    I'll say one thing ... Learn to speak and understand Spain Spanish and you'll likely be able to speak it anywhere (perhaps with the exception of Chile). Only after learning for a while and then going to Argentina and Mexico did I realize how fluent I had gotten. Except for the colloquial terms in Mexico, that Spanish is very easy for me to understand. Argentina isn't bad either one you get used to the y and ll sounds. ¡A por ello! (Go for it!)

      With just over 1,000 hours of comprehensible input this is seriously the first time I have seen this expression. You learn something new all the time. About the Spanish spoken in Spain: maybe it's just me, but that seems like a much easier dialect/accent compared to the rest. I'm sure I haven't listened to all dialects from Spain, though. Puerto Rican seems like the tough Spanish to me.

      @@c.learningclub I should also mention that though I had studied Latin American Spanish in middle and high school as a kid, I had never learned vosotros. So most of my true, in-earnest Spain Spanish learning started when I was 50 years old, so I cry BS on anyone that says they're too old to learn it. I'm not especially gifted at languages, and if I can do it, anyone can.

    ¡Cuándo usar por o para! 🥴

    • @espartaco2028
      @espartaco2028 День назад

      Se usa "por" en casos con la connotación de incompleto o en progreso. Se usa "para" en casos de «deadline, destination, done». You can create your own method of remembering so it will stick. The overall idea is POR speaks of a story. The book is written by Merréll O'Brien. I am walking my dog (by the lake, by the park). On weekends, Por los findes. Right? Through, by, around, about the story. PARA is used with final, destination, deadlines. You will serve yourself very well by NOT equating this means that in English. Instead, learn phrases with start with prepositions and then, they will never ever change. Most grammar books are garbage. They will tell you lies like por means this or that. para means this or that. They don´t any more than "a" means at or to. It does not. I have a list if you're interested. This is a very good teacher, though. Follow him.
