Just bought the F-150 V6 Powerboost hybrid (2021). I was upgrading from a 2014 Ford F-150 V8. Absolutely love the hybrid system and all the features in this truck.
These are all good points, my favorite is idling with the AC on, mine runs for 42 seconds every 18 to 20 minutes depending on the temperature of course. You're right the hybrid just makes it an easier trick to live with, and you didn't really even touch on the generator section of the capabilities, that's a whole new ball game as well.
100% agree- being able to idle, coast downhill, and creep along in traffic without having the engine running is such a great feature. The "Stop/Start" experience that a hybrid offers over a gas vehicle is night and day. Most stop start systems are inconvenient and annoying ( which is why they all have a button to disable them lol) but the powerboost is seamless and enhances the driving experience!
Totally agree on the economics, didn’t buy mine thinking I was saving a ton of money. Maybe if I keep it very long term and it stays reliable, time will tell. For me it is the joy to drive it and the fun and challenge to keep improving mileage without annoying other drivers. Have overall mileage up to 25.7. 21 pb with 16K miles.
💯% agreed. Between the game of achieving the highest mpg possible, and the occasional opportunity to blow the doors off a wrx😂the truck is such a blast to drive day to day
I had the XLT 2.7 on order but because after 4 months of waiting and not hearing anything about progress. I jumped on the XLT Powerboost that my dealer had in stock. Same options like SuperCrew, 4x4, 302A, Sport and Black Appearance package, just no 360 camera and No B&O. But not deal breaker. And super excited about the Powerboost I’m picking up on Wednesday.
you'll love the powerboost! Just FYI- from my experience, the gas mileage has been severely affected by the cold weather and/or winter gas. I think Hybrids in general take a larger hit on the MPG when the temp gets cold. I was easily averaging 25 mpg without even trying in the summer, and now im down to 21 ish.
@@omardevonlittle3817 My C-MAX Hybrid had 121K miles still 97% of battery efficiency. This was according to CARMAX testing. Some delivery business brought the car the next day off their lot.
I really enjoyed your video. I am looking at doing exactly what you mentioned, except my trade is a Ram 1500 4x4 getting 15.77 mpg avg..... Otherwise it's a great truck. However, I am generally happier when I get better MPG and stop fewer times to fill up. One question, are you going with 87 octane? That's obviously another pro of the PowerBoost engine, the fact that it can run on regular fuel. Thanks!
Thanks for the video, I have the exact same truck and a Fusion 2020 hybrid plug in, my Fusion has a power monitor, heating in winter 5 kw, propulsion 1 kw, so 5 x times the energy draw to keep you warm in winter than going forward. To get better milage we turn off the heat and turn on the heated seats and steering until the windows fog up and we have no other choice but to turn it back on, winter we get like 15-20 miles of range on a the stock 9kwh battery and summer 3 to 4 times that range with cooled seats on, lol. I plug it in at the mall 30 minutes from my house to get a bill equivalent to one liter of gas or 1.50$ CAD or 1 cent USD (haha), I use 2.4 liters of gas for every 100 kms driven/combined, better than all my motorcycles I owned before, only equal to my first 50CC Honda moped. Recharging away from home is more expansive than gas however. Cheers from the great white north, Quebec, Canada! I just got my truck and am trying to hypermile just for fun, I think I drive the other drivers crazy with my below average take offs and slow roll to a stop, lol. 😁 As my past away British father in law would say Cheerio Pip Pip!
I have always stressed that I would rather have more range than MPG. When I had my 2019 3.5 eco I got rid of it with 16.5 mpg but over 600 miles to a tank because of my 36 gallon tank. My dad's 19 5.3 ecotec3 silverado got 19.5 mpg but 450 miles on a tank. I'll take the range
Guys maybe the mileage reading on the newer trucks is better than my 2017 2.7 Ecoboost 4WD reads 21.6 you fill her up and check with a calculator I’m actually getting 20.4 and I wish it got a lil more, but I’m old and cheap. I’m sure hoping the lil truck will last me, so far almost 80K and not the first problem, I’ve had some crappy vehicles in the past, but so far the F150 nicest vehicle I’ve ever had. Great Video enjoyed it a lot!
