Hi Glenda. Where your two white strips are around your hips. I am trying to make a pair of pants. When I try them on the back where your two strips are. my pants sample digs in me there. Can u tell me why this is happening? My crotch length is the same as yours and my BUTT is super FLAT TOO.

Hello ma’am I subscribed already on your RUclips, I’m glad I found your video when I keep scrolling trying to fix my pants, could you help how to alter the big size stretchy women pants, I think I ruin it already😬 I’m tiny I bought a xxxl i think can’t remember anymore as it’s been a while since I tried to make it smaller for my size, what I did is I lay pants flat and trim each side to get waistline fit to me, then trimming crotch is laying pants fold like to Ur drawing then start trimming it for my legs to fit, but when tried it on it’s funny looking under it’s crumpled/wrinkle in short but looking bad fit please help me to be not waste my pants 😊
I'm sorry but the focus of Sure-Fit Designs is not to re-construct existing garments. However, if you had your pants blueprint from Sure-Fit Designs, then you could use it as a pattern to lay on top of pants that you have picked apart.
hi i was wondering how you would know whether you need to lengthen crotch curve or do a big tummy adjustment. i didnt know that was a thing. is it the same thing?
Hi Glenda. I made a muslin in my sewing class for my pants. When I finished the project at home and tried it on, the waistband did not fit and it was tight all around the rear. Is this a crotch depth issue or something else?
It may or may not be. It might be crotch length. See this video - ruclips.net/video/a8EciF3vigA/видео.html. Also if the waist is too tight it makes me think either the pattern wasn't drawn correctly or you didn't take your waist measurement accurately. But the best was to get help is to email your distributor with photos of front, back and side views so that we can better help and offer valid suggestions. From the look of your account name, you may be from Canada so you would email anna@surefitdesigns.ca
hi mam...IMPORTANT QUESTION... first of all thanks for your wonderful explaination... my QUESTION is... : crotch riser is in the arc line form... and we measure it in the arc length form only and not in straight line manner... so how to calculate it that how much this crotch point must be exactly below the belt line ie how to calculate VERTICAL DISTANCE from belt to the crotch center point in vertical straight form... as it is in the arc form... ???

So when you bring the crotch down, does the waist become higher?
I have learned SO MUCH from you the past couple of weeks. Thank you!
