yes, but still can't believe that the patient is dangled from the helicopter on the way to the hospital in some countries. Here in US, the patient is carried in the helicopter. I realize that a smaller heli can be used this way and I guess it must be the best way to pick someone up from a mountain, but still seems a bit on the edge to me.
My thought on this is that pro sports on all segments got far too far just to satisfy the "hungry" audiences. This is the "hotpoint" where people get seriously hurt, even dead. Not only audiences but their hungry sponsors that want them to be as high as possible. To have more money. Skiing is a fast sport and I am really not enjoying watching people crashing down the slope, they are not robots, but humans. I understand they agreed to this type of "torture", but a lot of things are just not necessary (like long jumps, allowing insane speeds...). I heard a story of a former olympian, she was an athlete, a runner, and she told me, that she has all her spine covered with "nails", and most of her co-competitors on a highest sport level ended on a wheelchair. She said: I strongly disreccomand you a pro sport, look what it had done to us. I put my helmet down to each of them, because I have a feeling what they are going through.
Praying that Alek will be okay. Glad that nothing was broken, but it ends his season. Mikaela is taking good care of him in the hospital. ❤️
and now Mikaela crashed... :(
Glad that he has recovered and doing much better. I recently just saw him on skis at the Beaver Creek downhill races. 🤩💪👍
I hope he is not hurt bad . A hard impact, right at the last gate on the longest course of the World Cup.
wish Alex a quick recovery.
So scary 😢I’m glad he’s recovering ❤️🩹
glad he is ok.. but season has ended... but rescue service waw waw waw, incredible :)

Nothing.
Oh man, that is difficult to watch😞. Incredible athlete…I hope he will be ok. Looked like they were putting a tourniquet on his right leg
0:56 sec mark for the tourniquet application on the leg
follow up article says that he lacerated his calf, hence the tourniquet.
Seems like a high number of top level racers getting injured this year. Male and female
I'm pretty sure that's an AIRBUS helicopter, can someone confirm? (Made in Toulouse France)
Yes it is, should bei an H135 or H145 or a Generation befoe. Just google it
Correct
😮 😮😮😮