Awesome man! I think the MPG calculator on my 2022 f 150 is relatively accurate. It is sometimes a bit optimistic, but usually within 1 mpg of the real number (hand calculated). 20.4 mpg is still a very respectable number for a full size gas truck. That 2.7 motor is fantastic. Im glad to hear you have had such a great experience with your truck, i also feel that it is an excellent vehicle!
just put 2k miles on my 2022 2.7 fx4 and im getting mid 20's 30citty 70highway.... over a 900mil highway run i got 25.2mpg at the pump. between 65 /70mph very flat, no wind... the truck computer was half an mpg off from actual so i adjusted mine.
@@nicholas2932 I think the 2.7 is the best bang for the Buck of any motor ford makes. Also my trucks mpg calculator is the same .5 mpg off the actual mileage.
Long term reliability might be a tradeoff but normally batteries lasts a long time but maybe 10 years later on like the 3rd owner might have problems and replacement costs
I was hoping they would have done the power boost with the 2.7 and 3.55 rear gears. I do have a 2023 power boost on order. My 2016 has the start-stop, I don't have an issue with it. But with my hybrid fusion, I never hear the engine start. I have 2016 with 2.7 FX4, I'm upgrading for the tech, blue cruise, and lane centering. I agree the only time it makes financial sense to buy a new vehicle is if you plan to keep it for 10 - 15 years.
I have actually thought about that as well. If they made the truck with a 2.7 and a slightly stronger electric motor/battery system it would be easily over 30 miles per gallon with similar power. I’m sure they had a reason why they did it the way they did it
I love the forward noise. I use mine to pull the camper and it’s great to let all the asteroids (kids) know Something is coming down the road(parents to). I will agree I can do without the rear beep
You need to put your infotainment into full time dark mode. It looks so much better. I fully admit that I'm obsessed with my PowerBoost mpg. I love playing with the eco coach to maximize the electric motor and being able to see the powertrain on the infotainment. This is my 4th Ford truck and I I love them. I've had little issues here and there, but have never been left stranded or needed a tow. I can't say that about my Tundra or Nissan truck. I believe the PowerBoost has a belt driven starter, so that's why it doesn't crank like a normal truck.
There are many trade offs.... the batteries will need replaced in about ten years. The added upfront cost negates the fuel saving alone. The batteries are only good for so many cycles and being a small battery tied to a hybrid system means a potential shorter lifespan. The new Ramcharger is the answer right now IMO.
Great video sir! My 2022 PB comes today and your video and the comments from others has me fired up!! The only buyer remorse I already have is the lousy payload rating of 1362 pounds for a XLT 157 inch wheelbase. That is pathetic and makes me regret buying it. I hope i will get over this, but Ford needs to offer this with the HDPP option for guys like me.
That’s great man! As far as the pay load goes-I did not even look at that when I bought mine. I put a baby stroller in the bed, maybe a piece of furniture from time to time. My truck does not get used for towing or hauling almost ever so I didn’t even know it had a lower rating. I think the 3.5 eco boost engine option has the best capability and option choices for people who do real work with their trucks. I think you’ll be fine with the powerboost either way
@Patrick Briggs thanks Patrick! It would be cool if you could do a video on the PB payload challenge and ask folks to post theirs and if that constant impacts their utilization of the truck. I think you would enjoy lots of hits sir for that content short if the typical here is a gal in a bikini standing in my truck content.
I have two sets of tires , BFG OKs / and a set of Hankook stock truck tires , Ko's get me 17-18 mpg , the Hankook get me 20-21 at 65 mpg freeway city driving . ( 2016 F150-5.0 / EC / 3.73 gearing . 700 miles per tank cant complain to much , but more would be better , Great job happy milage !!
My 2021 loaded 502A Lariat Pb has 6900 miles and I have never reset Trip B so it shows total life to date mpg of 20.2. That is with maybe 750 towing miles. It's like driving a video game. I configured the dash to show the turbo boost and I watch to avoid boost by removing/enabling gears with + and - buttons on highway hills. It is addictive. Yet it's a hotrod when you want to "feel the need, the need for speed" as Maverick would say....lol
Putting the truck in sport mode definitely makes it a hot rod! With the windows open the turbos whistle loudly and it really is a cool driving experience!
I just bought a 2021 Powerboost Lariat last week. I absolutely love it. I traded the Mach E on it and we also have a plug-in hybrid Jeep Wrangler. I got 25 mpg on my first tank (did have a Tundra that probably got about 15 mpg). Such a smooth, luxurious ride, 25 mpg without trying, and can outrun a Raptor? I can highly recommend it!
I agree! It's a great truck! The wrangler 4XE is a really cool vehicle as well- I like the idea of being able to have 20 miles or so of electric only driving.
