Sorry about the sound RUclips. Had the input too low on my mic and didn’t notice until everything processed. Guess my headphones were too loud while editing. Oops. 😐
Hey man, what a cool channel! Keep shooting, playing and posting!
Long, but more relevant than most... Thank you!
Thank you. Much appreciated!
Great video! thanks for the comparison!
Oh nice DGT! My dream guitar. I think photography and music have a strong connection. Cheers!
Thx for the vid. I shoot both ... for me, I always edit in post. Sometimes it's quick, sometimes I get really into it and spend some time. Point being, the "sony colors" thing is a non-issue.
for you
you realy should try fuji gfx 50 s2 or 100 s2
What's Fuji lenses do you use.?? Thanks 🙏
Could you please share the images so we could pixel peep at 300%?
Added a link to the files via iCloud share in the description. Thx.
There are so many back n force between Sony and Fuji, but the answer is so simple! If you like the look and colours- get Fuji, if you like autofocus and efficiency- get Sony)
But if you love both - go to Nikon! ;)
I don't understand why anyone needs full frame for landscape. the only thing FF has over APSC is better low-light quality and depth of field. For landscape, you mostly want a large depth of field. Your subject is not moving so you can take longer exposure for low light situations unless it is windy. You can compensate for the depth of field on APSC by moving closer or using a longer focal length. FF is the only advantage with moving subjects such as sports and wildlife.
Why should you need full frame for sports and wildlife? With the crop sensor and less heavy lenses , much easier to get the picture you want ore need!
Don’t forget exposure bracketing to boost DR when needed. 😊
@@jurgenbehets8731 Wth moving subjects you need higher shutter speeds. To avoid higher ISO and noise a FF sensor will be better in less than ideal lighting.
12:43 you probably meant Sigma 18 - 50. Not 55
Yes - thank you!
For me sony colors look more natural while the profile on fuji is a bit oversaturated in those examples. But comes down to taste I guess. FF comes into play if you want a nice background blur
It appears to me that this video is not for photo enthusiasts. Obviously Paul must be referring to Jpeg images only, because there are no effects of color applied to RAW images. Also, it appears that he does not know that you can adjust the photo styles for the jpeg images to make them come out more like you want so you don't have to do so much editing. My suggestion to Paul is that you learn about RAW images and I think everything will change for you.
Correct me if I'm wrong (Paul) but I think he surely knows how to edit RAW files but he is tired of it. As a fellow Fuji fanboy I can really relate to this. After years of always shooting RAW and stacking up with thousands of files needing editing and conversion you get tired of it. With Fuji you do it before you shoot and it is so easy and the whole community behind it with recipes and all makes it just more fun and easy. Just have your custom recipes, shoot and share.
Hi - I shoot RAW and then use Capture One to finalize the pics. I use the Fuji stock film sims 95% and love them. Then yes, all the free film sims you can do with Fuji are cool.
I don’t think Sony makes a 20mm G Master. Maybe you mean the 24mm G Master? They do make a 20mm 1.8 G line, which is a step below G master class.
Yes - thank you. It was the Sony 20MM 1.8 G. Link to the files was added in the description with the Meta data on the lenses.
That sigma lens is not resolving anything you should’ve stuck with the original 18-55 Fuji kit lens if you was going to do that sigma, lens is not resolving than 40 megapixels plus that lens is not that good either you are testing this with a third-party cheap copy Lens
That’s not consistent with what I saw myself and what others have demonstrated on other tests on RUclips, etc. The Sigma is resolving equal to the 40MP sensor was my observation.
@@bouganim this guy just doesn't like sigma or something I use the 18-50 as my daily driver. its great there are tons of comparisons to the Fuji brand lens and the sigma hangs with it and even outperforms in some areas. Is it the best lens ever made? no but what is? His comment about it being cheap really says it all. That's more what his concern is about.
Do you even realise what FF is all about? 😂😂😂
Not sure…maybe you can elaborate on the secret?
@@bouganim You compare these 2 cameras for detail in good lighting where even a Samsung S23ultra 200mpx can do good or better in some scenarios. A olympus OM-1 can be better than both in detail if you use the high resolution mode and lets not even talk about a Sony A7 r3 or R4! Then. talking about colours... if you have such a good camera you should always shot RAW and make the photos yours.. this is where the dynamic range of the Sony can be better. Fuji is a much better camera for video but for photos... I don't think so! You should try more scenarios to test that and not.. aaaaa loook it has more detail, I can read the text at 300%. This, Imo is a misleading video.
Thanks for sharing your input. I don’t take these things that seriously. You should make the correct video with all the cameras you reference and I’d be happy to cross link to it.
The you tube experts always have to chime in their arrogant manners
@@cristianspiridon he compared them to each other for his needs. He clearly said he wants to make sure he won't loose anything from switching. Why would he compare stuff that doesn't matter to him? I agree with him. I don't always want to color grade shit for hours on end. I like the fuji film simulations and they look good right out of the camera for a lot of things. So for some of us that have a job and a wife and a life outside of grandmas basement and like that some things can just work... so we can live our lives...
