Many years ago as a 4/5 year old schoolboy I worked on Saturdays for over 3 years to get some pocket money helping in a glass(green house) house to water and tend to 500 orchids, including collecting sphagnum Moss from a specific valley in Jersey Ci. UK. All the orchids were bought by Eric Young who later established the Eric Young Foundation and operates as one of the foremost Orchid growers etc in the West hemisphere. I have now retired in Greece and have time to grow some of the orchids which I love and thank you for helping and showing me how to look after them. Thank you. Happy Valentines Day.

Kya green coconut shells ke bina orchid potting medium adhura nahi hai ?
Madam, your videos are really helpful for me and others who are definitely new in orchid growers. Mam, I have one vital question for which I am confused. That is when we purchase small orchid from nursery, they usually give 3inch pot and the plants are well guarded or fixed with coconut chunk of pot sizes and mostly we see it is almost in decompose d condition,some roots are found rotten....in this stage what should we do...taking out coconut chunt from root area or leave them as usual. Please reply what should we do....? If we remove the old chunk from roots surrounding, is it so then growth of that plant will be disturbed... Kindly suggest me. Thanking you...!

Can you please tell me where to get pine bark from? I just used coco chips, charcoal, dried leaves and sand. I potted my orchid bulb during last May/June, so it had sprouted leaves. I have used 20:20:20 spray for it so far, but i guess i have to buy the 30:10:10 NPK mixtures

Dear Sir, firstly I apologize that, I won't able to properly represent things and secondly I work with an organization which use to rehabilitate damaged plants.... As those orchids were a common and normally available variety not in protected category orchids, collected from trees which were devastated while construction of 4 lane in our area, our team also collected some damaged endangered species and replanted them in dense forest..... Sir I will upload a good quality video soon on complete mechanism and planting orchid videos.... I have deleted that video and other 10 videos on various topic like Coco-peat, rose bud grafting etc only because that video do not match to quality standards of my channel now.... We as a team like inspiring others for preserving plants and trees..... Thank you for your consern... Happy to know that there are peoples who love preserving and protecting plants...... Thanks for your response madam, what I think is You are a responsible youtuber and many peoples are following you, so it's your responsibility spread proper information through this network and not something which harm our Floral diversity. We can talk about anything but we don't know what it will resultant . I work for Indian Floral and Faunal conversation for last ten years. So what I feel is peoples like you can plays a very important role in wild flora conservation, by awaring peoples about our rich Biodiversity. I don't know you know it or not, anything even a leaf or a twig you can't collect from inside Indian forests (even if it's fallen). It's the rule, and we need to follow the rule, otherwise they will disappear very soon. It's my request to you please told people about conservation status of Indian wild plants(which is popular in hobby or sold illegally and people don't even know) in your next video. Please don't mind I don't have any personal problem with you, you makes really good video. So it's very much unexpected for me you are doing such things, okay now it's clear to me.