@@patrickbriggs1883 It works out great for my wife. Her shop is less than 10 minutes away so 90% of the time, she is able to use all electric. But it is nice knowing that you have a gas option as well and don't have to look for a charger if you want to take a trip up to the mountains.
Just bought the same truck last Friday. I was upgrading from a 2014 Ford F-150 V8. Absolutely love the hybrid system and all the features in this truck.
I personally dont think evs will really be practical for the mass public until you can get 400 to 500 miles per charge until then it will be a enthusiast only vehicle what is your opinion on it is that why you went to hybrid
How about trade offs at high altitude or very cold, snowy, winter weather in mountainy ski country, any challenges for the Powerboost in that situation? And does that electric recharge while you drive on gas, or must you plug it in to recharge? Oh, and can you still do a remote start with the powerboost? Thanks. Very useful video. I've been thinking of getting a loaded F150 Platinum and raptorizing it a bit by some lift and offset, just torn over which of the 3 engine choices to good, eco, power or v8, so very helpful and timely video for me.
It's a hybrid, no plug-in. Electric charges from regen (braking to a stop, or slowing down the vehicle when going down hill). At worst the truck will perform like the same engine without hybrid, like if it's ridiculously cold. But even then I imagine it'll help somewhat. For me the powerboost was a must, both for mileage and for the high power inverter in the back, which can run power tools in the field and can power critical loads in my house during power failures, I gave away my old generator which is sometimes fussy about starting since it doesn't run that often.
Would be nice if Ford went with the 2.7L in Hybrid. I feel it would do better in city driving in a Hybrid in comparison to the 3.5 Hybrid. We enjoy excursions with our Med Size RV so that 7.2KW E-Gen. can actually run our RV A/C .
i had a powerboost that Ford bought back from me because i had nothing but problems with it. the first couple problems had to do with the hybrid system itself. the main one was everytime it went from electric to gas it was very aggressively jerk the entire truck. the other was just audible clunks and not smooth transitions from electric to gas. also my engine overheated. i owned the truck for about 150 days and 48 of them were in the shop. i see and hear nothing but good things about these trucks. kinda frustrating
Thats really to bad Mark- that sounds like the truck was a legitimate lemon. What was the buy back process like? Was Ford good to deal with? What did you end up getting in place of the powerboost?
Just bought my 2022 powerboost XLT. Just have over 130 miles on it and the fuel gauge is still showing full. Coming from a Subaru non turbo Legacy CVT, i do mostly in the city driving and averaged 23 to 25 in the Subaru. Right now I am averaging 26mpg with the heater on in Utah during the winter. I did not buy it for the gas mileage although it is a plus, I am buying a travel trailer that it can tow and provide power to the trailer without hauling a noisy generator around.
That’s awesome man! It’s a great truck and gets much better gas mileage than any other full size truck. The only truck that would get better mileage is the diesels, but with diesel prices not even close to being worth it.
Nearly 800mi range... that's impressive. What size fuel tank do you have in the truck? 36gal? I Bought a 22 Tremor and haven't been able to cross 600mi w/ V6 Eco and 36gal tank (the lift and off-road tires don't help). With nearly 800mi range possible on a truck, industry really should be marketing hybrid vehicles instead of EV for the forseeable future, till the EV tech is cheaper and more competitive. The regen braking is definitely appealing. Also, Premium has higher octane to prevent early "detonation" from occurring during compression. Some vehicles require it based on how the engine tune. If your vehicle manual does not call for it and your vehicle doesn't have high mileage, you really don't need to run premium.
The Powerboost drivetrain all come with a 30.6 gallon tank. The Larger 36 gallon tank is unavailable on the Powerboost- probably because of the battery and/or EV system components taking up space. The Hybrid was a much better choice for me. The lightning is a little too expensive for me, and I do not like the thought of having range anxiety. I Take 200 mile trips somewhat regularly to visit family and It's nice to be able to stop and add 750 + miles of range in 5 minutes at ANY gas pump rather then having to plan out a way to charge a full EV. As far as premium gas goes- I fully understand how that all works and that the truck doesn't need it to run properly. I will say that I am convinced that it runs BETTER on premium/seems to have more power. The Boost gauge climbs higher and I really think the truck is much more alive with a full tank of premium. I believe the truck adjusts the tune for what fuel is in the tank but I could be wrong. My wife's CX-5 turbo 100% does this, and only achieves its advertised power when running premium. The good news is the truck has PLENTY of power on 87, and it does not appear to be affecting gas mileage negatively at all.
