Followed this guide, the build is great. One caution if you're going to follow along, at 1:57 the subtitle says to put the You're S.P.E.C.I.A.L! point into Charisma, but in the video he picks Endurance. PICK ENDURANCE. You need the extra Endurance point to take Aquaboy at level 13.
If you only realized this was a problem after like three hours of building shelves, an alternative to doing it all again is just leveling up to 14 and using the perk to put an extra point into endurance. You'll be a level behind the guide, but it's better than doing the shelf grind twice.
This build doesn’t make a great deal of sense to me. Why 6 intelligence of you’re going for idiot savant? 🤷🏻♀️ I’d make him like James Bond wearing a tuxedo. And have high charisma and pacify people/animals until I got deliver and then make him a stealth archer. Or go high (like 9 or 10) in agility and luck, the rest in perception and go gun-fu, VATS heavy, critical hit crazy.
Damn! I replay this game 10+ times. I didn't find the way to avoid being attacked by ghouls at Police Station and unchain the door from the other side in The Gauntlet. Nice works dude!!!
Another good stealth build choice that is amazing is siding with the Operators in Nuka-world. The Ace operator perk you get gives 'Your stealth is increased while in shadows to 90% visibility and you deal 25% more damage with silenced weapons.' Idk how effective it is, but it should bring the damage up on those pistols.
Tip for those starting who want to shorten the time it takes to do the initial level grind. When placing shelves the game responds to both the "E" key, and the "Enter" key. So, if you spam both at the same time you can create shelves twice as quickly.

Stealth builds are awesome in FO4. If you can find a hunting rifle or bolt action pipe with the instigating effect you can one-shot anything from stealth.

Levelling up too high is a noob mistake in this game. Up to level 30 you get benefits, but slow it down before it’s too late…after around level 50 it’s steady diminishing or even detrimental as the monsters get stronger while you don’t.

If someone out there knows for a fact which would be better for me, I'm all ears. Also, at 21:08 when you were talking about the all-black BOS uniform - another good looking under-armor you could go with is the marine wetsuit & helmet from Far Harbor. I plan on getting my character that wetsuit as soon as I can because it looks dope as hell when it's paired with some light & sturdy leather armor w/ the BOS paintjob from creation club.

I know Cunning adds a point to Agility, which means that'll improve my stealth - but I've also read that Chameleon makes me harder to find when I'm sneaking and not moving, which I kind of get confused by because I'm not 100% sure if that means it'll make me harder to detect when I'm either sneaking or not moving, or when I'm sneaking AND not moving.
My Agility is already at 10, and I plan on getting the respective bobblehead a bit later. After that, I also plan to get Smooth Operator from Nuka World and all of the Covert Ops mags.
100% my favorite way to play fallout 4.
I can't stop laughing!
