainline, cross over to outer loop and stopping in the station, change of direction leaving the station for a run round on the outer loop and over the suspension bridge, rejoin the main line before finishing back at the station, plenty of work still to be done , recorded on a GoPro 4
Excellent video Darrell, just love the way you use tunnels to disguise the change of levels. The red flashing leds in the tunnels add a magical mystery type atmosphere.
Hi Rusty, how you doing, thank for the kind comments, glad you enjoyed the ride around, was fun making it, the flashing red led’s are the signal sensors and the camera , I agree it does look a bit spooky 😊
Thanks for sharing this one Darrell really enjoyed it cheers Al
Thanks very much for your comment and glad you enjoyed it, cheers Darrell
I found this Darrell, I missed this . Excellent look around, love the lights on the underside of the station. Very neat. Awesome layout and improving all the time. ATB to you.Stuart
Cheers Stuart, I’ll hopefully be putting an upto date wagon ride to show some of the progress and slight changes to the track work around the station and viaduct areas 😃👍
Brilliant video good to see from.little people scale. Like all the sound effects and the signals
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it, I did get a good feeling watching it back as the signals changed, got a couple more to link up yet 👍 cheers Darrell
Just had a bit of time-out from working on my layout to catch up with looking at other people's layouts. Very much enjoyed the ride round yours Darrell. An interesting layout with the build coming along nicely. Atb Graham 👍 🙂
Hi Graham, thanks so much for the comment and glad you had a bit of a time out and enjoyed the ride, cheers Darrell
Hi Darrell. It was nice to see a video from you come up, its been a while but it looks like you have been very busy working on your layout. I always like the ride around videos that people do of their layout, as nothing is hidden and you can get more ideas or inspiration. Also your first on camera appearance, hopefully in the future you can do a how to video.
Hi Gus, how you doing? Yeah it’s been a while since I’ve put something up, been itching to do this ride video for a while and really pleased how it came out, started the depot area over the last few weekends, as for showing myself let’s just say I’ve got a face for radio not the Tv 😂😂
Hello Darrell a very pleasant ride around your layout very food camera 🎥 quality good to see the hidden parts of your layout like you back-scene have. a great Easter weekend cheers al 🐣😃🤗👍🚂🎥
Hi Al, hope your having a great Easter weekend, thanks for your kind comments and glad you enjoyed the ride, all the best and take care, cheers Darrell
@@darrelldeltic807 😊😊👍👍
Nice video Darrell. Like the different levels you’ve got, I could only wish for that space to build a layout in. 👍👍
Cheers, glad you enjoyed the video, your layout looks huge and the scenics are very impressive 👍
good vid on channel thanks lee
Glad you enjoyed it Lee 👍
I really enjoyed that Darrell, thank you. There is a lot of interesting aspects going on there and I can appreciate the amount of of work done too. Fabulous backscenes curving around, they really set it off nicely. We all get inspiration and ideas from our fellow modellers so it's good to share the footage. I take it you are a fellow Sussex man too with EASTBOURNE written against the date added to YT.
Cheers Julian, really appreciate your comments, took a bit of inspiration from your last video of chasing trains around your superb layout, yes I’m in Eastbourne and friends with Richard at Ballan Parkway down the road, we meet up at his or attend events a group from time to time, I take it your not too far from here? Cheers Darrell
@@darrelldeltic807 Thanks Darrell. I know very little about the railways I'm afraid. I had a 12 x 4 layout as a kid and decided to revisit my past! I don't really know what I'm doing but I enjoy it so that's what counts I suppose. I am sure the rivet counters are horrified by my YT content but hey ho! Everything I video is rather random and not actually meant to be a realistic interpretation. It's all just testing trains and tracks at the moment but as the layout gets closer to being somewhere near finished I will start running more realist combinations I expect..possibly....probably! I don't take specifics too seriously, I just like watching the trains run round.
Oh, so Ballan Parkway is down there too. I am also subscribed to Richard's YT channel. I'm a bit further over in the county, in the Mid Sussex area. I'm not a member of any groups as such, I'm not sure that's really my scene! lol.
Regards Julian
Totally understand mate, I’m with you on running anything that takes my fancy, I’m not a purist but like to match a loco with the kind of stock it might have hauled, your always welcome down our way if ever your in the area, not a club but just a few friends that like a quiet beer, chat and run trains 👍
@@darrelldeltic807 Thanks Darrell, that's very decent of you, I'll bear that in mind.
Hi Darrell. Your layout looks amazing and I saw in your cabinet the Scotrail HST's which I have the Coaches of the MK3SD coaches which I am still looking into getting one at some point.
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it, there’s a video on here somewhere with it running with the Hornby SD mk3’s 👍 cheers Darrell
Hi Darrell,
That was brilliant. This gives completely different perspective on your layout. Watched it on the bigger screen of the telly. I liked it when it picked up pace. Who was that giant bloke though? 🤔. P.s what camera are you using? Good quality.
Hi Richard, thanks very much mate, glad you enjoyed the ride, it’s just a 2nd hand GoPro 4 sitting on a warwell wagon, liked to have given it a bit more thrash but everything would have been a blur 😆 that giant wishes he was Bernard Cribbins like in the Hornby adverts 🤣🤣