I have the same truck I’m pretty heavy on the pedal and get 21-22 mpg . On days that I feel like saving gas I can easily get it to 25-27 mpg . I love the truck . I can feel like being a grandpa one day then the next day smoking your teen son on a green light 😂
I’m going to share something strange, but close to my heart - I currently work in Hawaii and drive a LOT with my ‘16 3.5 EcoBoost 4x4 Expedition with the long wheel base and a small lift. I get 13.55 mpg overall and METICULOUSLY try to improve it… but given that I’ve got 166k miles on it and go through brake pads with the hills here. I spend about $300 on gas every month and pay $450 a month for my payment. I honestly see myself always driving a newer car… and I idle a LOTTT, which kills the turbos, clogs my (1st gen) 3.5 EcoBoost’s EPA add-on parts… and a litany of other issues… I honestly see myself saving money by purchasing a newer Powerboost - for say… $55,000 and paying closer to $800 a month for it… and cutting my gas usage to say… $100 a month - simply due to the economy savings by my idling/hill/brake usage here in Oahu.
I live in Pittsburgh. I've found that hills are the enemy with the pb. Engine has to run all the time going up the grades in our roads here. Does awesome on flat driving. Just depends on where you live. I get better fuel economy, but not enough to justify having one. Still love it though, but if i could do it over i think i would have gotten the 2.7
Yeah, my whole experience so far with this truck has been amazing. I really believe the increased gas mileage is just one of the things that makes this such a great power train. I really enjoy how the truck can idle while running air conditioning or heat without the motor having to be running. The other benefit to having a hybrid powertrain is the regenerative braking. It will be really interesting to see how long my brake pads last I don’t do much towing, but if you do, this is a huge feature that will really save on brakes
I’m on the fence still, and was wondering what kind of mileage/range are you getting on straight interstate driving, and how fast are you typically cruising on the interstate? I love the Powerboost, but I hate the “smaller” tank, almost 100 miles less range than a similarly equipped 3.5 Ecoboost with the 36 gallon tank, if both engines have similar highway mpg’s. I want a comfortable highway cruiser that can still tow when needed.
Bro… just ditched my 2018 5.7 tundra. Flew from Cali to Denver to pickup a 2021 powerboost. Drove it all the way home, 1,300 miles. Got 781 miles from a tank, and averaged 26.7 mpg… and that’s while using 4wd for 40 miles up And over Donner Pass.
WOW. 700+ miles on one tank….you sir must really have a light foot and where is it that you live? Is it mostly flat? I just bought a 22 platinum powerboost. On a good day I average 19 mpg, I live in central coast California. Coastal area with lots of rolling hills and grades, I don’t think a flat road exists within 200 miles of me lol. I do have a heavy foot and even when I’m reserved and really milking it 70 on the highway, I rarely get above 20 mpg.
my dad got 800 on his f150 36 gal tank with the v8 its all about your driving anytime your going over 65 and think your going to save gas is crazy. i can get close to 20 with my 3.5 by simply going slower
I have a powerboost, I really like it. But at just one month old I'm pushing 4000 miles, almost all of the miles are on the expressway at 75 MPH and you don't get electric miles doing that.
'23 powerboost Lariat. I drive it to maximize fuel economy and get 18 MPG. stoplights and anything over 60 kills the MPG. if I drive 65 on the interstates I can get 21 with no wind. I like the truck, but the fuel economy is nowhere near what you folks get. I have tried all the tricks. I can guarantee it is not my driving.
Personally I feel when they went to the hybrid you should get more than 26 miles to a gallon you can’t forget they increase the size of a tank of gas so you can say you went 500 600 miles on a tank full 800 miles to a tank full
Put your tires to max inflation for what the tire is designed for, and not the recommended psi on your door jam. Your mileage will go up another 1-2mpg
I use eco mode from time to time-I am not sure how much of a difference it actually makes. One difference I can notice is the throttle response is softened which may help smooth out throttle inputs from your foot if you aren’t laying attention. This may help Keep the truck in electric mode therefore achieving higher mpg.
They figured if you have money to spend on the higher trims, you probably want the superior engine. That's like driving 30 miles across town because the gas over there is $0.10 cheaper.
It’s not obsession. It’s worth talking about. No one likes talking about the lows but we do enjoy talking about the highs! I ordered a 21 loaded Xlt power boost just to pull our camper. No idea what mpg are but the 7.2 inverter generator is amazing!
