- Do you want to know how to Fix your HDMI port not working and fix no signal Black Screen issues? This is very easy to do. Make sure there is nothing disrupting your HDMI connection. I sprayed out the HDMI port using compressed air, also make sure your on the correct HDMI input on your TV. Try using a new hdmi cable. Then launch your PS5 into the safe mode by turning off the PS5 and the holding down the PS5 power button. Then let go on the second beep. Now go to option number 2 and change the video resolution and set it to automatic. Then you can also change the HDCP from automatic to 1.4 only. ...

Horizon Dawn Forbidden West was sending me crazy! Signal loss only with this game! Safe mode and resolution change seem to have fixed it. Awesome vid.

I have trouble when going from my apps back to the PS5. As in, it doesn’t want to bring the picture up properly. It will blink or just stay dark. Occasionally when gaming, also, it will cut to black for a few seconds. Will try all this to see if it helps. My original hdmi cable was bad, and the new one seemed to solve my issues until recently. Now, there seems to be some kind of strange sync issue.

The PS5 has a high output so know other devices can be powered on your TV at the same time. So if have a fire stick that might be on in the background on your input of any else the PS5 will have a blank screen or a on and off screen effect. That’s one of the reasons Sony created a monitor for the PS5 because everyone probably doesn’t own 8K capability television. Hope this works if this video hasn’t already.
What if it’s a Roku tv because mine is showing a black screen and is glitching in and out

Ok so I wahated 15 min and the ps5 hdmi well not transfer to the tv but still turns on
My HDMI port got messed up. Paid for repair. Took it to friends house, disconnected & plugged into friends tv. Got home & BAM! No connection. Sony should’ve added 2 hdmi ports into this system since there so expensive. Smh

After i pluged to the 2nd hdmi i unplug again back to the 1st one and it works again, so you have to unplug and plug in like a reset.
I'm getting these multitudes of miniature red dots all over my screen that are just noticable and my screen flickers in and out. Sometimes it lasts for 4 seconds, and sometimes more than 2 minutes.
When my monitor is connected to my PC or my PS5 is connected to another monitor, it's totally fine. It seems to be a direct problem with my PS5 and this particular monitor, but can't pinpoint the actual problem. This just started about a week ago and it's really straining me 😒😬
My smart TV turns on when I turn on the ps5, so it does recognize the ps5 is there but it still says no signal. Le sigh 😕

I was playing and I accidentally sat on my smart TV controller and it switched to TV mode and ps5 went into black screen. It would not return.. this is the most ridiculous 🙄 problem I've ever encountered on a system

None of your techniques are working for mine. I have tried everything. New cables and new electrical plugs. Everything. PS5 won’t even beep a second time after holding it down for 15 seconds. My machine is only 2 months old.

I also have the series X and he usually plays on that we play fortnite we're getting $80 worth of V Box for Christmas for the xbox now I'll be on the xbox and he will have to play on the switch. I figured it out, it's an issue with the HDCP automatically turning off/on by itself.
Plug your PS5 into a 1080p TV and go to system settings-->HDMI--->Turn off or turn on HDCP. Pretty much the opposite of whatever setting is currently on. Boom, it should work again!

I tried to do the safe mode but the controller would not turn on, the screen also would not turn up. The PS5 is turning out to be a real pain. It was barely bumped and now won't give a signal to any TV.

You need to change your HDCP settings. Plug your PS5 into a spare tv that is 1080p, gp to system settings, HDMI and change your HDCP to the opposite of its current setting.

Well that’s the thing with my ps5 and my monitor I try that same thing where I hold it down to reset or restart the ps5 and that don’t even pop up like the thing is when ever I try to plug everything in properly the monitor power blue little light to make sure it’s on it just goes on and off and idk what to any suggestions

For me restarting my tv always fixes it(not power saving on and off). It's still annoying that it happens every once in a while.

didn’t work for me. Not gonna try any methods that u find from RUclips anymore. I’ve been here for 2 hours and still it says “No signal”? And it’s only this tv that doesn’t work to my game, won’t be watching videos when I need help. Next time I’ll just hire someone. PS5s are ridiculously cheap now, we took one to shop to sell brand new boxed Unopened and they wouldn't even take it..his words "there's no demand for them" ..its easily the worst one they've made with my sons needing the HDMI changing twice already since he got it in 2020 ..its disgusting that this seems to be a very very common problem

I have my ps5 hooked up to a tcl 6 series and this just happened to me. I tried all these steps. It wouldn't happend at the home screen only in game so I relized it had to be a setting. I turned VRR off and problem. Solved. I imagine it's the tv not the ps5

This is becoming a major problem I recently had to buy a new Hdmi Lead And It has happened again Sony need to address this issue I was watching RUclips and all of a sudden my screen went jet black o could hear it but couldn't see anything wtf is up with this hdmi issue both leads are 4k mine gold plated please Sony look into this issue and fix it
Just to update the issue I sent my ps5 to the shop for a repair it's not the hdmi it turns out it's a chip which controls the display output blew I believe when Sony were rushing them out for launch many were not properly done in the warehouse I got my ps5 on the launch day in the UK so I have the original one with the big copper heatsink the repair guy told me he can fix it but can't buy the display chip as none are available thank god I have xbox on pc to tide me over till my ps5 is fixed.....so be aware display chip goes boom on the new ps5
Just had this issue launching a game, black screen, music playing, then yellow screen, I don't think there is a fix for this, I think it's the hdmi cable maybe I'm using the official one, but I will get a replacement gold plated and see if it persists, I can only put the hdmi cable into the 120hrtz mode port, no where else, any help would be greatful
@@HUYI1 honestly baby I am in to minds to get it repaired or sell it and just continue pc gaming but honestly I think I'm going to try and get it repaired but nobody has the display chips and anyone who does is charging crazy amounts for a repair if they get the chips because there expensive but recently I am pc gaming ATM so in to minds to be patient and wait till I can get it repaired I'll definitely keep you guy's posted
@@SnowWhite-ui4lz the console is already expensive, I'm lucky to pay retail price for this console, but I'm not going to take my chances, already ordered a gold plated 2.1 hdmi cable, I know the default cable provided by Sony is basic, I was scared and thought it was my 900 TV 😨😨 but the best thing to do is just replace the basic cable with a better one 😆✌️
