I'm sure you addressed it in an upcoming video but I would love to see more side-by-side comparisons of pictures and video. You did show a little bit but it was so fast that I couldn't really get a sense.
I would like to know what are really missing compare to Mavic Air. If you could demonstrate Active Track, Tap fly and Course Lock that would be awesome! Thanks!
What does it weigh with the prop guards on?
@@HainaHimsa The wifi connection is between the remote and the drone. You don't connect to other networks. So the answer is yes.

this is absolutely perfect me. Started out with the wingsland s6. Loved flying it and taking photos. Only complaint was the flight time/ speed. This drone looks to be a big step up for not too bad of a price
Great review....told me everything I needed to know. I ended up with the Parrot Anafi. But I may also get the Mini sometime in the future. I just love all the extras I get with the Anafi, follow me, flight plans, 180 degree camera, 4K, 25 minutes of fly time, no "no fly zones" to deal with, easy USB C charging (awesome), but most of all the best feature is it's got to be the quietest drone in it's class.
A long time ago I was researching this drone because I wanted to buy it, and this video convinced me. The most complete I have seen so far! Thank you very much for your work! 🙏🏻

Had my DJI mini for over a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’m very impressed with the quality and it does everything the manufacturer said it would. Just an excellent product! Very good review of a very nice little drone 👍🏼

I bought one last week. Very portable and easy to deploy. Flight time is very good and the camera is great. Smooth clear video and pictures. I didn't need 4K anyway. Gimal stays level even during rapid manuvering. Battery life is great. I love this little drone!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge, man! this video was thorough. Really like the easy to watch format and straight to the point. Audio was clear and leveled always, graphics were simple and clear slight change in the lighting but no biggie. So many youtubers just don't pay this attention to detail.

The video from the phone is enough to see what is going on but does not have the bitrate to be any kind of actual quality video. I also notice the screen has a little bit of delay making tighter flights harder to do.
I bought a Mini about a month ago. I recently shot some flood waters in Lower Alabama at numerous locations. I was blown away with what this little drone can do. I love mine.

Multiple times during this review I found myself nodding in approval to the way you do things. For example, not telling us which footage was which until after we saw them, then showing them in a grid together. I appreciated that method. Also, the hover test to be more consistent with your results as opposed to trying to simulate the same flight path with all of them. You’ve gained a subscriber.

I think another user for this drone is the hiker, mountain biker, cyclists, motorcyclists, etc who want to have a good quality, but very compact drone to take on their rides and adventures. It's appreciably smaller and lighter than my Autel EVO. That's why I'll be getting one. Thanks for all the detailed information.

The spark was frustrating imo because of flight time. This thing is stable and flies for a long time.
Got it today and learned how to fly it. What a blast. A rich buddy of mine who has two expensive drones is going to get this JR model. Love it.
Well got mine yesterday once I returned home from moving. Today I was able to fly it after an update and confirm airspace. Not the best place where I live now but still loved it. I will use it in December on our property in TN
I really appreciate the review! My only concerns are the lack of raw files and the wifi transmission.
Says it's rated for 2 miles which is about the range of the $700 models

I have a mavic pro, I love the 4K and the results! But My only concern (my biggest concern actually) is just how much space it consumes on my backpack.
I don’t know if I should trade my mavic pro for the mini? I’ll be traveling a lot next year, so I know efficiency will be key

If I were forced at gunpoint to find a flaw in this, I'd go with speaking a bit too fast at times, and maybe a good idea to include a price comparison graphic at some point between all the models displayed. A "big thumbs up" (as requested), plus a few kudos, and a hearty pat on the back. This was really informative. I'm a drone newbie (actually, not even....never owned one....but planning on getting one very soon). Thanks for putting this together, FlytPath. I'm sure you spent a lot of time on it.

What is the maximum outdoor temperature it can fly at? For example can it fly at 30 degrees or below during wintertime?

I bought a Tello just to try and get my feet wet in drone photography and videography and I’m looking to upgrade to something a little more capable while still maintaining that compact sizing. The cinematic mode sounds very, very useful. I don't think I've heard of that for other drones. Is that right?

The weight is the biggest selling point for this drone. I like occusync and sensors and intelligent modes so its not a runner for me.

This drone has one purpose. To get new drone buyers to buy it and immediately want another, more expensive drone with more features and a better camera. Well played, DJI marketing department, well played.
I agree! Lol! But I'm not mad at them. I would much rather see people spend their hard earn money on a system like this vs dropping over $100 on a Drone from one of those gypsy kiosks in the mall. I swear it always seems when flying, I have people come up to me to tell me they also own a drone in which they bought from the mall or got from a facebook ad etc. Lol! When they all see that whichever drone I'm flying will just sit there and hover-it blows their minds. Lol!
So I too applaud DJI for working on ways to make the "DJI" name Affordable for all classes.

I've gone from a phatom 3 and mavic pro 2 sold them both for this.

I’ve read it’s the quietest of the all Dji’s. Makes sense..less weight, props don’t have to work as hard.
I’m debating getting one of these to make surfing edits, would this drone be able to take a 15-20 mph wind gust pretty well