When you look at your total miles / electric miles and mpg....Does this mean that Total Miles - Electric Miles 675 - 272 = 403 is what your MPG is based on? So for the 403 miles your engine was running you got 26.8 mpg? And the Electric miles aren't figured in because the engine isn't running?
www.megaohmmotorsports.com/product/ford-psbk-ece it turns off the back up Beeping but even better it turns off the stupid fake engine noise when moving forward as well… such an awesome and simple mod
So you don’t have to unplug the speaker anymore. You can just go into forscan and disable the ped. Speaker and then you unplug the module which is in the passenger area right below the glove box. 👍
That sounds like it could be a much better way to do that. All I did was buy a module online and plug it into the speaker which fools the truck into thinking the speaker is connected. I’m not smart enough to use forscan lol. Maybe if I get more comfortable with it I will try the way you described on my 502 a truck when it comes in
@@patrickbriggs1883 well I certainly did not come up with it. Lol. I’m not that smart. 😂 I stumbled on it in the f150 14gen forums. But I will say forscan is overall pretty easy to use. I did some of the basic stuff like disabling the double horn honk when leaving the truck with key when running. Fog lights with high beams, etc. btw I’m at 26.3 right now. This truck is really amazing. I’m building a connector today so that I can plug the truck into the house if power goes out to be able to keep the lights and stuff on.
@@Astrand1 Thats really interesting about forscan. Is it free? Easy to figure out? Id like to disable that double horn function as well.. fogs with highbeams sounds awesome too. I'm interested in learning about it- I wonder if it voids the warranty? With sport pack in the xlt they did you can’t get power boost at least you can stil get others your stuck in 23 w red grey black or white you can get others I think w chrome but I like the painted bumpers better I think the higher trims may have more choices
i wanted this thing so bad but unfortunately these powerboosts are listed as one of the most unreliable vehicles of 2024. I have a 2018 3.5 and just upped it airflow and horsepower. I get like 22mpg highway.
It’s not really a mph. It turns on when the truck requires more power (going uphill, accelerating etc) and also when the battery is running low. It will hold 45 mph no problem on battery on flat roads for a minute or so depending on conditions. It will also stay in battery only at much higher speeds if it’s a downhill grade.
If you press menu on the steering wheel and then go to my view in the menu section, you can add EV coach as one of the pages. It shows you when you’re using regen baking as well as if you’re in full electric mode or hybrid mode. I keep it on the EV coach screen and it helps me keep the truck in electric mode and get the best mileage. Becomes a game on the main 12 inch infotainment screen I keep the trip meter up which displays electric miles which is also encouraging to try to rack up, if you’re getting 90 miles per gallon I’m guessing you live somewhere that gets pretty cold in the winter and also that you’re relatively heavy/moderate on the throttle I did 90 miles per gallon a couple tanks ago and I was being pretty hard on it but now I’m averaging around 22/23. In the summer the mileage goes up dramatically to 25 to 26.

Is the mileage really that low on your v8? Thats pretty outrageous. From a financial perspective you may have still made a better choice. the Powerboost is like a $3500-$5000 option depending on what trim you are building out. That certainly buys a ton of gas!

So glad I found this video. I’m ready to go look at a 2021 power boost and trade in my 2015 platinum tundra.
Both are great trucks
I like being silent!!!!!
Man i just got an f150 and i regret not getting the power boost. Didnt realize the fuel savinfs was so huge it wouldve paid for itself
@@malthusunc3919 100% I actually wish the power boost had this ability but I can only imagine how much this would increase the price!!
Yes but that would be logical and Ford isn’t about that.
i had a powerboost that Ford bought back from me because i had nothing but problems with it. the first couple problems had to do with the hybrid system itself. the main one was everytime it went from electric to gas it was very aggressively jerk the entire truck. the other was just audible clunks and not smooth transitions from electric to gas. also my engine overheated. i owned the truck for about 150 days and 48 of them were in the shop. i see and hear nothing but good things about these trucks. kinda frustrating
Thats really to bad Mark- that sounds like the truck was a legitimate lemon. What was the buy back process like? Was Ford good to deal with? What did you end up getting in place of the powerboost?
A 22?
I have the same experience with the mileage!
