Brilliant. I just love this band. According to Tony Clarkin, Bob Catley apparently has never once sworn on stage in over 40 years. What a total gentleman.
Bought Wings of Heaven at my local music store in the early 90s on cassette, for $1, only because I liked the cover. Never heard of the band at that point. Walked home playing it on my Sony Walkman, and was blown away. Felt sad that I would never see them live. I moved to the UK 10 years later, and saw the lads live about six times. It was destiny, and the gods of rock opening my mind to a world of music I appreciate to this day. Moved back to Australia six years ago, and miss those concerts.
@CHRISTOS FRAGIAS - It's amazing how powerful music is, like how it evokes a memory that takes you right back to a different time and place in your life. Thanks for sharing!
@@matthewclark7952, so true brother. Music carries a vibrational energy that aligns with our being, and uplifts us. I still fondly recall seeing Magnum when I was in the UK, at the London Mean Fiddler, and Shepherd's Bush Empire, to name a few venues.
@@saadirahmanyoutube, thank you. Hope you get to see them one day, they are an awesome band live, that really knows how to connect and engage with the crowd.
Love Magnum , have seen them in concert a couple of times and Tony Clarkin has written some fab songs. Was lucky to have a few beers with the band before a concert some years ago. Great bunch of lads as well who love their fans.
song is fukkking awesome hard rock glory , had this guys been pretty boys like hair metal dudes from sunset strip factory, this anthem would have been all over MTV and worldwide radio, music bussiness was and still is pure shit most of times.
Good top 30 hit by these guys, remember it being played on radio a'lot -and saw them on totp and video of them doing live shows My dad brought their hit album:Chase the dragon in 82, still sounds good today
i remember seeing them at Reading festival in 1980...and over the yrs bought a lot of their stuff which reminds me i must buy a tape player..loads of great songs and better than bon jovi so its a disgrace they didnt get as big!!
Top of the pops. They where the days. And these guys should have been as big as Bon Jovi and all the 80s rock. Love mangum.
At least they're still producing great music, unlike jon bovi lol.
One of my favourite's Magnum songs. Amazing band.
Criminally underrated band - love them

Brings back so many memories ...
Gorgeous! Catleys voice, the laid back professional drumming and the ego free (seemingly) wally, mark and tony.
