I wonder if the scanner does arithemetic. If you've been in the business since 1995, and that gives you 37 years' experience, the year at the time of the filming is 2032. This may well be a scanner worth having!
Does it only just read & delete the fault codes or it can also help programme the functions of interior exterior lights, windows, central locking system AC and the whole nine yards?
There is some extra functions available, more than just reading and deleting fault codes, (handbrake wind back for electric park brakes, service resets, DPF regen etc) but you need to be adjusting the PID in the BCM, for that you need Forscan..
@@Richard-Tanya I know but, it scans for these faults but you still can control anything, you can only cancel things that went wrong but, can't programme anything, that's crippling.
@@Sir-Kay Forscan can program those things.... but you need to know what you are doing... This scanner is for emergency use and gives more functions than a standard EOBD scanner, what you are talking about is a professional workshop scanner, these cost thousands not hundreds and are aimed at mechanics who know what they are doing, this is aimed at the DIYer or home mechanic / traveler, it enables you to scan the transmission/BCM, TCM, ABS etc as its dedicated for the vehicle... much more powerful than a EOBD but NOT as powerful as Forscan :)
Very detailed. Well done. I've used my scanner more than my spare tyre. Upgarding now from the 3210 for those more remote trips. Cheers bud.
WOW! that was awesome. Easily explained, I learned a few things as well. Thanks Richard :) :)
Tuff little unit.... 😄

1985 not 1995, and this is a good scanner for the money :)
