Dom is a professional actor and from his COC podcast you can really tell he has an interest in modern American and British history and society. Most characters he plays have accurate accents and do things someone from that time period would do. I recently listened to their Highway of Blood playthrough and his American accent there is the best out of all of them.

You guys should do a Monopoly, but Space! I think there's a lot of angles you can go with it, but my favorite would be that you're like space colonizing companies taking over different planets and other celestial bodies, but there's probably a lot to do there. Other monopoly versions include: Monopoly but Pirates, Monopoly but Fantasy, and Monopoly but the Wild West
Monopoly, But Prehistoric! (or Nomadic?) Each piece represents a tribe, and every dollar a citizen of that community. You can use citizens to settle on land, but until you have enough (monopoly) you can't develop agriculture (houses/hotels). Citizens spent on land are not lost, but rather attached to that land. When another player lands on the space a number of their citizens join the community (rent); however, those citizens go to the space they settle on, not the player. To increase the number of nomadic citizens that can be spent either wandering families can be found (chance/community chest), citizens can be gained through utilities ownership, or the player must land on their own space and remove citizens from the settlement to become nomadic again; citizens taken can not cause the population to go below the initial price of the land unless the community is disbanded completely, allowing for another player to settle that land. Players may also add to a community if a space is landed on either to grow a well developed, thriving community or to save a struggling community. When you pass GO the death/birth rate gets tallied with the following calculations: 1. Look at the current population compared to the cost of the land. - If it is positive, increase the population by 10%. - If it is negative, decrease the population by 10% as there are not enough members to properly maintain the land. - If the population is the same as the price there is no change at this step. 2. Look at the current development of the land. - If there is no development decrease the population by 10% due to starvation. - If there is 1 house the population stays the same. - If there are 2 houses increase the population by 5%, as well as 5% for each additional house. - If there is a hotel increase the population by 25%; you may also allow up to 10% of the populace to spill over onto adjacent spaces. 3. Use any held population increase/decrease cards from chance/CC. If at any time the population of a land dips below 50% of the value then the society collapses and everyone dies. A monopoly is required to develop land, but land does not need to be developed evenly. "Jail" is now "You are lost" but functions basically the same way. Tax spaces are now wastelands, but function the same way. "Free Parking" is now "The gathering hub". This is where nomads from far and wide meet up and socialize. Roll a die; if it is a 1, you lose 200 nomads to another tribe. If it is a 2 you lose 100. There is no change on a 3 or 4. On a 5 you gain 100. On a 6 you gain 200. Unlike regular monopoly the goal isn't to remove the other players from the game, but to be the first player to build a city; create a full set of hotels. Wage war: When you land on an opposing player's space, after some of your nomad citizens defect, you may choose to wage war. Both players roll two dice; if one side (nomads or settlement) has 10% or more citizens than the other they get a third die. Both sides lose citizens equal to the number rolled by their opponent X10. If this would cause the society to collapse, the invading player may then settle the land for its original cost. Alternately, the defending player can choose to vacate the land before battle with or without the promise of marriage with the aggressor (trading of citizens). Trading: During a player's turn they may choose one of their settlements to trade with any other settlement. They may send citizens from one of their settlements to one of their other settlements, or they may request or give citizens to other settlements in exchange for land, favorable condition cards or to be rid of unfavorable condition cards.
Great suggestion but seems a bit crunchy for this crew. To tack onto that idea, maybe have playbooks based on early human species (Homo Erectus, Neanderthal, Denisovan) with different win conditions, chance having discoveries/disasters (fire +attack, wheel +move, animal attack -pop, daught/flood -pop), with community chest giving war opportunities (community war chest) or societal policies (religion, styles of governance). Pondering that, I now want to see Monopoly, but Prehistory, with different dinosaur playbooks with Extinction being the game ender, landing on your property giving pop bonuses and each property being territorial battles of Dom-inance. Partly to see Dom embody a cataclysmic asteroid, hearing attempts at dinosaur impressions, and partly to see who references the Flintstones first. Drinking game based on "It's a living" utterances.
I didn't think it could be done, but this one has outdone Communopoly for me. It's so good, and things lined up so well multiple times that I was laughing throughout.
House rules idea: exploding kittens, but only the expansion packs. Use every expansion pack, but other than the exploding kittens, none of the original cards are used. This includes defuses.

An idea: Monopoly... But Gravwell! Movement using Gravwell's card system. You can buy properties. However, folks don't pay rent when they land on them, they pay rent if they want to use that property as a source of gravity. Properties owned don't act as gravity source unless the rent for it is paid on that turn. Unowned properties have no gravity. Also, it could be fun to pay rent on any owned property during anyone's movement turn, not just your own. If you want to activate a property on the other side of the board because another player is over there and about to make their move, you can! So long as you have the money. Player tokens could also be a source of gravity? I dunno. If anyone else wants to contribute ideas to this, feel free. I've barely thought about it, lol. But there's potential? The end objective will need to change from either Monopoly or Gravwell, though.
When Dom said Cuba had a communist revolution, I was certain he was going to make Sullivan play a side game of Communopoly again.

Had a thought to share: Monopoly but Midsommar inspired, because Dom as a charismatic cult leader would be scary and compelling.