Damn, I get 23 mpg im my taurus sho! But i think it's because I live in Mexico.. we do not have the same fuel over here. Usa has much better fuel
I honestly see myself always driving a newer car… and I idle a LOTTT, which kills the turbos, clogs my (1st gen) 3.5 EcoBoost’s EPA add-on parts… and a litany of other issues…
I honestly see myself saving money by purchasing a newer Powerboost - for say… $55,000 and paying closer to $800 a month for it… and cutting my gas usage to say… $100 a month - simply due to the economy savings by my idling/hill/brake usage here in Oahu.
Also if you can afford it, do NOT use 87 in the 3.5s. Its very noticeable in the throttle.
So if the powerboost feature stops working would you still be able to drive the truck?
I love my 2022 powerboost
Appreciate the video and Appreciate the toyota comment, they are both nice
I’m on the fence still, and was wondering what kind of mileage/range are you getting on straight interstate driving, and how fast are you typically cruising on the interstate? I love the Powerboost, but I hate the “smaller” tank, almost 100 miles less range than a similarly equipped 3.5 Ecoboost with the 36 gallon tank, if both engines have similar highway mpg’s. I want a comfortable highway cruiser that can still tow when needed.
Mine got 24-26 on the highway
@@patrickbriggs1883 that’s cruising around 75? Well I’m pulling the trigger on a clean, low mileage 2021 XLT 302a PB
Anything over 70 mph and your mileage starts to diminish. Do your research on powerboosts. Mine ended up getting lemon lawed.
Bro… just ditched my 2018 5.7 tundra. Flew from Cali to Denver to pickup a 2021 powerboost. Drove it all the way home, 1,300 miles. Got 781 miles from a tank, and averaged 26.7 mpg… and that’s while using 4wd for 40 miles up
And over Donner Pass.
Not only is it 24 mpg but it’s more range bc a lot that miles is pure electric

I agree, I’ve had my Lightning Pro for about six weeks, with about 3600 on the clock, averaging 90 -100 mpge, don’t tow with it and charge from home
Thanks for the video,I'm looking at trading our high milage 5.0 F150s and diesels for the power boost.
You’ll love it
Personally I feel when they went to the hybrid you should get more than 26 miles to a gallon you can’t forget they increase the size of a tank of gas so you can say you went 500 600 miles on a tank full 800 miles to a tank full
For a pickup truck with 430 hp 26 especially in the city is insane
crazy, how much does a tank cost?
Put your tires to max inflation for what the tire is designed for, and not the recommended psi on your door jam. Your mileage will go up another 1-2mpg
Greetings Sir,
Have you tried eco-mode and see the difference between normal mode and how how you drove on eco-mode?
I use eco mode from time to time-I am not sure how much of a difference it actually makes. One difference I can notice is the throttle response is softened which may help smooth out throttle inputs from your foot if you aren’t laying attention. This may help
Keep the truck in electric mode therefore achieving higher mpg.

I wish the upper trims could get the 2.7L I had to get the 3.5. I love it, just wish I could get the 2.7L
Can you PB owners share your yellow payload sticker number too?
When you look at your total miles / electric miles and mpg....Does this mean that Total Miles - Electric Miles 675 - 272 = 403 is what your MPG is based on? So for the 403 miles your engine was running you got 26.8 mpg? And the Electric miles aren't figured in because the engine isn't running?
No 26.8 mpg over the total mileage of 675

At what mph does the gas motor turn on in your truck?
It’s not really a mph. It turns on when the truck requires more power (going uphill, accelerating etc) and also when the battery is running low. It will hold 45 mph no problem on battery on flat roads for a minute or so depending on conditions. It will also stay in battery only at much higher speeds if it’s a downhill grade.
I’m getting 19.9mpg on my 2022 Powerboost, any tips?? What’s this EV Coach mode??
But how does it driveeee?
Haha, yeah I am. Even my wife says so...
hybrid is the ONLY way to go with pickup trucks
I can’t get above 19mpg. So I don’t know how you’re doing it, maybe all downhill.

Is the mileage really that low on your v8? Thats pretty outrageous. From a financial perspective you may have still made a better choice. the Powerboost is like a $3500-$5000 option depending on what trim you are building out. That certainly buys a ton of gas!
@@patrickbriggs1883 it's a 2013 f150 stx. I drive mainly in the city and use Unleaded 88. it also has a K and N intake filter. I could probably get 18 highway if I didn't have mudding tires and used 87 fuel.
Ok, there is a difference between a motor and an engine. An engine is gas or diesel powered and a motor is electric powered. Please adapt to the terminology.
I didn’t know pizza places made motors!!!
