    DIALOGUE AND TRANSLATION:
    A: Hola, ¿cómo estás?
B: Hola, bien gracias.
A: Perfecto.
A: ¡Qué bien! Por cierto, ¿necesitas ayuda con tu trabajo?
B: ¡Gracias, pero no hace falta!
    A: ¿Seguro? Como quieras, eh?
B:Sí sí, seguro. Oye, ¿a qué cafetería quieres ir?
B: ¡Genial! Buena idea, nos vemos allí.
    Hi how are you?
B: Hello, good, thank you. And you?
A: I'm fine too! I feel like having a coffee, do you want to come with me?
B: Sure! I'm meeting some friends later, but we have enough time.
Oh, perfect. Anyway, how was your day?
B: I can't complain, pretty good actually. And you?
A: Anyway, everything is calm. By the way, how are you with your new coworkers? Do you get on well with them?
B: Yes, I get along with most of them. Not only are they nice, but they also help me a lot, you know?
Oh that's great! By the way, do you need help with your work?
B: Thanks, but it's not necessary!
A: Sure? Whatever you want, huh?
B:Yes yes, sure. Hey, which coffee shop do you want to go to?
A: I don't care, whatever you prefer. We can meet at the new cafe next to the train station. Seem to you?
B: Great! Good idea, see you there.

I have a hard time remembering "por cierto" to mean "by the way". My first language is French, and the expression "por cierto" makes me think more of "for sure" .... Cierto, makes me think of 'certitude" in French. Ugh! :/

What are your tips for someone who already speaks another Romance language? I speak Italian and much of what you say is understandable to me!

    • @c.learningclub
      @c.learningclub  4 месяца назад

Great question here! From my experience, if you can speak Italian your focus should be more in being accurate with your grammar, as well as practicing the pronunciation (and rhythm) of Spanish. If you want a bigger challenge in your listening, you could start watching movies or listening to Spanish music, so that you can be as exposed as possible with it👍🏼

¡Gracias! ❤

    • @c.learningclub
      @c.learningclub  4 месяца назад

      "No me importa":
      "Me da igual":
B: "Me da igual, me gusta cualquier género."

    • @c.learningclub

Both! But the context to use is sometimes different. Generally speaking, I would say:
"Te apetece" when you are suggesting a plan: ¿te apetece ir al parque?
"Tienes ganas" when there is excitement involved:
