Tyson's last fight before his prison stretch was a very tough decision over Razor Ruddock. In this fight although he fought bravely, Tyson was exhibiting signs of decline. The great footwork, head movement, and punch combinations were clearly not as sharp. Mike himself has stated many times that his prime ended that night in Tokyo. After taking a beating from Holyfield and losing his titles again, making money became his sole incentive.

George wasn't interested in fighting anyone who could actually fight -- unless it were for a big-money title shot. And George "earned" his title shot against Holyfield by basically beating a bunch of tomato cans. For anyone saying Tyson was ducking Foreman, that makes no sense...Tyson was trying to regain the title, and he wanted a rematch witH Douglas, and Douglas obviously ducked Tyson until he retired the first time. Tyson ended up fighting a much more difficult fight with Razor Ruddock, and a rematch, and then went to prison for 3 years. Had he not gone to prison, I'm sure it would've been inevitable for Tyson-Foreman to fight. I just don't see the logic in Tyson wanting to avoid George Foreman, he is perfect for him. Foreman would be a huge underdog and would get KO'd and hurt very seriously.

Foreman 2.0 was as close to invulnerable to stoppage as any boxer has ever been, and still retained every bit of his former power. So that means 12 rounds for Foreman to land a right hand on Tyson, who was not known for his late round energy. Foreman by KO is guaranteed.

For those who think Tyson could have beaten Foreman on his comeback, well, how? by KO? Only one boxer ever managed that, Muhammad Ali. Tyson would have to go through Foreman's right hand to get to him, he would have to get close, close enough for Foreman to connect at will with his huge punches. Tyson's style was tailor made for Foreman, and Foreman knew it. He wanted to erase the memory of Zaire by beating the next big thing, Mike Tyson (of course, this is assuming they fought during Foreman's comeback, Prime Foreman knocks out Prime Tyson in a couple of rounds)
